What can be found in a name:
Ryan Elizabeth McLeary
When the day I was born:
DOB 08/11/1958
The Angels screamed:
William and Angela McLeary
And Hell shut its doors:
None. thank god.
While creatures retreated:
Once had a cockatoo named Calypso
To depths unknown:
Pure.
I hide from them:
In the sun.
In Libraries
In used book stores.
Quiet Coffee shops
under the covers where it's nice and toasty
Be who they want to see:
A simple girl never leaves the house in a fancy get up. It's denim jeans and a nice top that usually make up Ryan's wardrobe. Sometimes a simple dress and pretty hair ribbons are thrown into the mix. Ryan doesn't typically like to talk about herself but she is fashionably concerned. Ryan, being a bit of a perfectionist on some days, always takes the time to make sure her hair is at least brushed; Her clothes are casual: jeans, t-shirt, sweat shirt. Nothing fancy or anything. Though she can clean up quite nicely if there comes a time for it. Some would call her nerdy, and She could guess her over loaded book bag doesn't really help that image. Unlike some of the characters she's seen around, her body isn't tattooed. Only tasteful piercings in the ears gives a touch of Ryan styled class to her getup. Other than that, she has reddish-brown hair, and soft gray-green eyes. She stands at 5'6" and weigh 138.65 lbs. There isn't much one would expect from some one like her, but as Ryan has learned, never judge a book by it's cover.
But that leaves no one:
To discover that inside:
People say Ryan is a know it all. But she just knows stuff. Not good stuff, just random crap trivia that no one cares about. Thought it often gets in the way of her concentration. What's worse is she's usually right about that stuff. It's hard for her to admit it, but her opinion of herself is what matters most. If others don't like her, that's their own misfortune. She tries to keep positive and always think proactive; With her intentions kept honest and good natured, Ryan isn't hard to get along with. Though most people wouldn't look twice at her. She's quiet and reserved. But she's happy. Those who do speek to her will always find a friend, someone to talk to or a shoulder to lean on when it's needed. Loyalty is an extremely important thing to her and she's willing to risk anything to help people. As well as put her own troubles aside no matter how large they may be. The world is ending around her, and Ryan isn't going to go down with out a fight. Courage, quick thinking, and faith in the good guys keeps her going, as she hopes one day to join the ranks of those who fight for the cause.
This soulless being:
Bubble Gum. Period no questions asked.
Reading.
Laying in the sun. Not sun bathing... just laying in it.
Arithmancy. It's pretty much the best.
Charms
Mother's Shepard's Pie...mmmmmmm
Is just as lost:
Thunder storms.
Divination. Waste of life....
knowing that people mostly don't see her.
Asparagus
Esperanza Purrington(A non-played Character in my own mind)(Also a bully).. she's just so mean.
As everyone else:
Well rounded
level headed.
focused on bettering her knowledge
tragically kind and compassionate
not afraid of the battle so many are loosing.
In a world that knows only hate:
Sometimes too blind to see her own stupid mistakes.
Mouth gets a head of her often and typically says much to much.
can get a little touchy
pathetically courageous to a dangerous and stupid fault.
can be a little too nice for some people.
And causes pain for the soulless like me:
Cares very much what other people think even though she'd rather them not know that.
Really wants to be an auror. But That's not really a secret she's dying for a chance
at helping with the fight against the dark lord.
They left me to die:
Jenavicia and Zander O'Reilly
On a bed of roses:
Michelle and Benjamin McLeary
Blood seeping through:
William and Angela fled Ireland in desperate hopes to find peace from the witch hunters, In their travels they met an traveling Gypsy who told them they would never conceive a child. But they did. Under the influence of plenty of whiskey on a cold evening of travel, they came to a begging woman. They told the woman of their cold and asked if she knew of a place to get warm. The woman rejected their inquiry, but gave them a small silver vial and said to them, "just one drop and the pleasure of one another's bodies will keep you warm. You will conceive a child in your passions tonight, Be it a girl, you should bring it to me. A boy you may keep." Thinking the woman was crazy to give them that little alcohol they each drank half. They thought it was safe as they had already been told it was impossible to conceive But it was not liquor. A potion filled deep with passion and lust brought them close for the evening and Ryan, a mishap of booze and extra strength love potion, was born. The child who was never supposed to be.

What a bitter story of love:

Over joyed the couple continued their journey and never returned to the woman. Fear struck them when the baby arrived. A girl. In hopes that it would mask their beautiful baby, they gave her a boy's name. It seemed to suit her just fine though. Their child was an explorer from the start. Though a lonely explorer. They never were able to have more children, and fear of the beggar woman lead Angela to keep her precious daughter very close to home. It took everything in her to let her go to Hogwarts. They of course discussed Ryan's security with the headmaster and Ryan was sorted into Ravenclaw and has attended ever since. Ryan was never told of the danger she faces every time she's in public, and never understood why her parents would not let her got into town with the other students. No friends came over as a child. Her mother was terrified of spies.
Earlier this year, her parents were killed in a large mass killing riot. It pushed Ryan to ache for vengeance. The battle had gotten far too personal and she wanted a part of the demise of lord Voldemort and his army. Ryan has since then been forced to stay at Hogwarts, but the ugly battle looms on and winter only lasts so long before summer comes, and once she has no business being at Hogwarts, she wishes to plunge into the fight but her naivety of the beggar woman that lead to her creation, hangs darkly, and secretly behind her.
Rain. Damn. This stupid winter weather made her so upset. Couldn't go outside. Though with her restriction to the castle, going out wasn't worth it anyway. Pulling on a sweater and her sneakers she left the girls dorm and sulked down the stairs. Stupid stupid. The fire in the common room was barely a flicker anymore. No one had been up to stoke it in a while. Oh well. She didn't plan on staying here anyway. Leaving for the halls she got a strange feeling like she was being watched. She'd never had panic attacks before; though with everything going the way it was she wasn't surprised.
Alone. That's all she could feel. Closing her eyes, she let the dizziness and nausea wash over her. Get a grip, Ryan! Straightening, she shook her head and looked left to right. People passed right by her. No one saw her. Today, it was better that way. Ryan pushed away from the wall she had leaned against and ran down the hall. A mess of red brown tresses followed her. Her legs stretched as she took the stairs two at a time to get to the ground floor. Bursting through the doors she lifted her face to feel the rain on her skin.
"Seriously?!" Her scream echoed up to the heavens. "Really!! Me?!! I hate to sound stupid, but... Why me?! What the Hell did I ever do wrong?!" She was beginning to soak as she let her arms fall and hang beside her. Ryan stomped a few times in a small mud puddle near by and attempted to let out her frustrations that way. It would never work. Mutilating minuscule bodies of water would never bring them back and it sure wouldn't make her happier....just wet. Looking down she swore and turned back for the castle. Inside, everyone ignored the soaking wet version of herself. "Stupid rain."
