Remus finally gave in, and it made Sirius smile, although he was smiling even bigger inside. This was probably more than likely going to get interesting, although he hoped it wouldn't mean that suddenly whenever Remus wasn't studying or in class he'd be with Annelise. Providing it panned out and she did actually like Remus back. Sirius didn't voice his worries about losing time with his friend, however, for he didn't want to seem, well, petty. Sirius had a bad problem, however, of letting things build up in him. If Remus was to randomly start neglecting his friends, Sirius would no doubt do nothing about it until it became too much, and then possibly get angry. However, he knew he'd have to deal with it if and when the time came. He didn't want to become presumptuous and possibly insult Remus. Besides, realistically, he should know Remus better than that.
"I'll just direct her to you, should she ever be angry with me."
Sirius shrugged. "Go right ahead. I'm the one who told you to go for it and not tell her your secret, so if she gets mad, then it's technically at me, right?"
Besides, Sirius was used to girls being angry. It came with being promiscuous. So many of them claimed they didn't want anything serious, but for the most part, they really did. They all hoped that sex would lead them to a relationship, or magically make him fall in love with them, which it didn't. Many wouldn't even voice that they were angry, and would instead just continue flirting with him afterwards, and when he'd flirt back they would claim he was 'leading them on.' Technically, he was, but only for sex. He never once actually, in his mind, gave the girl the impression he wanted a relationship. Well, once he did, but that was because he was younger than he was now, and she claimed she didn't want to give her virginity up to just 'anyone.' So, he made it sound like he wanted to be her boyfriend. She did what he wanted, and Sirius buggered off like he always did. It was the only time he truly felt bad for what he had done. He never told his friends about that particular incident, however, for she even changed schools out of embarassment. She wrote him once telling him that she was going to go to Beauxbatons if he didn't actually want to date her. He hadn't, and wasn't going to date her just to keep her at her first choice school (for really, what's more fair?) so she actually left. Everyone else just thought the family's first choice had been Beauxbatons.
"So um..." Sirius coughed out of awkwardness. He wasn't typically an awkward guy, but he had to ask, "There's nothing, uh, else you wanted to ask, was there?"
He raised an eyebrow in a knowing manner. Remus was a virgin, after all, and there probably would no doubt be certain questions he'd want answered, providing his parents hadn't given him the typical parent talk. Sirius himself never had it, and besides, the parent talk wasn't informative anyways. It didn't tell about what sex would be like, or anything like that. But realistically, even though Sirius didn't realize it, sex didn't necessarily happen just because you were dating someone. However, in Sirius' mind, it should happen even before a relationship started - you didn't buy a broom before test riding it first, right? Well, that analogy was typically better for marriage, but he supposed it worked here too. Sirius didn't really know what kind of questions Remus could ask, but there was always the option there, especially since they were already so far into their conversation. Word count: 675 Notes: Hahaha. Let the even more awkward part begin! Aww Sirius <3

Remus hadn't even given thought to the fact he might be neglecting his friends more once he had a romantic interest. After all - he had never had a girlfriend before and neither had his friends, really. Sirius had his one-time-things, which didn't require him to go on lengthy (and multiple) dates. James had been pining over the same girl for ages without success, so he didn't really spend a lot of time with Lily, either. Peter had a crush on someone, or so Remus suspected, but was too shy to actually act on it. Actually, now Remus thought about it, he was rather like Peter, wasn't he? If you thought about it, Remus was not the type to be so absorbed by a girl that he forgot all about his other friends. On the other hand.. who knew how things would go once Remus would find his romantic interest reciprocated?
To be honest, the main and almost only thing that bothered Remus was his condition. What Sirius said sounded all very easy and like the best way out, but on the other hand.. Remus knew he'd feel terrible about willfully deceiving someone he liked. A silent little voice in the back of his head urged him to stop worrying, as Annelise had seemed the type that wouldn't mind, but, as said before.. a playmate and a romantic interest were poles apart. Besides, she'd only been a child back then, almost a decade had passed - it couldn't be compared. Angry girls, Remus had dealt with them once or twice. Angry girls who hadn't been able to find Sirius and had, thus, decided to direct their angry words to his friend in stead, telling him to pass on the message. Remus couldn't help but wonder if Sirius knew he was hurting those girls (as he was certain the wrath was probably a result of heartbreak and sadness), but then again.. it was Sirius' life, wasn't it? Not his business.
"So um..." Remus looked up. He'd been under the impression that the conversation was over now, but apparently Sirius had something else to say? "There's nothing, uh, else you wanted to ask, was there?" For a second or two, Remus' expression was clueless, but then Sirius raised his eyebrow and realisation dawned, causing him to blush. "Sirius!" he hissed, a first reaction he had not been able to stop. "I-I'm not even sure she likes me yet, I can't just think about- It's not all about sex," he eventually stammered, looking at Sirius a little incredulously. The idea of having sex with Annelise hadn't even entered his mind, not really, anyway. But now, thanks to Sirius, images flooded his mind that made him blush a deeper shade of red and he groaned. "Merlin, Sirius, thanks for the mental images there.." Remus had certainly been subjected to the talk of 'flowers and bees' by his parents, just before his second year at Hogwarts when his parents had noticed Remus had attempted to wash his sheets in the shower, which had, inevitably, ended in water all over the place. He knew about sex; he knew how it worked (basically, anyway), he knew it was something that should be done between two people out of mutual affection.. and in this situation, he wasn't even sure about the mutual affection yet!

Sirius burst out laughing at his friend's reaction, kind of happy that Remus didn't want to talk about sex or his virginity. Sirius couldn't even really remember when he lost his own virginity, but it had to be around his first or second year, as terrible as that sounded. The redder Remus' face got, the more Sirius laughed.
"Well, you'll need to think about that eventually," Sirius said, continuing to chuckle as he laid down in bed. He laid his hands behind his head and closed his eyes leisurely. "Besides, if you don't, I will." He opened one eye to see Remus' reaction, but he figured that Remus would know that was a joke. He closed his eye again, and suddenly felt exhausted.

As Sirius laughed, Remus slowly managed to calm himself down. This conversation was absolutely over, he was not going to discuss that sort of things with Sirius, even if he was an expert on it.
"Well, you'll need to think about that eventually. Besides, if you don't, I will." Remus snorted inelegantly and raised an eyebrow at Sirius in amusement. "Yes, Sirius, it's a great comfort that you'll be thinking of me and my teenage crush the next time you're having it off," he joked, though with a tone that obviously indicated this conversation was now very much over. He'd had his advice and Remus at least sort of knew what he was going to do now, with the emphasis on 'sort of'. But it was enough for now to set his mind at ease.
