Annelise felt after she told him she liked him that it didn’t sound right. It sounded childish, and immature. On the other hand, however, she found it cute and innocent. She couldn’t believe what she thought was going to be a tutoring lesson would turn into them expressing that they had, well, crushes on each other. She never knew that feelings could come so quickly, really. She knew they weren’t feelings of love, she wasn’t stupid. It was merely infatuation, and although she hadn’t ever felt like this for someone before, romance novels taught her that in the beginning everyone felt like this. They felt like they wanted to learn everything they could about the other person. It was more than that to her, though. She felt as if even if he didn’t like her back, she still wanted him in her life. It was just something… indescribable to her. How come she had never read about those sorts of things in romance books? She was thinking too much, and completely realized that, and she almost missed it when Remus began to lean towards her. The next moment, their lips were touching. Annelise’s eyes grew wide initially, and her body was stiff, but then she relaxed into it. It was her first kiss in her life, and she didn’t want to ruin it by jumping back in surprise. She allowed her eyes to close, feeling his lips pressed against hers. She wanted to stop thinking, but she couldn’t. Annelise was too excited. She could feel tingles from the top of her head to the tips of her toes, and her stomach was fluttering with butterflies. She wished she had someone she could go running to after this and tell them all about it, but at the same time, she was happy that she didn’t… if that made sense.
Annelise was then very aware of the fact that her arms were dangling at her sides awkwardly. She knew that wasn’t right. If it felt awkward, it had to be wrong. She moved her hands up to Remus’ neck, and put one on the back of his head in his hair. She tried to remember this exact moment for exactly how it was. She didn’t want to forget anything about it, from the feel of his lips, to the somewhat rough hair, to even the room itself. Annelise couldn’t have asked for a better first kiss, or from a better guy to have it with. Word count: 413 Notes: Yeah, it's short, and I didn't really make much happen haha. Sorry, I couldn't think of anything. I couldn't imagine her being the one pulling away, either, she was liking it too much

Remus, who had, by the way, not the faintest idea this was her first kiss as well (Annelise was so pretty, he didn't expect her to not have been kissed before), relaxed a little more himself when he noticed Annelise did so. He had half expected her to jump back and slap him across the face (or worse: push him off and look hurt), which was the only reaction he ever expected from girls, for some reason. He rested his hands just above her hips, fingers on her lower back, and deepened the kiss the slightest bit. You must know that Remus had no idea what he was doing, it was all pure instinct and though he wasn't so bad for his first time, it was also still a little clumsy and insecure. Despite all that, to Remus, it was wonderful. His whole world seemed to be made out of Annelise. He could smell her (she was so delightfully close!), feel her both with his own hands as well as her hands in his hair, he could taste her; Remus never could've guessed that kissing someone involved so many senses and sensations and could suddenly imagine why Sirius liked doing it so much.
After a while, he pulled back, slowly, though remained close to her and looked at her face, searching for a reaction. The room suddenly seemed immensely quiet compared to the heartbeating loudness he'd experienced throughout the kiss. He felt an apology ready on his lips, but actually.. Remus wasn't sure if he was supposed to apologise at all. He'd rather enjoyed himself, to be honest, and Annelise hadn't pushed him away, either. "Did you mind..?" he asked softly with a slightly hoarse voice, as he wasn't sure what he was reading in the girl's eyes. It was obvious that he didn't. Oh, not at all.

Annelise realized that she liked the feeling of Remus being so close; the feel of his hands on her hips and back. She never imagined before enjoying someone being this close to her. She didn’t want him to pull away, but when he did, she just whispered, “Wow,” with a stupid grin on her face. She didn’t want to stop touching him, but she did, still being able to feel what he felt like on her hands and lips. Her heart was racing possibly even harder after they pulled away from each other due to the excitement and nervousness about the potential awkwardness afterwards. What did this mean, though? Did it mean absolutely nothing, like it was just a showing of affection? Or possibly this meant he wanted more? She wasn’t sure. She could never recall in the past few years seeing Remus with a girl, really; at least not on a regular basis. She felt a surge of panic, however. Was he really just like Sirius, just in a shier form? She sincerely hoped not, but also doubted it as well. He just, well, didn’t seem like the type. Although she had only known him for a few weeks, she certainly hoped that she read him better than that.
"Did you mind..?”
Annelise laughed softly at the question. “You think I would have responded otherwise?”
Her voice sounded casual with an air of joking, but inside she was a trembling mess. All sorts of different things were going on in her mind. Did she kiss well? Was he hoping for more? She didn’t even know how to react to all of this. She didn’t want to ask the whole, ‘So what are we?’ sort of thing. She was sure if he wanted her as his girlfriend, he would ask, and she really didn’t want to launch a conversation about it if that’s not what he truly wanted. Perhaps he needed time to think about what he wanted? Annelise knew what she wanted, but it didn’t mean he wanted the same thing. Annelise actually cursed herself for not being the kind of girl to prod, for in her mind, it was all she felt like doing. Word Count: 363

Although Remus had stopped kissing her, he kept his hands where the were. He liked them there, he hoped she did too - if she didn't, she'd say so, right? She grinned and breathed a 'wow', that was good? He guessed so. He blushed a shade deeper when she laughed at his question. Remus was aware it was a bit of a stupid question, but he just wanted to make sure he hadn't, well, forced himself on her or something. Remus felt a little ashamed he had let himself go like that, even though now, in the end, the results seemed pleasant. "You think I would have responded otherwise?" He smiled lopsidedly and a little nervously. "I don't know.." True, he didn't - he had never kissed a girl before, so how would he know?
"I'd have liked to have asked you on a date before surprising you like that," he admitted. He hadn't just surprised Annelise, but himself as well. "Still.. would you like to?" he asked. Remus sounded positively hopeful, hoping she would say yes. He didn't know what he'd do if she declined his offer now after he had been so close to her. Remus thought he'd go mad. Did she want to? Would she want to? He was damn sure he wanted to. Actually, to be precise, he wouldn't mind just.. being her boyfriend, but he'd always been told that there ought to be at least one date before that (and he guessed tutoring sessions didn't count as dates). He didn't want to push her into anything. He'd been thinking about his feelings for at least two weeks already (which, for Remus, was quite a long time, as he'd never really had those feelings before), but maybe to her this was all a surprise? "If- if this is sudden, well, I understand, you don't need to answer now," he added, for just that reason.

Annelise liked that he kept his hands where they were, for it made her feel like he couldn’t get enough of her. She liked the fact that despite the fact that they were in a very large room, that she could practically feel his breath on her face. The thing she wanted to do the most at the moment was to kiss him again, but regardless of the fact that they had just finishing kissing, she was nervous to, so she didn’t. She just couldn’t get the stupid smile off of her face, and she wondered if Remus thought she looked idiotic.
"I'd have liked to have asked you on a date before surprising you like that. Still... would you like to?"
Annelise wasn’t aware of the fact that her smile could get any larger than it already was, but that certainly did the trick.
“Yes, I’d love to!” she exclaimed, pulling Remus into a hug without even thinking.
Needless to say, she was excited. Had she been thinking about this for a while now? Yes, she had. But in her mind, it had only really been a dream or a nice thought of what could happen. She didn’t expect him to ask her on a date this early into knowing him, but really, she didn’t know what was normal when people got to know each other. How long did people really expect to wait before asking someone on a date? Besides, Annelise was aware of the fact that she sort of liked Remus the same day that she had met him. So why not, right? She was excited for their date, and really hoped it would go well – perhaps hoping that it would eventually lead to something steady. The last thing that she wanted was to be one of many girls that a guy was ‘seeing.’ But the way he said the next sentence made her doubt that this would be the case:
"If- if this is sudden, well, I understand, you don't need to answer now.”
There was honestly something charming about the way he got nervous. Annelise supposed that it showed that he cared. She smiled at him, trying to get him to crack one as well. She wanted his nerves to turn into good feelings, and she wanted to see it. Word count: 351

Remus couldn't get enough of her, that was the point. He didn't think Annelise would ever bore him, as opposed to Sirius and his girls who hardly seemed to fascinate him after a few days had past. He liked the contact, liked being near her, though he couldn't rationally explain it. Then again, hadn't Sirius told him to stop his damned thinking? Who cared if he couldn't explain it? It was pleasant and intimate at a degree they both felt comfortable with - that ought to be enough. She was still smiling, too, and that gave Remus courage and confidence he didn't know he possessed.
As for boosting his confidence, Annelise's reply to his stammering question of asking her out on a date seemed to fill his cup of confidence to the brim as she pulled him into a hug enthusiastically. 'She really likes me?' a surprised, but happy, mental voice asked for a moment, but it was a rhetorical question - even Remus could tell she liked him, or she wouldn't have reacted like this. He smiled wide, hugging her back (but careful to do so gently - he'd already lost control once today) and relishing in how wonderful she smelled and felt against him. He could certainly get used to that. Remus knew nothing when it concerned the etiquette of dates, he only knew they were required. You couldn't just ask someone to be your boy or girlfriend without having a date prior to that. Who cared about how long he should've waited, anyway? She'd accepted, and, like Annelise, Remus was not looking for a fling or a quick snog.
"Good," he whispered against her hair softly, not pulling back from the hug just yet, he liked it too much. It was almost intoxicating to be so close to her and he had completely forgotten what they'd been doing in the first place. "Where'd you like to go?" Remus then asked, pulling back a little but only so he could see her eyes. He liked her eyes.

Annelise liked how Remus wouldn’t pull away from the hug. A lot of people would have probably thought it uncomfortable, but she was honestly enjoying it. She liked the way she felt in his arms, and it just felt right. She was a small girl, so even though Remus was rather thin himself, he was still able to wrap himself around her comfortably. She sort of just wanted to stay there all day, and really, they had all day. It was still only Sunday morning after all.
"Where'd you like to go?"
She really didn’t know. “Where is there really to go on a date around here? Unless we took a walk around Hogsmeade and just drifted in and out of stores,” she suggested with somewhat of a shrug, still very close to Remus, still resting in his arms. “I mean… I don’t really know about where there is. If you have a better idea in mind, I’m open to suggestions.” She paused momentarily, thinking about whether she should elaborate. She decided she may as well. Why not, right? “I’ve never even been to Hogsmeade, so I don’t think I’ll be much help.”
Really, she never saw the point in going to Hogsmeade. She didn’t have best friends to run around with there, and when it came to Christmas, she always ordered things for her family instead. Since third year since she was allowed to go, she had just never really bothered. Honestly, she was somewhat curious about it due to everyone returning with fun things and lots of stories, but she didn’t want to go with her kind-of-friends. She wanted to go with people who she knew she could have good conversation with all day. Really, she didn’t care where she went with Remus. She didn’t even care if they just sat under a tree next to the lake just chatting if he was up for it; as long as she could spend time with him.
“Don’t forget, you still have to get around to teaching me how to create a Patronus,” she gently teased. She wasn’t going to let him forget about that simply because they suddenly were open about liking each other. It was still her goal, and she was determined to be able to do it. She was very intrigued about Patronuses being able to pass messages. How neat would it be if she and Remus could pass messages to each other between their common rooms, especially because the Gryffindor one and the Hufflepuff one were so far away from each other. It wasn’t really necessary, but she did think it would be cool. She could imagine her Housemates being jealous. She had a bunch of different ideas about the Patronuses, although she knew she was getting ahead of herself. She just felt really great at that moment, and anything seemed possible to her then and there. Word count: 476

It was almost silly how well they seemed to fit in each other's arms, it seemed almost natural that they held each other, and strange that they hadn't done it before. He listened quietly as Annelise related to him that there weren't many options, but that she'd never been in Hogsmeade before. "I could give you a first Hogsmeade tour. Or, well, the weather's kind of cold, still, but we could always raid the kitchens and picknick if it's sunnier out," he suggested with a warm twinkle in his eye. Remus couldn't care less where they went, actually, as long as Annelise was with him, he was sure to enjoy himself.
"Don’t forget, you still have to get around to teaching me how to create a Patronus." Remus chuckled softly. "I won't forget, of course I won't." He smiled slightly, pulled away a little further, letting go of her now, and picked up his wand from the floor where it had fallen. Remus couldn't remember, but apparently the thing had slipped from his fingers at some point. "Care to try again?" He was about to comment 'I'm sure you have a happy memory now, right?' but stopped himself - Remus wasn't that certain of his kissing abilities.
Slowly, the prior events started actually settling in Remus' mind. He had kissed the girl he liked and everything was still okay - or, actually: better. He was going to have to tell Sirius about this (and boast).. or maybe not, maybe later, maybe keep it a secret and enjoy the memory in secret for a little while longer, before Sirius could make some sexist comment about it and ask him when he was planning to shag her. Remus was not planning to shag her, not any time soon. He was planning to take her on a date, and maybe kiss some more, he'd liked that and so had she. Remus wasn't comfortable with taking off his clothes around her, and he was quite sure she wasn't that sort of girl either (which he was glad for).

"I could give you a first Hogsmeade tour. Or, well, the weather's kind of cold, still, but we could always raid the kitchens and picnic if it's sunnier out.”
Annelise smiled at his indecisiveness. In her mind, it showed that he didn’t care just as much as she did, and that he just wanted to spend time with her as well. She imagined both possibilities in her head. The tour would be nice, for she was always curious about Hogsmeade, and she thought it would give them something to talk about if conversation lacked (which it rarely did), but then again, the picnic seemed very romantic, although other students could freely watch their date from afar. As strange as it sounded, she knew there were students at Hogwarts who would do exactly that. Namely Rita Skeeter.
“We could always do both,” she suggested, not wanting to look away from him. She hoped she wasn’t coming on too strong, or like she was trying to monopolize all of his time, but she really wasn’t opposed to either idea that he had suggested. If she didn’t suggest it, she knew that she’d hate herself for it. “They both sound like great ideas.”
Annelise felt overly excited. First kiss, first date. The only thing that was missing was ‘first boyfriend’ but she wasn’t going to push it. She knew to only take things one step at a time. She didn’t want to rush things anyways. If they were going to attempt a relationship, the last thing she wanted to do was do it wrong. There was something special about Remus, and she wasn’t willing to lose it. Well, not that they were technically in a relationship, but it was wishful thinking. She couldn’t’ imagine how silly she’d feel if she felt this strongly about Remus only for it to end before it even began. Not that she wasn’t going to act like herself, either; she didn’t want someone to like her for who they thought she was. Besides, they had been getting to know each other anyways beforehand: they already knew quite a bit about each other. It must mean that he liked her for her, right? Because as far as she could see, she liked Remus for who he was, and she found him interesting.
Remus pulled away, and as much as Annelise didn’t want him to, she knew that they couldn’t stand there embracing each other forever. That would be weird. He picked up his wand and asked her if she wanted to try again. Of course she did. At least he didn’t make an awkward comment to leave, which for some reason she half-expected him to do. As much as an optimist she believed herself to be, everyone always had their pessimistic sides too. It was normal.
Annelise pulled out her wand. She very much doubted that she had to tell Remus what she’d be thinking of this time when she tried. She concentrated on his touch, his taste. Since it was only moments ago, she was able to visualize it perfectly. She raised her wand exclaimed, “Expecto Patronum!”
This time, the wisp of silver that came from the end of her wand began to form itself into a shape. She continued to think of Remus against her, his hands on her hips, and it began to form some more. It formed into a very vague shape of something that had four legs. It wasn’t clear exactly what it was, but it was there for several seconds before disappearing due to Annelise’s lack of focus. She turned to Remus excitedly. “I did it! Well, sort of, but close!”
Annelise was grinning from ear to ear. It wasn’t even close to being what Remus could produce, and she was far from producing a corporeal Patronus, but it was undeniably an improvement. As of yet, Remus only improved her life. She had a friend, a tutor and a date, and he was being extremely successful at all of them. Well, she wasn’t sure about the latter quite yet, but she was sure he would be a lovely date as well. Word count: 659

Word count: 492 (without codes and quotes) Remus had considered the fact that other students would see them and although the idea, initially, made him nervous, eventually he could imagine being more comfortable with it and, actually, being proud of showing his affections in public. Besides.. there was little to be done, the school was like a tiny village where everyone seemed to know and see everyone. Unless they only met in the Room of Requirements or stole away under James' invisibility cloak, Remus was quite sure that someone was bound to see them together at some point. So be it, really, he wasn't ashamed - Annelise wasn't someone to be ashamed of. He nodded at her suggestion to maybe do both. Remus agreed with her that both the ideas would be nice to execute at some point. (Though, the sooner the better.) "We could let the weather decide - having a picknick in the rain is no fun, I suppose," he said with a slight chuckle, though it was a tad nervous. He didn't want to push her, either, but then again he really wanted to, well, be with her and do things. Next weekend would be a Hogsmeade weekend, but would that be too soon? He didn't want to be too hasty and push her away. Sirius, of course, was always hasty and he got what he wanted, but then again Sirius never seemed to want a long term relationship sort of thing and Remus did (and hoped that Annelise did too). But he was getting ahead of himself.. Remus had to admit that the best advice Sirius had given him was not to think, and that was going to be exactly what he was going to do now. Just focus on now. Now was good. When they had both pulled away from the embrace, Remus watched Annelise closely, very curious as to how her patronus would manifest itself this time. He didn't expect a full corporeal patronus (that would be a miracle), but he did mentally flatter himself with the idea that he would be her happiest memory - once again. He didn't say it, but he just.. sort of hoped it. He almost tensed as she said the words, smiling slightly as he saw the silver expand more than last time. It wasn't just a wisp, it became a vague sort of shape. Remus couldn't see what it was exactly, probably a mammal with four legs? Who cared? It was there, that was all that counted. "I did it! Well, sort of, but close!" Remus grinned widely. "You did do it. I think it's just a matter of practise now. Au contraire to popular belief, after a while the, eh, memory becomes easier to summon and then the charm comes easier, too," he said, not even trying to keep out of his voice that he was proud of her. "So what do you think it was?" Maybe Annelise had recognised something in that vague image, after all.

“We could let the weather decide - having a picnic in the rain is no fun, I suppose."
Annelise nodded in agreement. “Or the snow. But it’s beginning to warm up anyways… well, sort of. It’s still a little chilly, but I’m sure we could dress warmly either way.” She was getting excited talking about their upcoming date. She honestly wanted it to be tomorrow, but knew that most likely wasn’t going to happen. Annelise had the problem of wanting something, and when she wanted it, she wanted it right then and there. She supposed she did have him at that moment, but it wasn’t really the same. At that point in time, they were mixing social and tutoring. Half of her focus was chatting with him, while the other half was actually trying to get something accomplished. She was excited to have uninterrupted time with him, with no tutoring involved whatsoever. She honestly just hoped someone wouldn’t be miserable and try to ruin it for her in some way, like thinking it would be funny to just drop in.
“I’m rather excited for whatever we do,” she admitted, looking at him fondly. She enjoyed being honest for she found it typically had yielded better results than either lying or just holding back from saying something. Besides, most of what she had to say was positive anyways, even when it came to people she didn’t like. She was aware of the fact she was probably boosting Remus’ ego through the roof, but she didn’t care. He didn’t seem full of himself by any means, so it wasn’t like she was inflating what was already an over-inflated ego, like if she constantly complimented James Potter or Sirius Black. As far as she was aware, Remus’ way of thinking of himself was average. She doubted that he hated himself, but he also wasn’t practically in love with himself.
When he asked her what it was, she had to think about it. All she could tell was that it was a somewhat large mammal. She merely shrugged, but smiled widely all the same.
“I honestly have no clue,” she said with a laugh. “I don’t even care at the moment! All that matters is that I got something, right? You didn’t catch what it was, did you?”
Annelise was rather hoping that he did, for she was indeed a bit curious. She wouldn’t hold it against him if he didn’t, though, for she couldn’t blame him. It was extremely vague and held hardly any shape, so it wouldn’t be his fault. She couldn’t help but not look away from her companion. It was almost like she was trying to preserve every facial expression that he made. Most people attempted for their face to look a certain way when they smiled, or thought. He didn’t seem to do so. It just added another thing to Annelise’s mental list about things that were genuine about him.

He laughed softly. "Yes, or the snow - sitting on a quilt would be rather uncomfortable, then," Remus admitted. He smiled at her warmly when she looked at him like that (he just felt warm all over all of a sudden, and not due to embarrassment) and nodded at her comment. "Me too," he softly said, stopping himself from half-reaching for her hand. If she asked, Remus would drop the tutoring at that instant and just socialise with her (which he very much wanted to do), but as she had also come down here to learn something and seemed to be improving with leaps and bounds today, he didn't want to interrupt her learning process, either. As for Remus' self-confidence, she was certainly boosting it. It needed a little boosting, for as Annelise thought that Remus did not hate himself, that was a misconception. Remus did not hate himself all the time. He accepted himself, usually, and was constantly striving to be the best sort of person he could be. That was the only way he could accept himself in the first place, but there were certainly times when he had weak moments and couldn't help but hate his nature. Not himself as a person, necessarily, as he had sculpted that into the polite, nice, caring, patient person he wanted to be, but it was himself as a being he sometimes despised. Those moments were prone to be short, though, and usually private, as Remus would seek solitude at such a moment, too afraid to show that weakness. That was also one thing that made him pensive: they always say you need to love yourself before you can love another, but Remus was more than sure that he could never ever love himself. In his eyes, acceptance was as good as it was going to get.
Annelise also didn't seem to know what it was, well, they'd have to wait a little longer, then. "I don’t even care at the moment! All that matters is that I got something, right? You didn’t catch what it was, did you?" He grinned and nodded, his grin fading to a gentle smile as he nodded again. "Absolutely true. I didn't see what it was either, though." He smiled a tad wider. "We'll see soon enough, I'm sure." He caught Annelise's eyes with his for a moment and felt a surge of nerves rush through him before settling. How had he ever deserved this?

“Well, it shouldn’t matter anyways, it hasn’t snowed in ages,” Annelise said, grinning, feeling as if the weather just wanted everything to work out for the two of them. “I think our only obstacle is the cold, which can always be overcome.”
It felt to her like nothing could go wrong. She felt as if she could wake up tomorrow and it would be twenty degrees with the sun shining and just enough breeze that to be comfortable. That they’d be able to have a picnic after classes, maybe around dusk so they could watch the sun set together, and then on the weekend they could go to Hogsmeade, and the weather would be stunningly perfect there as well, but maybe with a slight chill so he’d put his arm around her to keep her warm. She had a vivid imagination, and knew that her daydreams weren’t at all likely, but she could hope, right?
She smiled mostly to herself when he said that he was excited too. How likely would it be that two people would meet and they’d both like each other about an equal amount? It seemed too good to be true, but she liked it. She didn’t have the worry that perhaps things would go wrong just because they were going so right at the moment. She didn’t believe in all that luck what goes up has to come down sort of stuff. Annelise was a little disappointed that he hadn’t caught what she had created, either. She tried again, but was only able to make the same vague shape. She sighed, and put her wand in her waist band of her jeans.
“Break time?” she suggested, walking over to the table and chairs like the day before, this time a plate of brownies appeared, along with Butterbeer once again. She took one, and began chewing on it, waiting for Remus to sit with her. The brownies were perfect, and she felt as if she should reward the house elves somehow for doing it. It was one of the rules of wizarding that food could not just appear out of thin air, and that it had to have come from somewhere. The only logical spot it could come from was the kitchens.

Word count: 407 Remus nodded slightly. "Yes, pity though, I sort of love the snow. It's the only enjoyable thing about winter." Well, the cold wasn't so bad either, it was just that Remus hated the fact the nights lengthened and the damp coldness of the castle sometimes settled in his joint. He half shook his head at himself; he sounded like an old man. "Yes, I'm sure we should be able to survive through a bit of cold," he said, agreeing with a nod and smiling. As a matter of fact, the mere thought of Annelise with him on a date warmed him up instantly, but Remus didn't mention it. As much as he wanted to show his affection, he didn't want to sound sappy or overly romantic. Not that Remus was one of those boys who were afraid to show their feelings, in fact, he was quite fond of the Brontë sisters and the occasional Austen, but reading romantic novels and declaring your love to someone tête-à-tête, that were two completely different things. He would learn and grow into it, though, it would just take a little time. He couldn't wait to do things with her other than tutoring with her and when she had produced another vague patronus and suggested a break, he was eager to nod. Yes, he was quite ready for a break from tutoring and just spending time with her. Remus had the strange feeling that spending time with Annelise would never bore him. Walking over to the table, he smiled at the appearance of brownies. He and his friends had gone to the kitchens often to obtain those, they were finger-licking good. In fact, Remus feared Peter might need rehab after, because he was simply addicted to them. Remus sat down in the chair next to Annelise, smiled at her, and took one of the chocolaty things, humming in appreciation softly when he took a bite. He felt the need for conversation, but wasn't quite sure what to say. Eventually, he settled for: "Have to admit that I've never been so glad, in retrospect, to be bumped into by someone falling down a flight of stairs." He smiled Annelise gently and helped himself to some butterbeer, pulling one of his legs onto the chair as he drank it, just enjoying sitting there next to her with no chance of anyone interrupting.

Annelise half-watched as he sat down in the chair next to her and began to hum as he ate a brownie. She wondered if this was quirk of his. She was indifferent either way of if it was or not, but she was curious. She liked learning people's quirks, and she kept this logged in her head to write in her journal later. She hadn't bothered to bring her notebook, mainly due to the fact that she couldn't risk him seeing how much she had been writing about him lately. Mostly lately she had been putting her thoughts into the Pensieve which she just left in the Room of Requirements, and looked at them later so she could record them in her journal, disposing of the memory afterwards. However, she had been so been so busy lately between classes, homework and tutoring lessons that a few memories at a time had been accumulating.
She smiled and blushed lightly at his comment. "I have to agree, other than the fact that everyone seemed to have stared at the time."
Annelise still didn't know why everyone had thought it was a big deal when she had fell into him, and still apparently did. "Do you have any idea why people seem to giggle every time I talk to you in class and such?" Annelise asked, suddenly and bluntly. She had been curious for a while now, and couldn't figure out why. She could simply lean over and ask Remus for something, and there wsa always one or two girls who seemed to look at each other and giggle; and occasionally a boy would too. She very much doubted that Remus was telling everyone that he liked her by any means. It had started even more Remus knew he liked her, really.
The only people who didn't seem to giggle or make comments were Remus' friends. Well, she could swear that Sirius had a glint of humour or knowing in his eyes, but he didn't flinch literally every time the two conversed. It made her think that there was some sort of rumour or another, which she was somewhat worried about. She found couples who always had rumours attacking them were never quite as happy as the ones without: probably just simply due to the drama. Word count: 400
