Sirius black, upside down and at his mercy. It was a nice feeling. One he could get used to very easily. hmm..what to do with him now...Drown him in gravy? Boil his head in the teapots? It needed to make up for the constant torture he'd been through up to now and the humiliation of this latest incident, now dubbed "The mash incident" by his mind.
A strange sound came to his ears. Laughter. were they laughing at him? Or at the school's arrogant prankster-cum-bully, upside down and awaiting the judgemnet of one Severus Snape. Surely it was with him and not at the continual jibes. Though when he heard Black make such blase comments about his nose....
He clenched his fist, a vein in his temple throbbing as anger took hold. He needed to stay calm...He forced it all back down. A taks made easier by the sight of Black's arrogant face slowly turning redder and redder and redder. Soon he would be unconscious and then if he kept him there long enough...dead. And then there were three.
One of the three had taken exception to his punishment of Black. Let them try to convince him. hm...That wand jabbing his side was a good start actually. NO! He should make Potter beg.
He turned to the gryffindor he'd hated since first year and lowered his wand. The 'charm' revealed itself to be nothing of the sort as Black stayed hanging.
"Look Potter. No hands. " this he said loudly enough for anyone to hear. The next part however was said to Potter in the same low tone he had used. "Beg me then. It's the least you can do."

He clenched his teeth against his temper. When Snivelly lowered his wand he had hoped he was backing down, though part of him was disappointed. But that wasn't the case. With the wand lowered, Sirius still hung there. Charms and spells flipped by in his head, trying to figure out the spell he used so he could counter it. Clearly it was some sort of anti-gravity, levitation charm that was probably similar to wingardium leviosa, only more advanced than that first year level. Though that was used mainly for objects. He didn't know if it worked on people or not. It was probably a variation of it, one that he could figure out given enough time.
But here and now he didn't have the time, nor the patience. When Snivelly told him to 'beg' he saw red. Fighting hard not to let loose. Afraid if he did he would actually hurt Snivelly physically in front of everyone, something that would get him more than detention, expelled. And though to him it would be worth it, it would kill any chance with Lily and most importantly it could get others expelled to. Not just Him, but possibly Remus and Peter if they joined in, which no doubt they would. Speaking of which, where were they? Were they still over there comfortably eating dessert? Why weren't they over here helping? He didn't chance a glance in their direction.
He laughed, then leaned in close to Snivelly's ear, the smile from the laughter gone and replaced by a threatening scowl. His wand digging deeper into the side and glowing red, as heat from the tip of it seeped through the clothing layer to the skin underneath. "Tell you what Snivelly... you let him down and I won't blast your greasy arse across the room." A thought occurred to him that an unconscious Snape maybe the ticket. He wouldn't be able to keep the charm going if he were knocked out. He glanced at Sirius, hoping that if he did knockout Snivelly, that the charm would stop and that Sirius wouldn't land on his head.
word count 351 question: If it comes to violence ... don't want to 'God mode' so let me know what is acceptable ... as in if I post for instance James disarms you or sends you across the room is that ok?

Sirius honestly did want to keep his cool. He was very proud of the fact that James was coming to his aid, but was rather annoyed by the fact that Remus and Peter were not. Did Remus perhaps think that Sirius deserved it, and therefore just let him stay there? Did Peter not have the bravery? Whatever the reason, the humour was immediately out when James started threatening Snape. Sirius could not hear what James was saying, but he could tell by the look on his best mate's face. You don't become practically family to someone and not be able to read their facial expressions.
Sirius could feel his pulse pounding in his head. It was becoming a bit overwhelming hanging upside down with no immediate help. He knew either one of three things were going to happen: 1. He was going to pass out, 2. He was going to puke or 3. someone would let him down. Unfortunately, he doubted the latter would happen, and one of those things felt more imminent than the other and before he knew it...
"Whehjfwejfoijeffffffghhhh!" was what the supposed sound that came out of Sirius' mouth was when he threw up all of his stomach contents onto everyone below him, including Snivelly, but also somewhat including James, and many people sitting at the Slytherin table. Most of the Great Hall erupted into laughter, but it wasn't what Sirius had intended to do, and he honestly felt bad for what he had done to James. It was just what happens to those who eat a lot, and fast, and then get turned on their heads. In fact, as he looked, he noticed he could see out bits of chicken in his vomit. Not that he was going to point it out, of course, not when his best friend had been vomited on as well. Word count: 320 [/size]
