Make-up, hair, costume and shoes. Dorcas was ready. Her little purse was by the front door and she was all dressed up for the Halloween Party that was going to be hosted at the Leaky Cauldron. One last look in the mirror, a quick check of her hair to make sure it was all in place and she decided it was time to leave.
Grabbing her purse and making sure she had her wand on her, Dorcas disapperated from inside her house to a safe apperating point in Diagon alley. She came out and saw plenty of people dressed up and heading towards the leaky cauldron. It was going to be a night of festivities and plenty of drinking, that was for sure.
With most of her hair up, Dorcas found the one strand that was down to be a bit of an irritating nuisance, however she left it and tried to ignore it as the cold wind made it dance across her chest. There was nothing she could do about it anyway, but she would remember in the future not to style her hair like this again, that was for sure but in all fairness, the hair did add to her look of being a vampire, and a very sexy one too in her opinion with the corset top done up with red lace in the front, slightly parted so you could see up her stomach and the edges of her breasts, her skirt was small and sparkled magically with red lights, Dorcas had loved the outfit the second she had seen it in a shop which was unusual for Dorcas as usually she made her own costumes and outfits.
Heading into the leaky Dorcas couldn't see anyone she recognised, but the place was packed with all sorts of people in all sorts of costumes and so she wasn't too worried, besides, she knew she could always find herself a new friend for the night, maybe a handsome young fellow with a great body. Chills ran down Dorcas' spine as she headed to the bar, looking about and spotting a few fairly good looking blokes. Tonight was going to be a blast.

She hadn't planned on going out tonight, after the week she had had with one of her new shops she hadn't felt like going but after none stop floo calls off one of her girl friends she had finally caved, it was like her friends said, she should go out and have some fun, she deserved it. So it was with only her wand, which she had tucked in a hidden pocket on her left hip and a pouch of galleons that Emmeline set off to meet her group of friends at the leaky cauldron and if she was honest with herself she owuld say she was excited. She wasn't thinking about honesty right now though she was more worried about the fact that people could see her knees. Ever since she was a teenager Emmeline had hated her knees, she thought them to be flabby and horrible to look at, she usually went to great lengths to keep them out of sight but tonight so had agreed to wear the outfit she chose on a whim during a girls day out, and her knees where on show, along with a whole lot of more leg. Resisting the urge to tug down at her dress Emmeline pushed though the crowd at the pubs doors, she needed a drink before she even had the urge to socialize and once she had had her drink she planned to have a lot more followed by a night of dancing and hopefully she would have a good time. Pushing her way to the bar she turned her attention to the people either side of her while she waited for someone to sever her. Comment: sorry not really opening a conversation there but here is the OUTFIT

He started forward as people entered. He was usually fashionably late, but today he had come earlier. He parted his lips and looked up at the ceiling when he heard people start to come in. He adjusted his hood so it covered his face, or at the very least, shadowed it. He was his worst enemy. A werewolf and vampire in his books, never got along, but here he was dressed up as one. A smirk on his face as he stood up, eyes running the length of the leaky cauldron. Then he saw two girls each with female vampire like costumes. He smirked under his hood and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed his chest. That was when he took off his hood and let the world see his face. Although he already had the Japanese look from his mother's side, he now had added eye-liner to his look, and had straighten his shaggy hair to the point that he looked like a emo vampire. Smirking he kicked off the wall and in his lumbering steps made his way to a sit next to a pretty little girl at the bar.
As he walked he slipped a foot or two out to trip over people before laughing darkly and moving on. When he sat down, he turned to flirt to the girl and as he did, she got up and left him. Spitting curses out of his mouth under his breath, he turned to see another girl he had only seen a few times in the past. Shrugging, he stood up and looked at her. Dorcas Meadows. "My, my, my. How's it go there Meadows. It's been a while hasn't it." His voice was deep and seductive, but he kept his eyes on the girl before him. A charming grin on his face as he flopped down onto his seat again and ordered a glass of their strongest. To many people giving him a headache at the moment anyways.

Dorcas made it to the bar and in one piece too. There were a couple of guys that had grabbed her arse but she had paid it barely any attention. She'd just got on with cursing their own arses rather than getting into a fist fight, and with so many people around, a fist fight was exactly the sort of mood she could easily slip into. Along with getting up on the bar and stripping or pole dancing, or a combination of both, though in all reality, she wasn't waring too much to begin with. Still, she was probably going to lose her head tonight, either in a good way or a very bad way but she was hoping the good way, that would be far more fun.
Ordering her drink from the bar Dorcas heard a voice beside her. She turned her head and her face went from curiosity to a memorable smirk. Lindsay Greyback. What a little charmer he had turned out to be. She'd never really paid him too much attention as she wasn't one for liking too many people in her own house, but he'd actually turned out to be quite a looking fellow and she remembered thinking that at the end of their sixth year and again at the beginning of their seventh.
"If you class four months as a while then yeah, I suppose so." She said, paying the bartender and then quickly checking Lindsay out. He was much cuter now than he had been in school, she was sure of it. It was funny how school uniforms made you look so very different to what you looked like in normal clothing. If you could call dressing up in costumes for Hallowe'en normal, which she supposed you couldn't really, but it was better than any sort of school uniform, that was for sure.
"Tell me, what are you supposed to be, Greyback?" Dorcas wondered how people around them would go with hearing the name 'Greyback' out loud. It was a surname associated with the infamous Fenrir Greyback and all though his offspring were their own persons with their own right to chose between good or bad, it still seemed that in this day and age with so many death occurring and so very little fun, that anyone with the name 'Greyback' would be looked upon with caution and distrust.

Waldemar could not be called a party animal, or at least: not yet. He simply hadn't gotten enough practise in his younger teenage years to work up the stamina needed for a whole night of drinking, dancing, and (if you got lucky) shagging. Still, he'd had some practise with Dorcas at her place and he knew she be here again tonight, plus, well, his life was a bit boring at the moment so a party might liven it up. He had been holding back a little the last time he'd gone out drinking with Dorcas, as it had been his first time to go on a pubcrawl (yes, ladies and gentlemen: a virgin in more than one way!), but he had resolved that tonight, he would have fun, and to hell with things. If he got drunk, who cared? Well, he wasn't going to. After going out for the first time, he realised it wasn't so bad as he'd thought. It wasn't all beer drinking truck drivers, puking out everything in their stomach every once in a while before drinking on. There had been pretty nice (pretty good-looking) people, they'd had a lot of fun - Waldemar was sure he could repeat that tonight. Plus, Dorcas never seemed to care if she got shitfaced drunk - maybe he should give it a try.
So yeah - halloween. That required a costume. Knowing Dorcas, she'd probably be showing more skin than she had covered (something Waldemar strangely admired her for), but he wasn't into that, really. He had walked into a random muggle costume store and asked for something that would fit him, and the girl behind the counter had given him something that.. well. It fit him. And it didn't make him look like a manwhore. He just had no idea what he was supposed to be! The label inside said 'police officer uniform', so he guessed it was just something muggle and shrugged, paid, and left. This would do. Maybe there would be some halfbloods or muggleborns around who did recognise what he was. Waldemar didn't care, he just wanted to have fun tonight.
When he walked into the Leaky Cauldron he was greeted by the sound of music, laughing, and general happy chaos and.. quite some interesting smells. Oh well, it was a party very unlike his mother's garden get-togethers. Can't expect it to smell like roses. He looked around briefly and didn't spot Dorcas at once, but he guessed he'd run into her at some point and made for the bar. He could do with a drink to start. That, plus the chances he'd run into Dorcas near the bar were pretty substantial.
