Sheba looked around the deserted faculty lounge. She guessed all the other staff were either doing their jobs or patrolling the castle. She on the other hand had some free time. She did not have to patrol the corridors in search of tardy students, she did not have to fix up a lesson plan, there was no need to mark any homework yet and she didn't have a lesson to teach. Ancient runes wasn't a big class, which was something she was grateful for. She'd hate to have the job of Aurora, Minerva, Horace or any of the other main stream teachers, she also wouldn't be able to stand Poppy's job either, or Irma's and Filch? Well he was just an old grouch if ever there was one. Still, she'd hate to be in his position.
No, all in all Sheba was very much happy with her position at Hogwarts and all though it meant it was going to be hard to find a man, she somewhat had decided not too long ago that maybe a man in her life would just be a curse. A man for a relationship of course, not her father or male friends of colleagues of course and there was no chance she was going to be hooking up with Albus or Horace or Argus. Yeuck. Just the thought made the blonde scrinkle up her nose in disgust. Not one of her kinder thoughts to herself.
Heading over to one of the cushiony seats, Sheba sat herself down and crossed her legs. She felt like having a cup of coffee but found herself too lazy just yet to go and get one. Instead she flipped o[en the woman's weekly she had walked in with and started reading through it. Absolute tosh it was, as always and of course Sheba knew that, but still she was intrigued for whatever reason. Probably because the celebrities in the magazine had far more exciting lives than her, but then again, most of the students had a far more exciting time than her.

Contrary to Sheba, Dimitri did have essays to grade and lesson plans to set up - even if he didn't have patrolling duty at this moment. Yet, as much as he liked his rooms and office, he preferred to do it in the teacher's lounge, because although he was a hard worker, there were those days when he tended to get distracted (for example when looking up a reference in a student's essay), and before he knew it, there would hardly be any work done. Today was one of those days and thus he walked into the teacher's lounge with his arms stacked with papers and his reading glasses forgotten in his hair.
He nodded to Sheba in greeting, first putting all the essays on the table in neat stacks, before stretching a little uncomfortably. Who would've thought that parchment could be heavy? Then again, it wasn't like he was muscular to begin with! He was going to need something to keep him alert, so he walked over to the pots of coffee and tea, charmed to stay warm. "Coffee?" he asked, quietly, because he'd noticed Bathsheba was reading and he didn't want to disturb her unnecessarily. Of course, they had been working together at Hogwarts for several years, but that didn't mean they were immensely close friends. Dimitri didn't know why, maybe because they just never got past the 'basic' talk of 'how are you?' and 'Merlin, have your students been pestering you too lately?'. It wasn't that he was being unfriendly, was he? Maybe Bathsheba just didn't feel she needed any close friends in the workplace. All of the teachers pretty much got along, in a professional way, maybe he should just be glad for that. What did Dimitri know about the way professors were supposed to treat each other? Nothing, really. He'd worked here for several years and that was his only experience. He didn't even want to think about the teachers and their relationships in his old school.
[Sorry, it's a tad short, Dim's just being a little shy because he's so very excited I brought him back, but that'll change soon P:]

Sheba was sat contently in the staff room reading her magazine. She flicked past more pages than she actually read, but she stopped on a page about a mother witch of a squib talking about her precious her son was, even if he couldn't do magic. It was a topic that interested Sheba greatly as her parents had feared that she would have been a squib too, but alas she was not and she was most grateful for that too. As much as she had loved all the non-magical ways of being involved in the wizarding world, being able to actually flick a wand and have something happen was a great joy for someone in her position, someone that was raised through the possibility that she might never do true magic, something most witches and wizards took for granted.
Looking up at the sound of someone's foot steps, Sheba saw Dimitri walk into the staff room. She smiled and gave a small wave as he nodded in her direction. True she wasn't that close to a lot of the teachers and Dimitri was one of them. Though she wasn't rude or anything to him, at least she didn't think she was, but they exchanged pleasantries which was nice enough she thought, and who knew? A friendship might well just blossom if they actually talked about something other than school work. Maybe he'd ask her out on a date one night, or maybe the'd go for drinks at Hogsmeade or maybe they'd just end up hating one another for whatever reason. Sheba didn't know because she didn't know Dimitri.
Sheba went back to reading her article when she heard Dimitri ask if she wanted coffee. She looked up and nodded her head with another smile. "Yes please." She said somewhat quickly and quirkily, her eyebrows peaking up. "Coffee would be good." she said in a somewhat definitive tone, closing her magazine. Maybe she could help Dimitri with his work load, she wasn't sure how but she could offer, but she wasn't very keen on that idea. She didn't want to work if she didn't have to, now was her spare time. "You look like you have a lot of work to be doing." She said as though there was more to come, but there wasn't. It was a statement and she wasn't going to add any more to it because she didn't feel it was necessary.

Silvanus had let his class out early, as it was a Friday, and besides, who wanted to be in class on a Friday? It was all upper-year students anyways, they most likely could keep themselves out of trouble for the fifteen minutes that he had let them out early. Besides, half of the Slytherin-side of the class had skipped anyways. They were such trouble-makers, and Silvanus couldn't help but find them anything else but amusing. Some scawny kid had wanted extra help, but Silvanus had pushed him off, claiming that he was now 'off-duty until Monday.'
Silvanus continued through the corridors, effectively ignoring every student and every Professor over the age of 45. He sauntered into the staff room, and stopped quickly when he noticed he wasn't alone. He checked his watch quickly. Since when was there staff in here at this hour? He came in every day at this time just to avoid the others. He looked at his two companions and decided that they didn't seem old enough to be one of the Professors who were going to give him a hard time, so he loosened up again and headed over to the pot of coffee - which was currently in Dimitri's hand.
"Don't mind if I snag that off you now do you?" Silvanus inquired. Without waiting for an answer, he snagged the pot of coffee and poured himself a cup on the counter. He looked over his shoulder at Sheba and called over, "Can I offer you a cup as well?"
He honestly hadn't bothered to ask Dimitri if he'd like one, as he had mistakenly assumed that Dimitri had already got himself some. Without waiting for Sheba's answer, he poured her a cup anyways, then handed it to her and sat on the couch. He took a long swig of his own before looking up over the cup at everyone else, expectantly, waiting for them to continue whatever conversation they were having before.

[Yay, professor group orgie topic! xD]
Dim smiled back at Sheba, though seemed a little distracted. Very probably because he still had to set up his lesson plan for the extracurricular class he was giving - he hadn't even started yet, he had barely collected the literature he wanted to include! He half smiled at himself. Calm down. Start with coffee, that was always a good start, even if he preferred tea when it came to flavour. She had just answered his question in the affirmative when Silvanus walked, no barged in and started speaking to him without warning. "Don't mind if I snag that off you now do you?" Dimitri blinked for a moment. "Eh-" Apparently, that was enough answer for his colleague, as he soon found the coffee pot in Silvanus' hand, pouring coffee for himself and Sheba. "Sure," he said, just for the sake of saying something and shot the ceiling a look that seemed to mean 'some people are just rude..'. He would've shot that look at Sheba, but who knew, maybe she found that sort of thing 'suave' or whatnot. It wasn't that he was a pushover. Well, not a total pushover, at least. Dimitri could handle a class of hormonal teenagers - even on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. Peers, though - he didn't always like that. At least not the ones like Silvanus, who were unprofessional and rude to boot. Oh well - it wasn't his decision who ought to be fired. It was Dumbledore's.
As they were now out of coffee after Silvanus had poured the other two adults in the room two rather royal cups, Dimitri moved to get himself some tea, instead. Probably for the best. After all, coffee wasn't that good for you. Cup in hand, Dimitri sat down, carefully, as not to spill hot water all over his students' essays. "You look like you have a lot of work to be doing." Dim looked up at Shabe, expecting there to be some sort of conclusion to that statement, but it never came. "Oh, well-" He shrugged and smiled a little. "It's not that much work. I can cope. It's just that I decided on a whim to organise an extra-curricular course this year, so I still have to get that in order as soon as possible." Sipping his tea and grinning to himself a little, he returned: "You look like you don't have a lot of work to be doing." He wasn't envious, not at all. Dimitri loved his job and was actually quite curious what his thirdyears had managed to make of their essays about preventive measures against intruders using animals (either dead or alive). Some of his students could be refreshingly creative and that made his job all the more worthwhile.

Coffee was coming. To Sheba it didn't matter how, the fact she was going to be getting coffee was a 'Yay!' in her mind, though not one she would ever express unless it was something far more exciting than coffee. Like shoes or a new top. Then she might show some signs of being excited about what was coming to her, but for coffee she would just keep it all in her head. Especially as Silvanus walked in. Sheba chuckled to herself in her head, the place most of her conversations took place. Silvanus. What a funny name. It had Anus in it. Then again she had Bath in her name. But Anus was certainly funnier. Not that she was going to say that out loud, but it got her to thinking about other names. Dimitri. That was nice and exotic compared to all the British names. Aurora. That sounded really pretty though a bit stupid to say. Poppy. Well, you wouldn't want to replace the second 'p' with an 'o' or you'd get Poopy and Poppy probably wouldn't stand for that. Crazy thoughts.
"Indeed." She said to Anus as he grabbed her a cup of coffee and came over with it. She took the steamy beverage from his hands and peered into it. She was glad she was not a student accepting a drink from Silvanus because otherwise she might just not drink it and possibly take it to Slughorn to see if there was a date rape drug in there or something. Not that she thought Silvanus couldn't get a girl or that he had ever done that, but he had been known to supposedly play about with some of the older students. Bathsheba could see why. He was quite an attractive man and those girls did develop early some of them and so by the time they reached sixteen or seventeen, they were already perfectly formed. Maybe he had an overly high sex drive. Sheba was certain he could probably find someone about his own age but he probably wouldn't want them. How old was he anyway? A reallly good 60 years old or maybe thirty? Well for all Bathsheba knew he could have been fresh out of Hogwarts at a ripe old age of twenty or something because really, she was terrible with ages. Though he'd been at the school as a teacher long enough to be over twenty. Hadn't he? She wasn't too sure, she didn't pay attention to how long people had been at the school.
"Thanks." She said in a chirppy sort of voice and took a sip of her coffee. It was coffee for sure, no need to panic about any sorts of toxic drugs or something, at least she didn't think there was a need to worry. She could be wrong, but she decided Silvanus wouldn't do anything in front of Dimitri. Possibly not anything to her at all. She might be too old for his liking. She wasn't sure and she wasn't going to be one for asking him about it either.
Dimitri made himself a tea while Silvanus sat himself down and then Dimitri sat down pretty soon after. Sheba sipped her black coffee and decided it could be stronger, but what more did she expect from the staff room coffee thingy that had probably been there since morning? Regardless of that, it wasn't the worst drink she'd ever had in her life nor the worst coffee. "No. I don't have any. I like to be prepared and keep up to date as quickly as possible." she said in a tone that would suggest that she thought she was better than Dimitri, but that wasn't at all how her mind worked. She had just never learnt to control how it was that she said things. She had no time to learn such things. Not even now while she was in the staff room with coffee and a magazine. "That way I have free time to do other things. Like nothing in particular. What extra-curricular course are you doing?" Sheba looked to Silvanus and wondered if that was how he lured girls to him, claiming it was all 'extra-curricular'. Maybe that was what Dimitri was doing? No, he didn't seem the sort. "What about you Silvanus? Any work to be doing?"

Silvanus drank his cup of coffee rather peacefully. He could tell it had been sitting around for a while and mused for how long. Was that a small growth in his coffee? Coffee shouldn't have growths, should they? Without saying anything to the other two, he merely put his cup on the table in front of himself. He wasn't about to drink something that would make him sick or something and send him to Pomfrey. He wasn't sure about how she felt about him, and wasn't sure he wanted to find out. She had the keys to his health, and if she didn't like him, well... he didn't want to discover any potential outcome.
Silvanus snorted when Dimitri said he was putting together an extra-curricular activity.
"Why in bloody hell would you do anything like that?" he asked with a laugh. "Why would you willingly spend more time with those brats?"
Silvanus chuckled as he looked at Sheba expectantly, as if he assumed she would laugh at the suggestion of willingly putting together an extra-curricular course as he had. Surely no one in their right mind would do such a thing? It's not like the older students would participate... it seemed like begging to spend time with a bunch of 11-14 year olds. Well, whatever floated Dimitri's boat, really...
Silvanus approved of the way Sheba apparently enjoyed doing, well, absolutely nothing. His sort of girl, really. He never spoke to her much before, but she was definitely warming up to him quickly. She didn't look too old either, which was always a bonus. He decided he wouldn't ask for her age... he had learned that was rude to do with anyone over the age of twenty; and it was doubtful that she was twenty or under.
Silvanus scoffed at the idea of having something to do.
"'Course not. I actually just let my last class early," he admitted, nonchalantly. "I already have to spend all my time here... last thing I'd want to do is spend more time with them."
He reached forward for his cup again, took a sip, and then remembered why he didn't want to drink it. He slowly spat the contents of his mouth back into his cup, hoping he looked like he was still drinking. Every drop of that retched coffee that touched his lips repulsed him, but he didn't want to go to the extent of grossing everyone in his presence out.

Dimitri listened to Silvanus and Bathsheba talking in silence, meanwhile dividing his piles of essays and books into the order in which he was planning to deal with them. Essays first - he should've checked them two days ago and didn't want to leave his pupils waiting for their grade much longer, especially as he always provided an opportunity to redo it, if he felt they could do better. Then go through the books one by one, make some notes of the contents of the relevant chapters, order these, make a lesson plan and make sure the needed chapters would be copied and available in the library. He liked to be thorough, he liked to be structured. As long as your life was structured, there was room for spontaneity. He tried not to consider Silvanus' ideas on spontaneity, nor his way of dealing with students. It wouldn't be the first time he'd get a little annoyed with his colleague. He didn't mean to, the man was just simply.. Dim couldn't understand why the man had become a teacher if he disliked his job so much. There was no word for it, Silvanus was a ублюдок. And no, Dimitri wasn't going to translate that.
"No. I don't have any. I like to be prepared and keep up to date as quickly as possible." Despite her tone, Dimitri smiled. No matter how proficient he hoped his English was, he could always misinterpret people. And besides, so what if she thought she was better than him - that was her opinion. Maybe Dimitri begged to differ or not. "Quite right," he agreed. "But sometimes things happen." He had spoken softly and she might not have heard him, especially as she continued. "That way I have free time to do other things. Like nothing in particular. What extra-curricular course are you doing?" He laughed softly. "I don't like doing nothing - hence the extra-curricular course. It's going to be on ghouls, specifically - charmeleon ghouls and such, you know. But I'm planning to also incorporate ghosts and poltergeists, seeing as they're sort of related." Dimitri shrugged a little. Silvanus thought it fit to loudly complain about how students were brats and that he couldn't believe Dimitri was doing this, and Dimitri, in turn, happily ignored him. He wasn't in the mood for this. "I thought it would be interesting," he continued, still addressing Sheba rather than Silvanus. "I've noticed some of the students are interested and there is this left over classroom in the Serpentine corridor that would be perfect." If he sounded overenthusiastic, Dimitri didn't care much. He loved his job.
"What about you Silvanus? Any work to be doing?" To be honest, Silvanus' answer didn't surprise Dimitri in the slightest. "'Course not. I actually just let my last class early. I already have to spend all my time here... last thing I'd want to do is spend more time with them." Dimitri sipped his tea quietly. He wasn't going to respond to this, it wasn't his businessm and he was even less in the mood to start the weekend with an argument.

Sheba sipped her coffe and swirled it around carefully in her mug. It wasn't too bad. there were no dead bugs in it or clumps of Hippogriff hair that might have fallen off of Silvanus while he poured it. Who knew what you could get from a Care of magical Creatures Professor. Perhaps even dung. But no, she was certain that the funny taste was just because it had been left standing and stewing all day, as it was customary to do around here because no one could be arsed changing it apart from the house elves and they didn't crop up until the end of the day so that they wouldn't be seen. Perhaps it might be worth mentioning to Albus, have the elves pop up at least once more a day, or find a magical way for them to replace bad coffee with good coffee. Or possibly send someone down to Hogsmeade and get some from Madam Puddifoot's in little take-away cups so that they would retain their heat and still scold their mouths when the coffee arrived back up to the castle. Yes. That would be good. And yes, Sheba put a lot of thought into little, pointless things, such as coffee.
Sometimes things really did happen and Sheba wondered if anything had happened to Dimitri or maybe he was using that as an excuse, or maybe it wasn't an excuse at all, maybe she was reading too much into it, maybe he wanted her to. Sheba wasn't sure, all she knew was that maybe she was over-thinking what Dimitri had said and so she decided it would be best not to say anything about it but move on to what it was he was going to be teaching and to her, the subject seemed fascinatingly dull. Ghosts and ghouls and such. How boring. "Sounds dull to me." She said with a smile and quite definitively once more, as though nothing were to come next, but she continued on with hardly a breath in-between. "But if the students want it and you want to teach it then I suppose it is a win win for you all." Sheba stopped there and took a breath. "Just as long as I don't have to be involved we'll all be happy!" She said and smiled quite unaware that just maybe, she was talking a bit too much and wasn't using quite the correct tones that the conversation required, let alone the fact that she was quite possibly using all the wrong words to get her point across. She wasn't as eloquent as many others.
Sheba furrowed her brow at Silvanus and gave a thoughtful sort of 'hmm' before deciding that she would quite like to say something. So she would. "Well why don't you get another job if you don't like the children? I'm sure there's plenty of children-free, animal farms you could work on alone that would love to take you on what with your expertise in shovelling faeces." Sheba had dearly wanted to say shovelling shit, but she decided it would have been somewhat rude and un-lady like and so she had opted for the cleaner version and yet, in her mind, it didn't take away any of the foul vision of Silvanus shovelling animal excrement. Still, she had more to say and so with a short breath, she continued with what she was saying, sort of off handely and looking away from Silvanus, as though imagining him working for someone else, cleaning up poop all day. "And if no wizarding farm will take you, then I'm sure there's plenty of muggle ones that might, after all that skill is one that can come in use anywhere in the world for both wizarding and muggle folk alike."

*I'll watch the night turn light-blue But it's not the same without you~ Pour me a heavy dose of A T M O S P H E R E* Aurora was still tired even though she had slept the morning through, most of her classes were at night and late night at that because of the amount of stars out and how bright they were. Sometimes she would wish that her classes were at the normal times, but then she wouldn’t get to see the stars she loved so much or the faces of the students when there was a meteor shower; now that was an experience she would never want to miss out on when some of the first year students saw their very first one up close.
Slowly she made her way down to the staff lounge for some adult conversation that didn’t involve a ghost or Filch because he was mad that some of her students were later than normal curfew due to getting some help from her, stopping half way down the hall she yawned half hoping that someone was there and would have filled either the tea pot or the coffee pot. Rubbing her eyes one more time she finally made it into the lounge giving half a smile to Sheba, Dimitri and Silvanus only hearing some of their conversation and something about Animal dung; personally it wasn’t a good conversation this early in the day even if it was afternoon. “Who’s going to be shovelling dung and does that really need to be talked about before I get my first cup of something hot for the day? Do we have the good stuff or as Filch made it again?”
Looking at the others more closely she sat next to Dimitri, smiling once more though not really ready to get up and pour herself the hot liquid gold that would wake her up so that she would be ready for the rest of the day. Looking at all the parchments in front of Dimitri and herself, she picked one up and opened it for a little read. “Um Dimitri what subject is this you are marking? I didn’t know you had filled in for someone or is this your senor classes work?”

"So... ghouls?" Silvanus replied to Dimitri. It wasn't the idea he had in his mind - he honestly thought extra-curricular meant a jogging team or something. Speaking of which, the idea didn't seem overly terrible to him. If only he could put an age limit on sixth and seventh years. Anyone younger were, simply put, brats. They'd probably whine and complain about distances. Silvanus, as a runner himself, didn't like slowing down for anyone. Besides, he did know a lot of students who went for early-morning runs like he did as he regularly ran (no pun intended) into them. He honestly had no smart-ass retort, so he merely just shrugged in a neutral fashion. He just didn't expect a professor like Dimitri to be teaching about ghouls. Sheba found the subject boring. Silvanus felt like it seemed interesting, not that he would openly admit that.
Silvanus laughed at Sheba's comments towards him in an amused tone.
"When did I ever say I didn't like the children?" he mused. "Just because I referred to them as brats doesn't mean I don't like my job. Besides, I major more in the older student classes... that's why we have whats-their-face teaching first-to-fourth years, the real brats. All I have are students who are actually interested in Magical Creatures, not just taking it because they're being forced to." He took the opportunity to pause and fix the cuffs on his sleeves. "Besides, what part of the term Magical Creatures do you not understand? As far as I was aware, those Muggles are not familiar with Hippogriffs and the like. I do not meddle in such pointless creatures as horses and pigs."
It was honestly the best Silvanus could do to defend himself. He often got angry at others for trying to say that what he did equated to farm work. Did they not understand that he could heal creatures as well? He didn't just sit there and clean up their dung. He may not be the most ... philosophical or responsible man in the world, but he knew what he was doing in the very least, and honestly, it was more than he could say for Sheba. It wasn't his fault that he disliked young children... he didn't even know why they bunched 11-14 year olds with 15-17 year olds anyways. It seemed like too much of an age gap. Pre-pubescent with young adults. It seemed like an absurd way of doing things.
It wasn't long before Aurora entered the staff room as well. Silvanus was hoping that she had not overheard Sheba essentially cutting Silvanus' balls off, but the first words out of her mouth proved otherwise. He could feel a slight twinge of heat in his face from embarrassment.
"No one will be shoveling dung," he assured her. "The coffee's rubbish, just like the conversation."

Nothing really interesting had happened to keep Dimitri from his work, nothing dramatic, anyway. He had been researching a thing or two for Dumbledore plus he was reading a particularly good book that was way more fun than grading essays - that was all, really. Sheba needn't worry - if she did at all. Dim had just been a little neglectful. Just a little. "Sounds dull to me." Dimitri glanced up at her briefly and shrugged, meanwhile reading an essay, only half listening to Sheba, to be honest. "That's the idea of an extra-curricular class - you attend if you're interested." He underlined a particularly well-voiced argument and put a '+' in the margin. "If there is animo for things like these, I might move onto something more exciting after Christmas. Mordred knows these children can use a bit of dueling practise, for instance." Sheba was talking rather a lot, Dimitri thought. Not that it was terribly annoying, he just noticed that she did take her time repeating her point. Or maybe it was just the English language, after all, Russian constructions in general tended to be shorter. In Russian, 'pass the salt, please' or even 'salt, please' was fine and perfectly polite, where English had all these long-winded constructions with auxiliaries like 'would you pass me the salt, please'. Although Silvanus said 'So... ghouls?', which was technically a question, Dimitri wondered if his colleague was actually interested. After all, the man had just declared him a madman for organising an extra-curricular course in the first place. "Yes, I thought I'd start with something not too complex, just to see if there's any interest among the student body," he replied, looking up from his essays to look at Silvanus' reaction. For all Dim knew, he might've missed some sarcastic undertone again..
He couldn't help but smile to himself as Sheba seemed to voice his thoughts at Silvanus' words - only wittier than he would've done. Silly, how they sometimes seemed so different and sometimes so similar. Dimitri could never quite predict what Bathsheba would say or do and he wasn't sure why. Still - he had nothing to add to that conversation, and he remained silent, reading essays, sometimes scribbing a comment on the parchment in red ink. "And if no wizarding farm will take you, then I'm sure there's plenty of muggle ones that might, after all that skill is one that can come in use anywhere in the world for both wizarding and muggle folk alike." He couldn't help it, the image of Silvanus shovelling shit on some muggle petting farm made him short slightly. Dimitri knew it wasn't very nice of him, but he had to admit he didn't particularly care that much about what Silvanus thought of him. Still, he had to admit that Silvanus had a point - it was more fun to teach pupils who were actually interested in the subject. He frowned for a moment. Was it paradoxical that Silvanus wanted older, motivated students, and yet thought that Dim's attempt to start up an extra curricular group was nonsense?
As Aurora sat down next to him he smiled back at her. He liked Aurora, she was nice enough. He liked her more than Silvanus, at least, but then again, that wasn't very extraordinary. "Um Dimitri what subject is this you are marking? I didn’t know you had filled in for someone or is this your senor classes work?" He looked up at the question, processing it for a moment before responding. "Hm? Oh, no, these are my third years. I had them write a bit of a creative essay to start the year with," Dimitri responded, wondering what could've made her wonder what the subject of the essays was. "Is it that bad - or that good?" he half joked.

Sheba thought about the implications that would come with a duelling class. The students would get cocky, try and kick each others arses at duelling in the corridors. It was a neat way to encourage duelling really but that wasn't something Sheba was all too interested in, and neither would be teaching the subject. She liked to spend her free time doing what she liked and what she enjoyed, not chasing after a bunch of students and getting them to fight one another. Though the thought of encouraging students to fight was a little amusing. Perhaps they might be able to make bets on who was going to win. She could see the duelling class being a success. The students would enjoy it and the staff could enjoy betting on the students! Win win!
"Hmm. I like the idea of a duelling club. I bet five galleons that Evan's girl only gets defeated once." Sheba looked over to Silvanus. "Who's your money on in this little fight club, Anus?" Yes, possibly a mistake in calling him 'Anus' out loud, but Sheba didn't even bat an eye. She didn't care much for Silvanus as he didn't seem to be all that nice a person really. Maybe he was a little too short tempered for her? Or maybe he just had a grouchy sort of demeanour? Whatever it was about Silvanus, Sheba found him bleh. Not someone she would avoid being near but not someone she would chose to sit close to if she had the option.
Anus seemed to start getting a nit uppity when she mentioned about the dung shovelling and he seemed to go off on a little bit of a rant at her. Sheba placed her coffee down on the table in front of her and decided she would leave it there. She was not going to be drinking any more of it. It tasted burnt and cold all at the same time. It was amazing how crappy the coffee was from this place. They really ought to take it in turns going to the village and bringing back some hot, good coffee for a change.
"I understand what magical creatures are Silvanus, I'm not one of your students. I was merely pointing out that the crap you get rid of from magical animals could easily be transferred to getting rid of the crap from muggle animals. Not to mention feeding must be about the same. Just plonk a load of food down for them." Sheba leant forward and nudged her coffee cup to see if it would become a magical sort of creature. It did not. "As for your students, well we all know how you like your students. About sixteen to eighteen, beautiful, female and I'm gonna go ahead and guess your prefer them with good sized breasts." Oh yes, Sheba had certainly been one to hear about the rumours of Silvanus and his female students, whether they were true or not she didn't care, she was just enjoying trying to get under his skin and get a reaction from him.
Before Sheba realised it, Aurora had joined them and was chatting away about dung and coffee. Anus had it pretty right about the coffee, the conversation however Sheba didn't completely agree with. It wasn't the best conversation but it was pretty fun irritating Silvanus. "Ignore Kettleburn, Aurora, he's just depressed he spends his life cleaning up animal shit." Sheba grabbed her cup of coffee and stood up. She walked over to the sink in the small kitchenette area and poured the icky substance right down the drain. That was enough of that. She didn't even want to look at it any more. She just ran the tap, washed her cup and turned it upside down, placing it on the draining board and turned the tap off. She dried her hands and returned to her seat. There had to be more to do than irritate Silvanus.
