Emilia rolled out of bed like she normally did, She brushed her hair as she stumped to her trunk and grabbed some clothes. She pulled on a long sleeve green shirt followed by a black tank top. reached for her skirt but couldn't find it! she settled for a black ruffled skirt that came up to her waist but reached down to her upper to mid thigh. She grabbed her coat before slipping on her black flats. She walked out of the Gryffindor dorm and strolled down the endless hallways.
As she came to the staircases of doom. She was never good at walking down these at the correct time and normally ended up all jumbled up... but! for once, she actually ended up where she wanted with in twenty minutes. She strolled down to the great hall where she noticed Breakfast was just ending. She snuck in real quick and took a seat. Thankfully, there was still a little food left for her to eat. Placing some eggs and toast on her plate while engaging in convocation with her peers around her. " Oh my gosh I know right?" she playfully mocked a girl that was making a big deal about some older boy talking to her. She received an angry glare from the young girl, she must have been a fourth year or something. Emilia rolled her eyes at the girl and shot her a look that simply said 'what ya gonna do about it?' the girl backed off sensing that Emilia would beat her up, But in reality Emilia probably wouldn't.
Soon enough she finished her breakfast and figured she should head her way to Hogsmeade. She had heard a rumor of Gladrags Wizardwear getting a new shipment for springtime clothing today and she wanted to check it out. She had more then enough money with her due to her mother sending her some as well as her brothers never using theirs and would just give it to her. She slipped on her coat as she started to make her way to Hogsmeade. The air was slightly cold on her legs as she walked but to be honest, it felt nice and she assumed it was going to be warmer as the day went by. She briskly walked from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade which didn't take as long as she thought it was going too. Perhaps it was because she mind was always trailing while she was alone and walking.
Finally, she arrived at Gladrags, pushing through the door and immediately her face grew. any girl would say they liked shopping, but Emilia, LOVED it. Sure, girls would lie about not shopping but if you asked Emilia, she love it and will admit it to anyone. "wow..." she gasped lightly. This place really did have a new shipment, Her eyes gazed over the shoe section before a small smirk grew on her face. Her legs forced her to walk to that section. She started to look at the all the different shoes but deciding there wasn't any she liked. soon enough, her eyes shifted to her left before strolling to the accessories department. She looked at scarves and headbands and such. She must of spent at least an hour or two looking at nearly everything but only to be disappointed.
She left soon after the disappointed, She walked down the street to the Three Broomsticks. She made her way to a booth, why? because she always felt like everyone was staring at her like judging her if she sat at a totally exposed area. Her booth was next to the large window that people could easily look in to the three broomsticks. A waitress came back to take her order "I'll have a butterbeer please" she asked politely, the waitress nodded and walked away. Emilia removed her jacked and placed it next to her before she stretched. She was still a little sleepy from waking up, but she was always tired.

Regulus reached out and grabbed a piece of toast from a pile that was neatly placed on the Slytherin table. The weekend had finally arrived, and it was about time. The past week had been a tough one, and he was ready for a break. Not that he would have much time to relax, anyway, since he had to spend so much time working on homework. How frustrating. But that was life as a fifth year Hogwarts student.
But today he wanted to at least have a few homework free hours. The plan was to go to Hogsmeade and meet up with a fellow Slytherin class mate of his. After that he had Quidditch practice, and then a Potions essay to concentrate on. Regulus took a bite out of his toast, followed by a sip of water. It was still fairly early, but there was no time to sleep in if he wanted to get anything done today.
As soon as he finished his breakfast, the fifth year Slytherin got out of his seat and left the Great Hall. He didn't like being in there; it was too loud and crazy. Once he reached the Entrance Hall he exited Hogwarts, passing an angry looking Filch on the way. Regulus couldn't help but roll his eyes at the old caretaker of Hogwarts. Pathetic. The cold air hit him the second he stepped outside. It was windy. Not very surprising.
Pulling his robes closer towards him, he kept walking, heading towards Hogsmeade by himself. For once, he was not wearing his school robes, but instead one of the nicer ones his parents had bought him for his last birthday. Looking around, he saw several other students walking the same direction as he was. Everyone looked excited and glad to finally have some free time. This definitely was the tough part of the semester.
It didn't take him too long to reach Hogsmeade. Regulus headed straight for the Three Broomsticks. Opening the door, he was greeted by lots of loud noises, most of them caused by the crowd of people yelling, trying to order their drinks. It was incredibly busy that day. Sighing, Regulus made his way through the line and found an empty seat in one of the corners. Examining the crowded room, he couldn't see his friend anywhere. Odd.
After waiting by himself for about twenty-five minutes, Regulus annoyance had reached its limits. He did not have the patience to sit there any longer. Getting up he tried to push his way through the crowd once again, this time trying to get to the exit. However, one guy belonging to a small group of Ravenclaws did not watch where he was going, and so Regulus was pushed sideways, right into the seat of one of the booths.
At first he contemplated getting back up to yell at the guy, but the Ravenclaw had already disappeared, so he let it go. Right then he noticed that he was not alone in the booth. A girl with brown hair, who he did not know, was sitting right across from him. "Oh." Regulus let out, surprised. She looked very pretty. "Hi. Sorry, I didn't mean to... it's crowded, and so..." He had no idea of what to say. Finally, a small smile appeared on his lips. "I'm Regulus."

Emilia laughed softly as she watched a boy flop into her booth. Her hands cupped her mug lightly as she stared at the boy. Her blue eyes widen with surprise. This was the last she ever thought would happen today. A smile creeped upon her face as he apologized "No need to apologize, It is rather crowded here." she laughed softly as she brushed some of her brown hair out of her face.
Emilia nodded lightly at him, "Lovely to meet you, I'm Emilia Mcinnis, a 6th year." she smiled happily before move her hand to the top of her head to run her fingers through her hair. She normally wasn't any good at making convocation but she'd try her best to not be so awkward with this boy sitting in her booth. "what brings you to hogsmeade today? If you don't mind me asking anyways. Just trying to make friendly convocation" she laughed nervously as her hand moved from her hair to rest on the table lightly.
It was unknown to Emilia that a certain Hufflepuff had ticked off a few Slytherins that were lurking in the three boomsticks today. Just as this Hufflepuff passed Emilia, these Slytherins placed a tripping jinx on him. Causing him to spill one of the drinks all over her!
The cold liquid spilled into her lap, she wanted to scream as the Hufflepuff apologized, but she was in no mood to accept it. Her eyes glanced up at the boy and realized she knew of him, the only thing she really knew was that he was muggleborn. Emilia resisted the urge to stand up and attempt an unforgivable curse on him but resisted too for two reasons. One, the butterbeer was freezing on her legs. and Two, because it was still chilly out and she couldn't leave until she was fully dry, not that she particularly wanted to leave now that a cute boy had joined her in her booth.
"Just get out of here you filthy badger!" her words seeped with venom like a poisonous snake. She knew in her heart she would regret snapping so suddenly at him but at this moment it didn't matter. Her eyes were drawn to Regulus again, sending him a apologetic look. "I'm sorry you had to see that." she explained while bitting her bottom lip lightly. She was nervous that he's just get up and leave her for acting so rude. It wasn't her fault! it could take five hours for her cloths to dry, she didn't want to freeze while walking back to Hogwarts!
Sorry, my muse is lacking a bit for Emilia lately due to school and such :/

She was smiling at him, happily. At least she wasn't upset about him being there. Regulus studied her closely with his eyes. So her name was Emilia and she was a sixth year? He shifted slightly in his seat while looking around for the waitress. He couldn't help but wonder whether she knew who he was or not. Just in case she didn't, it was probably best not to tell her he was a fifth year. He couldn't stand it when people started treating him based on how old he was.
Looking back at Emilia, Regulus tried his best to figure out who she really was. He knew he had seen her around at Hogwarts multiple times, but what house was she in? They weren't the same year, so they'd never had any classes together, and she was obviously not a Slytherin, otherwise he would see her in the common room all the time. Searching his brain, a part of him thought he might have seen her sitting at the Ravenclaw table before. Yes. That was good.
"I don't mind. I was supposed to meet a friend," Regulus mumbled as he raised his hand to try and get the waitress' attention. He couldn't help but notice that Emilia looked a bit nervous, and Regulus was instantly relieved to see that he wasn't the only one. "What about you?" The smile was back on his lips. Wait, are you waiting for someone? I can leave, if you want." He really didn't want to go. He was already feeling much more entertained than he would have been talking to his Slytherin friend.
The waitress finally made her way to their table, and he ordered a butterbeer for himself. He took a sip right as the idiotic Hufflepuff boy tripped, and spilled his entire glass in Emilia's lap. Instinctively, Regulus' hand moved towards his pocket where his wand was. He aimed it right at the Hufflepuff's face, but lowered it as soon as Emilia snapped at him. Apparently, this girl could take care of herself. His eyes widened in astonishment, but he quickly composed himself once again and put his wand back in his pocket, hoping that she hadn't seen him draw it in the first place.
"No, no, don't apologize," he hurried to say. "That was..." Regulus paused to search for the right word. Impressive. I am definitely impressed," he let out a short chuckle. There was no longer any doubt in his mind that this girl was indeed a Ravenclaw. He took another sip of his butterbeer. "Are you getting cold?" He wondered. "Maybe we can get Rosmerta or someone to dry your clothes?" He knew there were plenty of spells that could do just that, but being a fifth year he still hadn't learned one.
((OOC: Bleh! Sorry, not the best post. My muse is kind of down, too:( school is killing me!))

Just in case she didn't, it was probably best not to tell her he was a fifth year. He couldn't stand it when people started treating him based on how old he was.
Emilia nodded as he mentioned he was to meet a friend. of course, she was saddened because it meant he might be leaving her. She was quite enjoying running into someone and hopefully becoming friends. especially since he was so cute. "Oh, there was no particular reason as to why I cam here in the first place. Just to get out of Hogwarts I guess. It feels like a prison sometimes don't you think?" she laughed softly at her own analogy. Emilia's eyes gazed from her fingers to his face as she smiled again. Today was going to be a good day, she just had a feeling about it.
Emilia was quite embarrassed as to how she looked now. She probably looked like a complete mess now! She was going to try to impress him and now she looked horrible! Although, she did feel bad for snapping at the hufflepuff boy but she was kinda.. well surprised that it had impressed him that she had snapped at the hufflepuff. "I'll be fine, don't worry. It doesn't take that long for me to dry. this definitely isn't the first time I've had this happened" she laughed at herself. Sometimes she had the worst luck but sometimes she had the best luck. today was just one of those days were both happened.
Her blue eyes moved from his face to the window. She looked past him, at a girl a few tables away for a moment before back at him and smiling. " well, Regulus, I'd like to point out. There's a girl over there, and it seems like she is eying you up. or maybe the guy behind you... or even me.. who knows, she could be a lesbian... I mean What lesbian wouldn't want me" she winked playfully at him before remembering she had just met him and he now probably thinks she's some really cocky obnoxious girl. "I'm not some really cocky obnoxious girl if that's what you're thinking right now about me! I'm really not I promise! I just make weird jokes..." she frown a little at herself of being awkward again. "please stop me If I'm rambling and being annoying" she nervously laughed at him
oh gosh, she's done it again. She's probably scaring this guy off like the others. Emilia can be so stupid sometimes! OR maybe this is working in her favor... maybe he likes girls that are awkward and weird. hopefully he does, It'd make her feel so much more at ease about this whole thing. "well... What do you want to talk about?" paused " I wish I could have a dog at Hogwarts, I feel like they would be better companions than cats. maybe that's because I'm a dog person. Not a fan of cats to be honest. do you like cats?" another random topic came to her mind.
