Be who they want to see:
Arianna is 5'8", towering above many of her peers. She isn't an ugly woman. In fact, she is quite beautiful, though you'll never get her to admit it. She has warm brown hair that is sometimes dyed a darker brown, blonde, or reddish, depending on her mood for the day. Usually her hair is straight, falling well below her shoulders. Sometimes, though, she gets lazy and leaves her hair in it's natural curls. She'll keep her hair natural if she doesn't plan on going out or if she puts it up in a loose bun. Her only favorite feature about herself is her eyes. Her family had always had pretty eyes and hers are no exception. They are blue-green with a hint of gray. Her body frame is lithe at best. She considers herself a skinny little twig. She wishes she could have the more womanly curves, but her mother's genes prevent her from taking from her father's side of the family. She doesn't have much in the way of curves. She is regularly seen in nicer attire, slacks, a button up shirt, but she much prefers a nice t-shirt and jeans. She doesn't often wear skirts. If she wears a skirt, someone has died.
But that leaves no one:
To discover that inside:
Arianna is a typical Aries. She is a natural born leader, being a prefect then a head girl during her years at Hogwarts. She's been the leader more often then not so when others step up to the plate, she kindly reminds them of that. She doesn't like it when other people run the show. She knows they're quite capable of doing it, but she will always find those little errors that she, herself, would never make. She's never voiced these problems to anyone before. She keeps them in her head or in her little brother's ears, depending on how upset she was. She won't ever give up, no matter how many others give up. She's quite stubborn in that aspect.
Arianna enjoys doing new things, especially if they are risky. While she is all gungho for her own career in whatever she chooses, she would much prefer to help others with their goals. This is especially true for her little brother. Since they were children, Arianna has been close to her brother. Now she sees him in his final year and she'll do anything in her power to make sure he succeeds.
Her father is the greatest duelist living and she wants to follow in his shoes. She must protect those around her, even if it means her own life. As a student, she was always seen working on her dueling without her geomancy. The only time she has ever permitted herself to use it was when her father was around and he taught her a few secret techniques that could help her turn the tide on someone.
Arianna is quite energetic. As previously mentioned, she loves doing new things, especially if they're risky. She never seems to stop, even for a moment. She's always at the school with little treats for her brother and the entirety of Ravenclaw. She's been known to come with baskets of muffins when it was final examination time. Study food, she called it. Arianna never quite thinks everything through. She jumps in the middle of the situation, often jumping to conclusions. She attempts to defuse bombs as early as possible, but in the end she often makes things worse for others. She truly tries, but sometimes you have to hit her upside her head to make her realize things.
Arianna can be a touch selfish sometimes. It doesn't often come out because she's tried to push every selfish bone from her body. Sometimes, however, she can get quite vicious when she feels someone is intruding on her personal space or time. Her brother is often immune to this. She will drop everything for him. And she has, on several occassions. She loves her brother more than she could ever love anyone else. She just wants to be the best sister she can be, but sometimes she goes just a few hundred feet too far.
Arianna is intelligent. She wouldn't be in Ravenclaw if she weren't. She isn't as book smart as she is combat smart, however. Ever since she was a little girl, she's watched her father duel. It was always a dream of hers to become as good as him and one day surpass him. She is by no means stupid when it came to her studies. No, she kept up her good grades with a little more effort.
Arianna was once a homebody, but Hogwarts changed that. Now she has an almost insatiable wanderlust. She can't stay confined indoors for too terribly long without starting to go a little nuts. She will find any way to get out of a place if she feels she's been in one place too long. She will go so far as picking fights with people just so she has a reason to leave.

What a bitter story of love:
Arianna was the first of two children born to Thomas and Alexandria Monroe. Her brother, Caedyn, was born a little more than a year after her. She lived with him and their parents in a nice home in the richer section of London. For the first bit of their lives, their mother took it upon herself to teach them. They were allowed to play with other children, but their parents kept a close eye on their children. Arianna and Caedyn weren't told until later why. They were different than the other children. The other children weren't gifted as they were. Arianna didn't quite understand this. She tried to get the other children to do magic as she did, but they never could. She continued to try and teach the other children how to do magic until her parents found out. She lived the remainder of her young life, for the most part indoors or out with her father, learning dueling against her mother's wishes.
When it came time for Arianna to go to Hogwarts, she tried so hard to get her parents to put it off for a year and allow her to go into Hogwarts with Caedyn. She didn't like the idea of being away from her brother. Her parents wouldn't hear anything of it and took her to the platform. They saw her off and thus began her first year at Hogwarts. Arianna kept to her books, refusing to speak with the others unless they had a question about something in the books, a spell, a potion. (Her mother and father had made sure she was well prepared before she even hit Hogwarts.) She made herself miserable until it was time for her brother to join her at Hogwarts. After that, she became herself once again. She was friendly towards others, even made several friends.
When Arianna was fourteen, a mysterious fire broke out in their home and destroyed it. She and the rest of her family were almost killed by the fire. Arianna loved the house that had been destroyed, but the important thing was that her family was alive. Material things were nothing compared to their lives, especially her little brother. When he reacted badly to it, Arianna did everything in her power to make her brother feel better. She thought that the fire had scared him so she ran "battle" plans with him regularly just incase of another fire. She doesn't know that it was her brother that started the fire.
During her fifth year, Arianna was chosen as one of the prefects and in her seventh year, she became Head Girl. It was obvious she was leading material. She enjoyed being in the front of the crowd instead of in the crowd. She would push her way into the leadership position if it was not offered to her or if she felt someone was doing a piss poor job. Most people ignored this, knowing Arianna meant the best, but her execution was a little... well. Bad.
Now, Arianna is out of Hogwarts and living "on her own". Her parents gave her one of their many homes and she made it her own. She keeps everything as private as she can, hating outside eyes on her home. Inside her walls, she works on her geomancy. She often brings her brother to her home so she can teach him things that she had learned through practice. She has no real plan for the future at the moment, but something will come soon. Hopefully.
Arianna sat alone in the courtyard of Hogwarts. She looked upwards at the dismal and drizzling sky. She smiled some and shook her head. She didn't mind the rain, not in the slightest. It made her feel connected, she supposed. There were so many elements swirling around her. The heat and burning of the occassional lightening strike, the cool of the water, the blowing wind, the strong earth beneath her feet. This was when she felt alive. Her whole body seemed to hum with excitement. Maybe today she'd do some geomancy work with her brother. She'd have to take him from Hogwarts to do such a thing, but she was sure she could come up with some excuse to bring him home for a few days. Too bad it wasn't like this at home.
Arianna stood slowly, dusting the water off her jacket before heading for the main doors. She was welcomed into Hogwarts often without question because of her little brother. She had gotten special permission from the headmaster before she left for good. It was important to keep on top of her brother. She didn't want him slacking, if he even knew what the word "slacking" meant. She made sure he had sweets as well as everything he needed. She would report back to their parents with what she had found out during the trip. It was the way their family worked.
Arianna nodded to a few of her out of house friends that had been left behind when she graduated. She paused to speak with them for a few minutes, catching up with their lives as well as speaking of her own. Everyone was atwitter about the Monroe party this year. Arianna smirked and nodded. "It's going to be the best one yet, just you wait." With apolite nod and a quick question of where her brother was, she was off once again. He was in the library again. She sighed and shook her head. She would get her brother out of the damned library and somewhere where he could talk with other people and not be shushed by any cranky old librarians.
Arianna stepped into the library and looked around. She smirked when she spotted her brother hunched over several books, writing notes down. She walked up to him and with a gentle bump, she conked his head against the books. Before he could sputter a word, she pressed her finger to her lips and winked at him. "Shh. You're in a library, Cae. Don't make so much noise. You're squawking like a bird!"
