She paused suddenly just as he sat down. Stared at his face with a blank expression and halted all movement. A vile held in her right hand, a ladle in her left. Left handed ment she was creative and quick thinking. A few blinks passed by and then, "You carry a lot of tension in your Brow. Also in your shoulders and your hips." Her voice was lower and more serious than her perky chipper attitude a few moments prior.
Slowly and causiously she poured the bubbling potion into the vial withouth taking her eyes of him. "It means, " Her hand swept out fluidly without fumbling for something and she stuck it to the glass container. From Ryan with Love. It was a premade sticker she put on lots of things. "That you're itching to be somewhere. Not a somewhere inparticular." She held out the vile for him to take and continued to stare him down as if to read him some how. "Your body language sugests you hold a lot of things back."

Remus could feel her eyes on him and didn't like it one bit. Ryan's gaze was penetrating him, tracing him for clues and jigsaw pieces, and he avoided her gaze stoically. "You carry a lot of tension in your Brow. Also in your shoulders and your hips." Remus' frown only deepened. "So?" he asked with a bit of a shrug, perhaps a tad too hostile. He could hear her pour the potion and had hoped she'd need the hand-eye coordination, but apparently Ryan needed no such thing. Tough luck for Remus, to who those eyes felt like an itch he just couldn't reach properly. He got up and started pacing a little nervously, like a caged animal, a trapped predator that knows prey is nearby but cannot reach it.
"It means that you're itching to be somewhere. Not a somewhere inparticular." Remus said nothing. It wasn't so much that he wanted to be somewhere, he just wished it was tomorrow already, that it was over with for the next twenty-eight days. He could see she was holding out the vial to him, but didn't really want to get any closer. She was trying to figure him out, she was treating him like a puzzle, and if she hadn't noticed his scars before she certainly would now she was trying and when he got close enough to accept the vial. "Your body language sugests you hold a lot of things back." Remus clenched his jaws, paused walking, and sat down (though at a fair distance). He took a few moments to collect himself, then softly said: "I really appreciate your trying to help, but I'm afraid there is nothing to be done." He had planned to add an 'I'd best be off' but somehow couldn't bring himself to say it.

Ryan watched him carefully. The light from the candle fixture danced along his features. She let out a small sigh and sat the vile in front of him. Her eyes looked over him carefully. "I really appreciate your trying to help, but I'm afraid there is nothing to be done." The corner of Ryan's lips pulled back a little in a soft smile. "I know." How could one little potion solve any big thing. It was magic, and Ryan knew a little too well that you couldn't cover your real problems with silly charms. "It never really fixes it. Just makes it easier to forget sometimes."
Putting her hands to the floor she scooted a little closer and leaned on the wall. Her hand grasped a near by towel and she lifted it to her damp and tangled hair. "You want to know a real secret?" Call it word vomit, but Ryan felt like she needed to tell someone everything that had been happening. And while she couldn't even remember his name, nor did she think he knew hers, he seemed like a pretty good person to talk to. "Not a dumb secret like the potion thieving. A good secret. A personal secret. Maybe if I tell you my secret, you'll trust me enough to let me help?"
Her face turned to his and with a sincere look she put her hand on his knee. Though, only briefly before retracting it slowly and raising it to her brown messy hair in an attempt to brush it out. "Either way, you're tense the potion will help I promise."

She was still watching him, Remus' jaw was still set. When she placed the vial in front of him, he glanced at it, but didn't pick it up yet. "I know," the girl (apparently Ryan, according to the label she'd put on the vial) said with a slight smile. Remus eyebrow twitched. "You don't," he muttered softly, a little harshly, and actually.. he meant it. What was this girl trying to do? Make him feel better? Because it surely wasn't working, the way she did it. How could she even begin to pretend to know?! Remus sighed slowly, trying to calm himself down, but he was beginning to find it increasingly difficult. "It never really fixes it. Just makes it easier to forget sometimes." Oh, Merlin, and now she was sitting closer to him. The wolf was about ready to pounce her, not entirely sure if it should see the girl as a threat or a prey, but either would be equally disastrous. "I do not wish to forget," Remus simply said.
He groaned softly as she spoke again. Why did girls never just.. shut up? "You want to know a real secret? Not a dumb secret like the potion thieving. A good secret. A personal secret. Maybe if I tell you my secret, you'll trust me enough to let me help?" She sure looked sincere, but- Hand on his knee. Remus froze, and was about to slap her hand away when she removed it herself. Good. "Either way, you're tense the potion will help I promise."
Remus got up again, walked a few paces - well out of Ryan's way. "Listen, Ryan," he said, a quiver in his voice (he wasn't sure if it was anger or nerves), "as I've said before - I appreciate your trying to help, but there is nothing, and I emphasise: nothing you can do and the last thing I'm interested in is sharing secrets with someone I don't even know." It sounded harsh, and he knew it, but this girl seemed to have no idea how much he didn't want her help and he'd tried to tell her nicely before, right? "I'm sorry, but you can not help." He crossed his arms, waiting for a reaction. She would cry, he guessed, or get mad at him - or both. Either way.. both would be a good excuse to leave and that was all Remus wanted.

What in the name of hell was this guy's problem? How could someone be so rude? Ryan couldn't help but question who the hell he thought he was. ' as I've said before - I appreciate your trying to help, but there is nothing, and I emphasise: nothing you can do and the last thing I'm interested in is sharing secrets with someone I don't even know." Was this a joke or something? Put down the poor defenceless girl who only wanted to be nice.
Standing, Ryan looked at him with fire in her eyes. Was he kidding her? Ryan didn't even know his name and she already thought he was not friend material. "I'm sorry, but you can not help." How did he know that? How did he know that she wasn't going through something herself? Ryan could have been just like him and he'd never know because he was a jerk.
"What the heck do you know about me or my secrets? What the hell gives you the right to act like you are the only one that's got bad things happening to them? My parents are dead because of this riddiculous war, and you don't see me wandering around like some sad sap! I have every right! You, you're just a pompouse, arrogant, ignorant, self centered, disrespectful minger!!!!!" Her eyes burned against him. She was only trying to repay him for helping her. One friend. She'd have loved to have just one bloody friend.

[Eh, sorry, Rem's losing it just about.. now xP] Remus could almost feel the mood in the room turn around and though part of him felt terrible about it, and guilty, another part of him was just incredibly angry at Ryan. Had he not told her time and time again, politely, hadn't he tried to tell her she couldn't help him - nicely? He had tried, hadn't he? Was he a terrible person? He was, wasn't he? Remus groaned softly, though when she glared at him viciously, he could feel the anger flare up inside him as well - more like the wolf's anger, really, but at this point there was little difference between them, with the moon so near. He was able to suppress it, that was - until she opened her mouth.. "What the heck do you know about me or my secrets? What the hell gives you the right to act like you are the only one that's got bad things happening to them? My parents are dead because of this ridiculous war, and you don't see me wandering around like some sad sap! I have every right! You, you're just a pompous, arrogant, ignorant, self centered, disrespectful minger!!!!!"Remus got up, growling slightly at the false accusations. "If you're willing to share your damn secrets so willingly, you really must be daft! Secrets aren't secrets for nothing and I never," his eyes turned feral, " never share my secrets with anyone, least of all to people who drag me along to some secret broom closet against my will and then think they can help me." His voice wasn't loud, as hers was, but there was a great deal of anger in it. There was nothing left of the boy that had seemed so fragile before. "If you think I am pompous and self centered, maybe you should look at yourself, dragging me along and trying to help me while I kept refusing again and again and you didn't listen, did you?" Remus stepped a little closer to her, closing the distance in a few steps and glaring viciously at her. Ryan had made him snap with all her pushing. " You just don't listen, you're just like all those other girls who just want to figure you out and then tell everyone about the secrets you've unraveled; you're just another gossiping, air-headed girl," he hissed through clenched jaws.

She couldn't help but block him out. Sure she'd been a little too helpfull but it was in her nature. And he didn't have to be so hurtful. What a jerk. "I hope you rot, Sir." She shoved the door open letting the cool air sweep in and swirl around them. Swiftly she gathered her things and hid them away. "You better forget this place and everything I sad to you." Storming out she left him behind to ponder her anger all on his own. ((sorry it's short there isn't much I could do with it.))

[Always nice to see when words nor actions have no effect on people.. And here I was thinking Rem was pretty damn scary.] Remus' flinched as cold air hit him in the face, hardly even listening to Ryan as his heart was beating in his ear so loud he could only hear that. Once she was gone, he was able to calm down, though, and although a thousand questions swarmed his mind he was able to pull that ever-so-handy blank curtain over it - he would worry about it later. Or not. Maybe he'd never see her again. That'd be good.
