What can be found in a name:
Mirella Holly Nott
When the day I was born:
12/5/1959
The Angels screamed:
Chandler Nott - Father
Morgana Nott - Mother
Laszlo Nott - Older and only brother
____ Nott - Younger and only sister
And Hell shut its doors:
None
While creatures retreated:
Pure
To depths unknown:
Slytherin
I hide from them:
slytherin common room, edge of the forbidden forest by the lake there's a little tree stump under a large oak that's prefect for sitting on and is perfect in summer time for still being in the sun
Be who they want to see:
Holly has green eyes, naturally red hair that she does dye brown every now and then when she's sick of the ginger. She is slender and not much into sports or exercise, she doesn't eat too much but if she did, she would probably be larger than a house, lucky she has a small appetite. On her right leg down by her ankle she has a scar from falling over her dolls house when she was seven. She was adamant that she hadn't left it in the door way where she had fallen and blamed it on her younger sister. Holly has her ears pierced and her belly button, though her parents and siblings do not know about the latter. She doesn't have any tattoo's but does want one, but like the belly button piercing, she would have to keep it a secret if she got one.
But that leaves no one:
To discover that inside:
Holly is social when she wants to be and only when she wants to be, other times she becomes a bit of a recluse and spends a lot of time on her own. Even though she's a pure blood and believes entirely in pure blood supremacy, she doesn't mind half bloods but cannot stand blood traitors and muggle borns, to her they're filthy and not worth her time of day. As well as being prejudice Holly is quite vain. She loves her reflection and taking care of her appearance. She suffers from acne and uses creams twice a day. It was hard to get rid of at first but she managed it but if she misses applying the cream just once then she breaks out in her acne again and it can take days to control it. Like most girls her age Holly is very interested in finding a boyfriend. She's had a few before, six or seven, but never stayed with them for too long. Her longest relationships were with a Ravenclaw for three months and a Slytherin for four and a half months. The two of those she'd slept with but no one else. She tries not to let her hormones get the better of her, she really doesn't need a reputation, it's something she'd very careful about as she does not wish to displease her parents. She tries to be a good daughter though really it's not too hard to be well loved in her family. Unless your Laszlo. Holly also has quite an addictive personality. Once she gets into something, it will last forever, like her looks and sadly, smoking.
This soulless being:
Boys, smoking, partying, studying, art
Is just as lost:
Acne, taste of cigarettes after a while, animals, christmas, pain
As everyone else:
Ability not to care, great artist, good singer, giving make-overs, socialising with pure bloods
In a world that knows only hate:
Her reflection, smoking, caffeine, pretty things, saving money
And causes pain for the soulless like me:
She has her belly button pierced and wants a tattoo and she smokes, her parents don't know any of this and neither do her siblings.
They left me to die:
All pure bloods apart from a few cousins that are never spoken of
On a bed of roses:
All pure bloods
Blood seeping through:
Chandler got so angry he kicked Laszlo out and wanted him to change his surname
The satin sheets of fame:
Very well off - rich
What a bitter story of love:
Mirella Holly Nott was the second child born to Morgana and Chandler Nott. All though Chandler was hoping for a second son should anything terrible happen to Laszlo, he still didn't mind that he had a daughter, a little girl that would be his little princess that he could spoil and protect and Morgana was happy to have a daughter that she would be able to teach the ways of etiquette to and be able to dress up.
A year later, they had another daughter and two years after that it was the affair. Holly remembers most of what happened but never really understood it when she was younger, but tough times between Laszlo and her father brought back memories of arguments and betrayal and it was then that Holly pieced together all the information she had retained in her mind and figured out what had happened. After that Holly found that she viewed both her parents in new lights. Her mother was a whore and her father a twat. Of course, she still cared for both of them but a little bit of respect for them died.
Although Laszlo had a tougher childhood than his sisters growing up, Holly found she too had a hard time, though not because of her fathers expectations but because of her mothers. Her mother wasn't the type to demand things but she expected things and made you feel exceedingly guilty should you fail. Holly would always remember her etiquette lessons with her mother, if she didn't get it right first time her mother would give her that certain look she could give to make you want to try harder. holly hated manipulation but somehow has become quite good at it, more than likely because she had subconsciously learnt from probably the best - her mother.
The first year Holly was at Hogwarts, she was placed into Slytherin like her brother, though they never really spoke much as there wasn't really a need to, however, there was a mutual understanding between the two, the would go by their middle names only, not their first names. Holly hated her first name 'Mirella' which was given to her after her fathers mother, much like Laszlo was her mothers father, and Holly was her mothers middle name, just as Adrian was Chandler's.
The first three years of Holly's school life were pretty uneventful, she studied and she decided on what she wanted to be when she grew up. She wanted to be an unspeakable. She wasn't into gossip and so she knew she could do the job and she wanted her father to be proud of her. He was always pushing Adrian and Holly actually got jealous of that. She wanted her father to pay more attention to her and so she tried her hardest and got O's in everything she did up until she got her first boyfriend when she paid more attention to him than her school work. After the week long relationship with him, she bounced on over to another guy and became his girlfriend. After she broke up with him, she threw herself back into her studies, though not as passionately and only got E's, not her usual O's.
Getting E's all through her fifth year and a few O's, Holly decided it was time again to try getting another boyfriend for her sixth year. She dated three guys at once and then they broke up with her, or two of them did. the third was just such an idiot that she broke up with him after another month and some boring sexual encounters. Her latest boyfriend was a bit more exciting and not as dumb as the last sexually, but they didn't last, Holly has found that she tends to get too bored with guys too easily and doesn't want a reputation so she has decided, for the time being to stay away from guys, though she really doesn't know how long that's going to last as there's quite a few eligible guys that would suit her quite nicely. Rich and handsome. That was all she needed.
The sun was shinning and Holly was up. She wasn't really much of a late night person, just more of a day person, but on this particular day, she was up early and decided that she'd have breakfast and then head out to her favourite spot on the grounds, a small little stump near the lake and the forbidden forest that she loved and felt quite inspired by, views of the castle, the lake, the mountains and the forest as well as the sky, what more could an artist want?
Heading down to the great hall, Holly had her art supplies in a back pack. She'd spent a while in front of the mirror in the bathroom applying her acne cream and rinsing it off. She'd also spent time doing her hair and a light dusting of makeup. Sure, she wasn't after any guys or out to impress anyone, but you never really knew who you were going to run into nor under which circumstances even if Hogwarts was quite an uneventful place.
By the time she got to the great hall, a few students had got up and were having breakfast. It was the weekend so of course, most students were staying in bed or studying. It was close to exam time and people wanted good grades or else they'd be stuck repeating their year and no one wanted that. It was just humiliating.
Holly grabbed a slice of toast, buttered it, jammed it and headed out of the great hall and started trekking across the grounds to her favourite spot, singing all the way with a few bum wiggles here and there that she classed as dancing. Once she reached her little stump that the sun was shinning on, she finished her toast, got her blanket out of her bag and put it on the stump. She didn't want a dirty butt and not to know it.
Sitting she took out her sketch pad and rummaged past her paints and chalks to find her pack of pencils. A few birds were out on the grounds, searching for worms and a lot more were else where, chirping happy little songs, though Holly did hope they'd shut up soon or that she'd become so self absorbed in what she was doing that her concentration would block them all out.
Looking out across the lake, Holly drew parts of the landscape but made a few twists, she added mermaids, boats and the giant squid to her picture. She was a realist with her art, enjoying to draw what it was that she saw mainly, but every now and then her imagination managed to get the better of her, and now was one of those times.
