Under most situations you would never find David up at this ungodly hour. As he slipped back into the school beneath the cloak of shadow. His short hair hidden under his low pulled hood. His fingers holding onto the edge of the leathery cowl to keep it in place. The weather had recently gone from cold numbing snow to blinding rain. Their Lord assured them soon the weather would let up and soon they would be in the position they were looking for. He knew for a fact some of the others were less than pleased with having to sneak out and do this. He had no problems with it he was a Prefect as well. He made sure not to encounter either the Head Boy or Head Girl, his footfall soft and quiet. What he needed right now was a house elf to do his bidding like at home. He made his way down into the Dungeons and into the kitchens with a tap of his wand.
There was no use returning to his dorm rooms there was likely no one there. The care taker rarely slept there he was doing something on the sly for the Dark Lord what David hadn't been told but than there wasn't alot of others being told what was going on with who. Well one of the older Death Eaters was getting married that much David knew, and he planned to make sure he at least had a fantastic wedding, he was his friend after all regardless of his blood. It had also been David's nature to look after the first years since he'd arrived at Hogwarts. Of course David also had the first years looking after him in turn. Considering he was handsome, wealthy and from a noble blooded family. He had enough issues with girls tossing themselves at him. Lately he'd noticed Alecto in a different light. Of course he was always polite to her before she was a Carrow, another well respected family. However, he needed to start making his plans before he was out of school completely.
Like the young brown haired David himself slipped along the wall where he could easily disappear into the shadows of one of the towering landmarks of the castle. He didn't get caught often and certainly not tonight. Still there was a tell tale trail of water on the ground behind him from where his cloak had swept behind him, so naturally his lack of stealth showed. He just didn't notice it. The kitchens were already alight when he reach the kitchens, having dispersed with the pear on the canvas and slipped in completely. His lips set as he started to call for a House elf, but the Kitchens were huge and he was well aware of the presence of another he wasn't sure whom else might be in there with him until he stepped further into the Kitchen. "Hot tea." he ordered when the House elf appeared giving it a sneer as he took took the cup. The whole castle was infested with the filthy things. Obiously David Val'Lauren saw no reason for them other than servants.
He swept his hood back so that they could see who it was. Dropping the soaking mess into the arms(and ontop) of the unfortunate House Elf that had brought him tea. "Place it in my things." he commanded. Than made his way to where Alecto was sitting at the table. "Good evening Alecto." he said proving that he did in fact know who she was rather than Miss.Carrow. "How do you fare this lovely and wet." he made a face. "Evening ?" motioning to the outside. "Seems the snow will have reinforcements by morning and it will be quiet icy, if it does not out right melt the snow." he fancied her with a smile. "Though enough of that, may I join you ?" He asked holding up his tea cup and inclining his head to the table near her. That ever present charming smile on his face. Though for Alecto his smile actually reach his eyes and sparkled there brightly. A sigh of affection for Val'Lauren at least.
