I'd like Ethan to have a sister. She's younger, but decently close in age, probably in her 6th or 7th year. Ethan himself is 19, and is an Auror, and used to be a successful one before their father turned him to Tom Riddle and recruited him. More info, please go to Ethan's application. Anyways, Ethan is a coward; when he was in Hogwarts he was in Ravenclaw due to his high intelligence. He used to be a very good Auror, but now instead of being able to catch real Dark wizards, he's being forced into tricking innocent people into believing they've done terrible things in order for him to not lose his job. Safe to say, he's not doing so well within the Ministry. His true goal in life was to work in the Department of Mysteries, but he knows he can never do that while working with the Dark Lord, for he knows that Voldemort would require him to be spy. Ethan actually loathes the Dark Arts, and everything about them, but is too coward to stand up for himself. He'd rather ruin other people's lives than be killed. Both Ethan and his sister grew up with just their father, for the rest of their family members mysteriously died. They grew up in a household in which their father was an abusive alcoholic with no job, although they are rich due to 'inheritance' from their apparently dead relatives. They are pureblood, and their father is pro-Dark Arts, and tried to force both Ethan and his sister into them. Their father claimed that their mother died shortly after the sister was born, but both kids always get mysterious packages and gifts on their birthdays and Christmas, with no name on them.
Anyways, all Ethan wants in life is to get married (as if right now, he's very much a virgin, as he has not even kissed a girl before - he has always been too involved with his studies and career... and besides, he's outrageously awkward) and have kids; and to have the same close bond with his sister that he used to before working for Voldemort. He's actually a very sweet guy, but like written above, a complete coward.
His sister will probably be in Gryffindor, for she's very brave, and has repeatedly told Ethan that he should have died rather than join Voldemort. The two would have been extremely close growing up, as they would have had to to not go insane living with a father like theirs. She needs to be strong willed, brave, and determined to the point of stubbornness. She's not as intelligent as Ethan, obviously, as he had been top of all of his classes by far. She's supposed to be almost the opposite of Ethan: outspoken where he is very shy and so on. Preferably pretty. They now have a bit of a strained relationship, because as much as she wants to have her brother in her life, she resents heavily on what he is doing, and hates it more than anything else.
