Totally stole the idea from Bianca kinda. It was going to be more graphic, but I was entering it for a contest where the highest rating it could be was PG-13.
A strange scratching noise came from Remus’ window. It took several moments for the noise to wake the young nine-year-old boy, and when it finally did, he cowered under the covers. He didn’t know what was making the noise as it was three in the morning. After a few moments, Remus finally peeked his brown eyes over his blankets and towards the window. He nearly jumped out of his skin. Standing there was a lovely looking red-haired woman with a smile on her face. She looked kind, but he couldn’t figure out why she was at his window at that time. She was beckoning him to her with her index finger, and he wasn’t sure if he should go. Her smile was friendly though... she couldn’t possibly mean any harm, could she?
Remus left the comfort of his bed and walked over to his window. Besides, it wasn’t like he was about to fall asleep with her staring at him. He walked over to the window and opened it. Before he even had the chance to ask what she was doing there, however, her wand was pointed at him. Remus felt paralyzed even before a flash of red light was emitted from it, causing everything to go black.
When Remus awoke again, he was tied against a tree in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. He wasn’t a very tall boy, so the fact that he was as tall as the woman who was standing before him confused him momentarily. He looked down to realize that he was tied so high up the tree that there was a good foot or two of space between the bottom of his feet and the ground. He then became aware that his head was pounding in pain. The red-haired woman no longer seemed friendly, and seemed quite happy that she was able to get him so easily. She seemed quite manic, and the crazed look in her eyes made Remus squirm in fright.
“Did Daddy never teach you to not talk to strangers?” the woman asked in a horribly mocking voice. Her voice caught Remus off-guard. She was so pretty that he was expecting her to have a tenderly and soft voice. Instead, her voice was raspy and deep. “Especially after what he has done... your daddy is a bad man, a very bad man.”
Remus didn’t understand why she was speaking to him as if he were slow. He was nine, not stupid. He squirmed some more, but was hardly able to move an inch either way. She had definitely done her job well. She kept looking around quickly as if expecting someone to show up, and she certainly seemed edgy about it.
“What do you want from me?” Remus asked in a small voice. He had hoped to sound like he was demanding information of her, but instead sounded like the frightened child that he truly was.
The woman seemed to find his fear amusing. “Your father has a filthy mouth! He cannot possibly be left unpunished.”
The woman looked up to the sky and Remus couldn’t help but follow her line of vision. A cloud moved and revealed a full moon behind it. She looked at Remus for one final time before grinning and running off into the forest. However, within seconds a high-pitched female scream broke the silent night air. The screaming continued until it faltered, and then was silenced altogether. For the first time that night, Remus felt truly frightened. At first he couldn’t help but wonder if this was just a dream, but he knew in that moment that it wasn’t. It couldn’t be. He could feel the hairs on his skin stand on end.
The silence after the screams dragged on, and Remus half-hoped something would happen just to ease the suspense. He got his wish, however, for within moments he heard twigs snapping. Remus forgot to even breathe. He strained his eyes to see through the darkness. Something moved, and out from the shadows came a great wolf. Remus tried to stay still in hopes that the wolf wouldn’t see him, but by the way the wolf’s nose twitched and then looked at him, he knew staying still was pointless. The wolf grew closer, and Remus began to jerk recklessly, trying to get out of his bonds. It was pointless as the wolf soon was upon him. The wolf raised itself onto its back legs and put its front legs on Remus’ chest. Remus then noticed the blood on the wolf’s snout, and that’s when he began to scream.

Remus could feel heat on his face. When he opened his eyes, he saw that it was daylight. He felt dazed and he realized that it hurt to breathe. He couldn’t move as his brain tried to process what had happened the night before. There was blood, so much blood... he looked down on himself to see that his pyjamas were now just shreds on his body. They were no longer blue but a maroon colour from dried blood. He put fingertips to touch his chest and he winced. His skin there was severely torn. He then began to cry; not from fright, but from sheer confusion.
He picked himself up from the ground and shakily steadied himself against the tree where he had been previously bound. The ropes that had been used to keep him there had disappeared completely. He tried to take a step, but his legs felt weak. He fell to the ground, shaking. He felt... different. Remus continued to cry and try to call out for his parents, but realized that his vocal cords didn’t seem to want to work. He sat there for what seemed like forever when he heard his name being called in the distance. The voice sounded distant. However, within only moments there was someone in front of him. Remus felt hands on his shoulders and he looked up into his father’s face before blacking out all over again.
