Lily walked her way up to the seventh floor. She decided to go to the Room of Requirement. It was one of Lily's favorite rooms, but then again who wouldn't like the room of requiremnt. It was pretty ingenious after all, a room that could give you pretty much anything you wanted. Obviously you wouldn't be able to get something like food out of it, as that was one of the five Principal Exceptions to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration. Other then that you have to admit, the room is pretty amazing.
Lily walked across the Tapestry three times, before the giant door appeared in front of her. Lily still remembered the day she found this room. The door had appeared out of nowhere and scared her almost half to death. She'd found it during the beginning of her third year. Ever since then, she loved spending time here, especially to spend some time alone. It was a nice place to get some thinking done.
Lily opened the door in front of her and made her way inside. Right now it looked a lot like the Gryffindor Common Room, only it wasn't crowded. She made her way over to the big red couch in the center of the room and sat down in front of the fire. Lily loved reading right by the fire. There was just something very relaxing about it. She reached for her current book, that she rented from the Library and started reading it. It was the Notebook. It was her favorite kind of book, a muggle romance novel. Lily enjoyed wizarding world books too, but muggle books are her favorite.

Listen to the sound from deep within It's only beginning to find release. The time has come for my dreams to be heard They will not be pushed aside and turned Into your own all 'cause you won't listen Andromeda Black stormed out of the common room fuming with rage. Her sister was unbelievable. Dromeda was looking forward to having Bellatrix out of her shoes. It seemed like Bella thought it was her duty to spy her every movement and Andromeda wouldn't have that. She stopped outside the portrait hole and inhaled deeply. Meda clutched the book she had been reading to her chest and stared down at her feet. All she wanted was Theodore, but Andromeda knew he was studying for a test and didn't want to interrupt him.
In the end, the Sixth Year Slytherin decided to find a quiet spot to resume her reading. The grounds would be an ideal spot, yet again with the sun shining proudly in the sky more students were bound to be outside. After several minutes of pondering her options, Meda came to the perfect conclusion. The Room of Requirment. Smiling slightly to herself she hurried up staircase after staircase until she reached the seventh floor. Andromeda strolled casually down the corridor and only stopped when she was standing in front of the tapestry of Barnaby. Meda stared at it for several seconds before taking a deep breath.
She wrinkled her nose slightly and walked in front of the tapestry three times while thinking I need somewhere quiet to read... I need somewhere quiet to read... I need somewhere quiet to read... When she was done, the wall glowed faintly and the frame of a door appeared. Andromeda glanced up and down the corridor before pushing the door open and slipping inside. She rested her forehead against the cool wall and sighed softly to herself. As she turned around, a small scream escaped her lips. She jumped on the spot and clutched one hand over her chest while muttering, "Sorry... I hadn't realised it was already occupied."

Lily smiled looking up at the Older Slyterhin girl. "No it's fine, go ahead come sit down. I don't mind the company really" She said, looking up at Andromeda. "Er you're Andromeda right?" she asked. Sometimes it was hard to tell with just their looks. They looked so similar, well except Narcissa. Lily knew she was the blonde one. "I'm Lily" she said introducing herself. "If you don't already know that anyway" she said, trailing off. She was Sirius cousin, so Lily had no idea if Andromeda knew who Lily was or not. She didn't know if Andromeda was close to James or not and Merlin knows James could never keep his mouth shut.
Then again if this HAD been Bellatrix Lily knew the girl wouldn't be this nice. Bellatrix were the kind of people who hated Lily just because she was a muggle-born. Chances are that if it had been her to walk in here, not only would insults probably have been thrown her way, but a few hexes as well too. I mean it was common knowledge that Lily was a muggle-born, so it isn't like she could pretend otherwise. Of course Lily wouldn't, she was proud of who she was, but still. There was also no doubt that someone from such an old Pure-blood line, like the Blacks, would know other Pure-blood lines out there. There would be no way to fool them into thinking otherwise.

As someone told me lately: "Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!" And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free To those who'd ground me Take a message back from me Tell them how I am defying gravity Andromeda hesitated and glanced around the room cautiously, surprised at the Gryffindor’s attitude. She instantly recognised the red head… Lily Evans. Sirius had mentioned her to him. He used to entertain her with tales of James attempting to impress her. Meda was friends with both boys and wondered if Lily was aware of that. Sirius had always been her favourite relative and to be honest she envied his courage. Andromeda was determined to leave with Teddy once they finished Hogwarts, but she would never dare even mention his name in front of her family. She was pleased that Lily knew who she was and hadn’t mistaken her for Bellatrix.
Their personalities where like day and night but sometimes students still avoided her, thinking she is Bella. Andromeda crossed the room and sat down on a huge comfortable cushion. She sank amidst the folds of fabric and giggled quietly to herself. Meda looked at the Gryffindor sheepishly and said tentively, “Thank you. My cousin has a high opinion of you.” She also knew that Lily Evans was the most talented of her year. Slughorn often said that her skills matched Bella’s, something her sister was not fond of. Poor child, as if she needed something else to be on Bella’s black book. It was no secret that Lily was muggle-born and her sister, like most of her family, resented anyone who was not a pure blood.
Andromeda knew that Severus had been quite close with the girl before her and she could see in the way he looked at her that he missed her. She even suspected that he had a crush on her, but it was never her place to comment. Meda could understand what Sevvy was going through. However, she wondered why he hadn’t attempted to remain friends with Lily. Andromeda shrugged to herself and smiled at Lily. She made herself more comfortable and rested her book on her knees. Meda glanced at the book in Lily’s hand and her lips parted to form a small o. She leaned forwards and said unconsciously, “Teddy has been promising me that book for ever. Is it any good?”

Lily set her book down for a second. She didn't want to be reading it while she talked. That would be quite rude. She'd never go and do something like that on purpose, be rude. Usually it's only if the person was up and rude to Lily. "Sirius really?" she seemed shocked to hear that. Lily didn't hate sirius, but they sure didn't get along most of the time and she never knew he would think something like that. James, now he was a different story. "I never knew that" she admitted afterwords and just shrugged. Then again she wasn't all that close to Sirius either, especially not how close James was.
Lily looked over at her, at her question. "Um, so far yeah it is, but I haven't got too far into it yet. I just started it actually" she replied, being honest. She wished she could tell Andromeda more, but she just couldn't. She didn't really know everything about the book yet, so she couldn't. "So what brings you here?" she asked the older Slytherin. "Trying to get away from everyone?" she guessed. It was really the only thing that made sense, besides the room of requirement was quite peaceful. That's what Lily really liked about it. Plus there were only that small portion of the student body who knew about it, well considering how many kids were here at this school anything would be considered small. The bottom line was not the entire student body knew how to access this room. There was a smaller chance of running into a crowd of people.

Listen to the sound from deep within It's only beginning to find release. The time has come for my dreams to be heard They will not be pushed aside and turned Into your own all 'cause you won't listen Her pale cheeks reddened slightly. Of course she wouldn't know. Andromeda couldn't imagine Sirius ever telling Lily such a thing. She leaned forwards and said hurriedly, "Oh... please don't tell him I said that. You know how he is with retaining his reputation and all that." Andromeda laughed nervously and shrugged. Meda nibbled her lower lip and hugged the open book to her chest, looking at Lily with wide eyes. She nodded in response to Lily's words and said, "Oh I see." Andromeda paused and blushed once again. She hugged her knees up her body and asked sheepishly, "Do you... do you uhm think I could burrow it when you're done? I hope I am not sounding too rude..."
Andromeda let out a long sigh at the Gryffindor's question. She leaned back in the cushion and shrugged. Meda looked down and started picking at a corner of her book. She eventually looked up and shook her head. "Only Bella," she said bitterly. Andromeda knew that her sister knew of this room, but it was unlikely that she would visit it at this hour. Bellatrix would never miss the opportunity of taunting other students, especially the ones who didn't belong to their house. Meda let out another sigh and asked weakly, "What about you? Gryffindors too noisey?" She sounded serious, but was smiling slightly. Andromeda was not particularly fond of Gryffindors because most of them stereotyped her.

Lily laughed a little. "You're secret is safe with me" she replied, when Andromeda asked her not to tell Sirius what she said. Though it would be extremely funny, lily was never the type of person who would go and tell people th ings if others didn't want her to. She was pretty good at keeping secrets and was a pretty honest person. She was never the type of person to go back on her word.
Lily shook her head, when Anromeda said she hoped she wasn't being rude. "That's not rude at all. I mean I don't mind, of course you can borrow it when I'm done" Lily said with a nod. "I'll um...send you and owl or something" she said thinking of away she could contact her when she's done. Okay sure she could get another slytherin to give it to Andy, namely Severus, but an owl would work too.
Lily nodded again, when Andromeda mentioned it was only Bella who she was trying to get away from. At her next question, Lily shrugged. "Not really, I mean okay they have their moments, Especially Potter for that matter, but it's nothing I can't handle" she said with a small laugh. Yes Lily hated how James would never leave her alone, although she had to admit lately he wasn't doing it as much. Then again she hadn't seen him in awhile, so that could be it too. Since he wasn't around he couldn't actually bug her.

As someone told me lately: "Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!" And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free To those who'd ground me Take a message back from me Tell them how I am defying gravity Meda broke into a smile. She felt reassured by Lily’s words and said, “Thanks. I appreciate that.” From the little she knew about Lily, Andromeda knew she could trust her. She seemed like a nice girl and hoped that James knew how lucky he was. Meda knew he was very arrogant and full of himself, but hopefully he will be able to treat this girl with the respect she deserves. Andromeda smiled at Lily’s next words. Her eyes twinkled slightly and she replied, “Thank you… yes an owl would be fine.” To be honest, she was concerned with having Lily send an owl to her. Meda knew that Bella went through her mail from time to time, for incriminating evidence. She knew she had to be extra careful and with some luck, Bella will not find out.
She offered a weak smile at Lily’s words. Andromeda sighed softly to herself. Being muggleborn, Lily probably had it worse than her but Meda couldn’t help but wish that her problems matched the Gryffindor’s. At least Lily never tried to hide who she truly was. Andromeda looked at her sadly before opening her book and burying her nose in its pages. She was simply staring and frowning at the words as if they didn’t make any sense. After five minutes or so, she closed the book with a sigh and leaned back in her seat. Meda stared up at the ceiling in silence, not wanting to interrupt Lily.
