Andromeda is 5'6 tall and weighs around 112 lbs. She has thick shiny long brown hair and chocolate brown almond shaped eyes. Meda is rathet thin and has a pale unblemished complexion. The highlight of her face are her cupid lips and a permanent light blush on her cheek bones. Andromeda has no piercings and/or tattoos. However, she has a birth mark on her right shoulder blade and a thin scar on her hip. Meda is not very fond of robes and/or gowns, she prefers more mugglish clothes like jeans and plan t shirts. She likes bright colours and more often than not she wears bangles around her wrists and a castity ring. Andromeda isn't a fan of make up, however, she enjoys eye liner and mascara.

Andromeda is a determined girl with a cheerful personality. She is very strong and is not scared easily. Meda is feisty, witty, hot tempered and easily irritated. She is a reserved person and rarely shares her thoughts and such with her peers. Meda can be very stubborn and determined to get her way, whether she's right or wrong. Her mother insists that she is elegant, but in fact Meda is very clumsy. She is also calculating and tends to be a neat freak. Meda doesn't like failing or being told off. She is rather independent and although she resents her parents’ ideology, she is constantly seeking to attract their attention. Andromeda has always been over considerate of other people and their feelings. She would not be able to hurt anyone deliberately [except for Bellatrix]. She tries to cheer up others when they need it. Andromeda is a perfectionists, especially when it comes to school work and grades. Once starting something, she becomes determined to finish it no matter what it takes. Andromeda is an ace when it comes to lying and deceiving. She doesn’t do this as a hobby, but only when she’s around her family [or when she desperately wants to wriggle out of a detention]. Even though she’s considered as the black sheep, Meda lead them to believe that she would always be loyal to the family. The truth is that as soon as she finishes Hogwarts, Andromeda intents to run away with her current muggleborn boyfriend Ted Tonks.

What a bitter story of love:
Cygnus and Druella [nee Rosier] Black were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa. The three sisters couldn’t be any more different from each other. Bellatrix and Andromed were both dark haired with a similar bone structure while Narcissa was blonde and petite. Nonetheless, Bella and Meda’s personalities were far from similar. Being the eldest in an aristocratic household, it seemed inevitable that Bellatrix was the favourite of their parents. She was always the first in everything, no matter how hard Andromeda tried. Born on the 12th of February 1959, middle child Andromeda was never threatened by her baby sister. She was very fond of her and would do anything for her as Narcissa was the only one who didn’t judge her, at least not out loud. Andromeda’s childhood had been a constant struggle against Bellatrix and their mother Druella. They were always breathing down her neck, examining her every move and ready to snap at her ever mistake. In her early years, she used to seek refuge in her father’s comforting arms but as she grew older he refused to put up with her nonsense. Cygnus believed it was about time that Andromeda started accepting their strict ideology.

Despite what everyone told her, Andromeda was as beautiful and smart as Bellatrix. Her magical abilities first manifested themselves when she was three years old, during an argument with Bella. Although she was very young, Meda would never forget the punishment she got for blasting her sister out of the window. Her happiest year as a child was when Bellatrix started Hogwarts. Without Bella in the house, her mother didn’t feel the need to compare Meda’s behaviour to anyone’s. Her only disappointment was her father monopolising Narcissa. Nonetheless, she didn’t mind spending time on her own. A year later, she received her own letter from Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin. The latter brought immense joy and pride to her parents, a feeling that didn’t last long. Andromeda was never fussy about blood issues and much to Bella’s annoyment, she used to mingle with everyone. She was constantly receiving Howlers from home reminding her who she was and how she should behave. Sick of the all the embarrassment the howlers caused, Andromeda came up with a plan. She started leading an isolated life and made an effort to hang with fellow Slytherins. To her delight [and surprise] the howlers stopped and things were more bearable at home.

Everything changed, when she met muggleborn Theodore Tonks. Andromeda fell in love the first time she saw him and she was rather pleased to learn that the feeling was mutual. Andromeda started spending a lot of time with Teddy. Her biggest mistake was kissing him in public. Bellatrix had witnessed the scene and immediately reported it to their mother. Andromeda was given hell, however, she was not ready to give up Teddy because of the pureblood ideology. For her sake, Teddy agreed to discretion. Andromeda was now in her sixth year at Hogwarts. Still madly in love with Theodore… and still behaving like a proper pureblood. For how long will she be able to keep on lying? How long will it be until someone stumbles across their secret meetings and expose her? Andromeda tried not to think of this. She kept a positive attitude and decided to live her life day by day. She is looking forward to graduating school, running away with Teddy and marrying him. She also wanted to become a healer and have a family with her beloved Mr. Tonks.

Flashback

It was a mid december afternoon and Andromeda Black was in the house 's library curled up in an armchair reading a muggle book, that one of her friends from school had lent her. Andromeda brought the book closer to her face in anticipation, her nose almost brushing against the pages.

... Milly was forced to look straight into his eyes. She felt her pulse quicken as his emerald orbs gazed down into hers. Bobby Giles, was everything a woman could wish for and more. A light blush tinged her pale cheeks when she caught Bobby staring down her clevage. He gently stroked her cheek and started moving closer. Milly parted her lips ever so slightly and leaned forwards, her eyes already closed. Moments later...

As the book was ripped out of her hands, Andromeda looked up with a frown. Bellatrix was standing next to her, holding the book as if it was disgusted by it. Meda reached for the book but Bellatrix moved backwards with a chuckle. "Give it back," she said through gritted teeth. Bella's smirk widened and she replied, "I am sure mother would be delighted to know what sort of books her pureblood daughter reads."

Meda jumped to her feet and started moving towards Bellatrix. Her sister's eyes flickered to the roaring fire and she gingerly tossed the book amidst the flames. Meda's eyes blazed with anger and she lunged at Bellatrix. Moments later, the door swung open and Druella used a spell to pull Andromeda away from Bellatrix. "Andromeda Cassiopeia Black! Go straight to your bedroom." she said sternly. "But mother, she..." began Andromeda. Druella cut her off and added threatengly, "Not another word."

Andromeda clenched her hands into fists and looked from her sister to her mother with pure hatred. She stared at Bella's scratched cheeks and shouted, "I hope they leave a scar." Before giving her mother a chance to speak, she run out of the library knowing this was not the end of it.

Andromeda's in her sixth year, which means her date of birth should be 12/02/1959 instead of 12/02/1953. So that needs to be changed in her history and the date of birth thing.
