Well my lovelies, what an uneventful month at Hogwarts. There's been no more sitings of Remus Lupin, Gryffindor fifth year and his little Saige Logan, same year and house as Mister Lupin. Perhaps things just did not work out for the pair, maybe Miss Logan could not handle the spotlight. Whatever has happened, I can only say it was probably deserved. Mister Lupin, you now know how Miss Monoceros Iolite Dolohov, Hufflepuff seventh year, felt when you broke her heart for the ridiculously plain and uninteresting, Miss Logan.
As for the rest of the school, nearly everyone has tried flying under the radar, such a shame, but this reporter always, somehow, stumbles across a few things.
Firstly, a mention to my dear friend and fellow house mate Tanith Malfoy. She's such a little darling and I wish her luck in her muggle-rights campaign. If anyone has anything they'd like to contribute to the beautiful and near silent Miss Malfoy's protest for equal rights for muggles and muggle born witches and wizards, then please feel free to approach her in the common room, library or corridors, but please, try not to disturb her in lessons, she's entitled to an education as much as everyone else.
Dorcas Meadowes and Adrian Nott, both seventh year Slytherins, were seen together once more,. The lovely Miss Meadowes strangely sober this time. Who knows, maybe Mister Nott is having a positive effect on the hormonal lass? Maybe she's decided it's nearly time to settle down? Maybe the pair will be most happy together but this reporter is hearing reports of an arranged marriage for Mister Nott, to a different woman. I'll reveal who it is next month, in the meanwhile, feel free to write in with your theories on who you think it might be. My favourite ones will be included in next months newsletter along with the name of the lucky lady. But how will Miss Meadowes react to finding out her rival? Only time will tell.
In other news, your favourite reporter would like to put out a big welcome to George Järvinen! George Järvinen was sorted into Ravenclaw not long ago after transferring to Hogwarts from being home schooled by his pure blooded parents in Finland. Welcome to Hogwarts George, we hope you enjoy your time here and get the full experience Hogwarts has to offer.
Out on a date this month, soon after the meeting at the Hallowe'en ball as well as the Hufflepuff party, Vanessa Laurentius and Jacob Kirke, Hufflepuff seventh years, were spotted on a cute little date through Hogsmeade and it seems, all though love has been harsh to some, it is still in the air for others. I'm sure Vanessa is getting many well wishes from her best friend, Emma who formerly had a thing for the young singer, though Vanessa, watch out, when you're on a morning date with someone that's drinking a bottle of whiskey, it's not usually a good sign, but each to their own, eh?!
Okay my lovelies, that's it for this month. A short and sweet update of things going on through Hogwarts last month. Don't forget to approach Tanith Malfoy, fifth year Slytherin, if you wish to help out with the muggle-rights campaign.
