Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Callum was born into a completely Muggle family. His parents, who aren't the most intelligent people in the world, assumed his magic had to do with something like physics, and didn't think that their child actually possessed magical powers. He was born with a family of four older sisters, all of whom were about as bright as a burnt-out light bulb. They picked on him, and enjoyed breaking his glasses on a regular basis, which caused him to only wear his glasses on occasion instead of all the time.
When Callum got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, they had all assumed it was one of his older sisters' doings, and didn't believe it one bit. Callum, being somewhat gullible anyways, hoped more than anything that it was real. Up until this point, his intelligence and scrawny body was overlooked by his older sisters' beauty and therefore made him think that he was boring, and that he wasn't being paid attention to. Only when the Headmaster came to them and proved what he was (which Callum's mother originally called 'black magic') did his parents allow him to go.
Callum was ecstatic that he was something special, although he did get beaten up by his sisters many times for never shutting up about it. When he went to Diagon Alley to get his supplies, his sisters were luckily not allowed to go, and therefore putting Callum in the spotlight for the first time in his life.
When he got to Hogwarts, he was immediately placed into Ravenclaw, to his great pleasure. From then on out, he made a hand-full of friends, but not really a best-friend, as most of his friends believed that he talked way too much. He was liked well enough, and liked to always be in on a joke. He never went for having a girlfriend, not because he wasn't interested, but merely because he was 'friend zoned' by all of them. Besides, his occasional tendency to check out guys also hindered his wanting to ask out any girls.
