Serena took to the stairs just down the hall and past her common room. Some stupid boy had burnt up her homework and ruined the parchments that she was doodling things about her book on. She was a very sensitive sort of girl and usually kept to herself and so others in return never noticed her existence. It worked perfectly. But now it seemed that no matter how quiet she was some boys just liked to cause trouble and make people upset.
Serena had tears down her face and as she ran through the corridors she passed various people coming out of their classes. She felt terribly claustrophobic all at once and dizzy as though she were about to faint. She needed fresh air and she needed it fast because she was starting to get quite sick.
Running down the grand staircase and through the entrance hall was tricky. Students were on their way down to lunch and although Serena was hungry she would not stop due to the sicky feeling in the pit of her stomach. If she ate now she might very well bring it back up again in just a few moments.
Finally she was outside and she took a deep breath. She wiped her face of tears and took another deep breath. She felt better almost immediately but decided that maybe she should stay outside for a little longer just to make sure she was alright. So she sat on the steps leading up to the castle. They were damp and all the grounds completely fogged up. She couldn't even see ten meters in front of her. She just hoped it didn't rain.

If there was one thing Frank was grateful for right now it was Scottish weather. You didn't get fog like this in London 'Unfortunately' and before you ask, yes this was a bad thing. In London where you didn't get fog thick enough to hide you from view you couldn't smoke where ever you wanted but here, in Scotland, standing at the bottom of the enterance stairs to a boarding school you could light up without fear of a professor seeing you from down the hall. And that is exactly what Frank was doing, sitting on the bottom step he had a slim hand rolled cigarette held between his index finger and thumb as he inhaled slowly though the unlit end. Smiling to himself Frank felt his shoulder relax slowly as the tension left him, he had just had THE worst transfiguration NEWT's prep class in the history of Hogwarts he was sure. He had managed to transfigure his desk into a pig alright but turns out his pig had a taste for human meat and had tried to take a chunk out of Professor McGonagall's leg. He could still hear the shrill screams of the girls in his NEWT's class when blood pouring from the demon pigs mouth. He was DOOMED! NEWT's where less than 6 months away and he needed transfiguration to get into auror training. Another puff on the now slightly soggy cigarette 'Well now I know why no one else is out here smoking' Frowning at the soggy white stick he flicked it annoyance out onto the lawns, it would be gone before the fog was so no one be any the wiser. He had been sitting there listening to everyone moving around the hall behind him for 5 minutes before she arrived. He didn't know her by name but he had seen her around the library a few times, she had just looked so absorbed in her work that he had never wanted to interrupt her to introduce himself 'Nows a good time Frank'"Hello" He paused, what did one say to someone who randomly sat down beside you in a blanket of fog? "You know this fog tastes like caramel?" 'Its doesn't! Why did you say that? 'COMMENT: Am I okay to join with my crappy post?
