Clothing: click meeeWord Count: 346 Ooc: blah Being a 6th year was definitely a lot more work than being a 5th year, Lena had discovered fairly quickly. Her life was just a massive amount of running back and forth between classes and she barely had time to herself anymore, let alone hanging out with her friends. She sometimes found time to hang out with Remus because they lived together in the tower so could study together and everything but Katsurou was a Hufflepuff and so they didn’t get to spend much time together which annoyed her a bit. She really needed a life outside of classes and soon. The Halloween party had been pretty great, she could admit that. That had been lots of fun dancing and partying, even if there was the occasional bought of drama. But that was to be expected at every party function. She just needed more than that to do.
Lena sighed to herself as she left her last class of the day, so grateful that it was done and could just relax, get some dinner, maybe find time to hang out with her friends. No homework for the day, thankfully. She had worked her tail off during classes that day so she wouldn’t have to do homework. She needed at least one night where she didn’t have to worry about school and hopefully that could be that night. She slowly made her way toward the Great Hall for dinner, wasting time. Dinner wouldn’t start for a good bit longer but if she went to the tower, she wouldn’t leave it again that night. So slowly moseying down the stairs toward the Great Hall was pretty much her only choice in the situation but Lena didn’t mind too much. She started humming to herself in the quiet, everyone else in her class having run off by that point in time. As far as she knew, she was alone so she didn’t mind humming loudly and enjoying herself. She probably should pay more attention to her surroundings but it truly wasn’t at the forefront of her mind just then.

Callum held a book open in his one eyes, focusing hard as he used his peripheral vision to avoid other students. He occasionally nudged his glasses further up his face. Unlike most students at Hogwarts who wore glasses, Callum found that he was possibly the only one who didn't require his glasses all of the time. He only usually needed them for reading and taking down notes (which usually fell hand-in-hand). However, not even in glasses really helped him for walking and reading at the same time. The occasional shoulder brushed him, and he did his best to apologize when it happened.
The book he was reading was not a text book. It was a tale about an underdog wizard who managed to woo the girl of his dreams by performing once-in-a-lifetime magic, which he isn't able to ever do again. The girl becomes irritated that he can no longer do the magic, and therefore leaves him. Heartbroken, the boy gives up magic forever and decides to be a Muggle, deciding that it is no longer worth it. It's only when his childhood girl friend comes back into his life and needs help does he perform the magic again and save her that he realizes that it was the first girls' constant negativity that caused his magic to weaken, and that he had it in him the whole time. It was admittedly a little cheesy, but Callum didn't mind. It had been his favourite book when he was younger, and he made sure to read it at least once a year since then.
The hallways soon cleared, but Callum just took it as ample opportunity to get more into the plot. He didn't expect a girl to come into his path, and furthermore he hadn't expected to run into her. When he did, two things happened at once: his book went flying to the floor, and his glasses got smashed up into his face.
"Uggghhh," Callum complained as he took off his glasses as fast as he could, and brought his hands to his eyes, which were now hurting due to the glasses being shoved into them. After a few moments, he took his hands away from his (now red) eyes and looked at the girl and said, "I'm sorry, are you alright? I didn't mean to run into you, I guess I was just really into my book."
From what he could see, the girl looked fine. Better than him, in the very least.
