Andromeda rushed out of her house this morning and was pulling her hair up as she was rushing down the street. She was planning on using the Floo network this morning, but her sister was in the living room, and after the night before with her sister complications, she wasn't sure if she wanted to deal with her again. She would just take the muggle entrance for those who didn't have Floo Network in their homes. She was carrying her briefcase, the strap hanging loosley from her shoulder. She had her robes, but she didn't feel like wearing them out in London. She wasn't super accustomed to stares quite yet. She wore a pair of very dark denim jeans and a peach colored cardigan that was too big, but it just accented her skinny legs. Her hair was messily put up, due to lack of time.
She reached her office just in time, and pulled on her intern robes over her sweater, though she kept them open and loose, not a favorite by her bosses. She didn't really care this morning. Bella made her feel like shit the night before... again, and she just woke up late and on the groggy side. She spent the next couple of hours doing paperwork and filing it. She was sending owls for her bosses and cleaning up the offices. At one point, she hoped to be more than just another secretary. If she really wanted to be a secretary, she would just live in the muggle world. Now she had to pass out files, which couldn't be owled through the building, by hand, and was sent on a wild goose chase looking for Ministry official after official throughout the whole building. She was in a bit of a tizzy, carrying a stack full of files. She stepped off the elevator on the third floor and tripped over something. Her and the files went plummeting to the floor.

Life was brilliant. He left his small flat in London that he'd been living in for about a year now, after moving out of his parents home. And headed for Ministry. He greeted a few people before he made his way in through the floo. Once inside the Ministry building he brushed off his pants. Just a natural thing after leaving the floo network. Being muggleborn, Ted always felt lucky that he was in the magical world and got to learn all the wonderful magical things. He hummed to himself. As he headed for the elevators.
He arrived on his floor and was about to make his way to his office when he saw her. Andromeda Black. She's just tripped and papers went flying everywhere. Ted rushed over and began to help her gather the papers. He'd have done this for anyone. he was just a kind person like that. There to help others. That was why he got a job in the accidental magic reversal squad. To help, fix bad magic Ted was good with a wand. And very good with his hands. Coming from a working class muggle family.
He gathered a stack of getting just about all of them, before handing them to her. "Here you go Miss Black, I do hope that your day gets much better, not the best of ways to start of a days work" He told her with a charming smile. Ted was charming to everyone he met. His mum had taught him that everyone was important, he was for the most part a down to earth gentleman. Just all the men in his family, both sides. Centuries back, The Tonks men were charming, and all the men on his mother's side were as well. It was in his blood to do well and charm the women. He took a few steps back not sure what else to say to Andromeda.

Andromeda looked up as she saw somebody on the floor with her, helping her pick up papers. She paused. This face looked familiar. She looked back down at her pile of papers and got them all in a clump and stood up slowly. Today was not the day to wear heels. She was having some trouble. It was then, as she stood and Ted handed her the papers, that she recognized him. It was Ted Tonks. He was in her year, but in a different house, Hufflepuff, she thought. Her sisters hated him so he must have been a muggleborn. It had been quite a few years since she had seen Ted, and he had certainly grown up. He had grown into his body, which was awkward as a teenager, but was not very attractive. His baby face was gone, and replaced with one with a bit of a beard.
"Here you go Miss Black, I do hope that your day gets much better, not the best of ways to start of a days work" Miss Black. ugh, it reminded her of Bellatrix. His voice had definitely dropped a bit too since she had last seen him. She looked at him for a moment, making sure it was actually him. "I... know you. Don't I? Ted Tonks, right? Thank you so much. And please, call me Andromeda at least. Miss Black is far too formal."
She smiled at him. Wearing heels, he was still a fair few inches taller than her. He must be a half a foot taller than her when she's barefoot. "How are you Ted? I haven't seen you in ages." TAGGED|| TEDDY TONKSNOTES|| OMG... "I... know you. Don't I? Ted Tonks, right? Thank you so much. And please, call me Andromeda at least. Miss Black is far too formal." Ted Gave her a nod. "Yes, I am Ted, we went to school together, Alright Andromeda it is. He told with a smile. If she didn't like formalities that was fine. Not everyone did. And to Be honest he was one of those people, but be was raised to be polite to people, so thats the way he was. "How are you Ted? I haven't seen you in ages."
Ted gave her a nod, "Quite, well. Been keeping myself busy since we got out of school. Did some jobs in the muggle world before getting one here. Mum told me that I shouldn't have to have a muggle job, to go get a wizarding one, after all I'm wizard" Ted found himself mumbling out to her. Pretty much that he was in fact muggle born. But truly Andromeda didn't seem like she minded that he was a muggle born. Not like the rest of the Black's who would have cruccioed or worse killed him by now.
That was one thing that Ted didn't like or truly understand. He was just as good of a wizard as anyone else. He should be treated like it. Just because of his blood he always felt like others treated him as if he was less. Ted pulled himself out of his thoughts, "How about you? Been well?" He questioned. It was rude not to ask such a question back.Ted Jayson Tonks, was far from rude. With a smile, he awaited what he hoped would be a good answer.

She smiled because she was glad she remembered his name. She would've felt bad otherwise. She held her books tightly in front of her chest and listened to him as he spoke. She felt a little nervous and she wasn't really sure why. She just had those butterflies for some reason, and she couldn't completely understand it. "Quite, well. Been keeping myself busy since we got out of school. Did some jobs in the muggle world before getting one here. Mum told me that I shouldn't have to have a muggle job, to go get a wizarding one, after all I'm wizard" She giggled. That made sense to her. If she would've gotten a muggle job, her mother would've disowned her, but she actually wanted one.
Dromeda looked at him, and actually looked at him. He had definitely grown up since she had last seen him. His face was a bit more sculpted, like the baby face went away, the one that she remembered from him. His hair was longer than it used to be, and it just fell around his face so well. It looked like he ran his hand through it before he left the house, but that was about it. His lip had like a permanent smirk on his face, but when he smiled at her it was a bit warmer. He was so much taller than her, but not so tall that it was awkward. She was also wearing heels though. He looked tense, but he didn't look so tense that he was serious. It was an effortless thing, his attitude was, at least at this moment, which made herself feel more comfortable around him and made it seem more casual.
She looked up at the big clock on the wall, and realized that she was running late. "How about you? Been well?"
She smiled, and really wanted to speak to him, but she knew that if she was late, her boss was going to kill her. "I'm actually running late, but I was wondering if maybe we could go out for coffee, and then we could chat more, ya?" She looked hopefully at him.
