Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Born into one of the most prestigous families in their time, Rabastan has nearly been overshadowed by his bother Rodolphus and his significant other, Bellatrix Black. Both families are of great stature that he can sometimes find it difficult to hold the weight on his shoulders. Being the last Lestrange at Hogwarts, he has to follow in the deep footsteps Rodolphus had panned out for him. Though intelligent, he is still young, and reckless, but not nearly as reckless as some of the Slytherins. Rabastan holds pride in his name, and his brother, but there will forever be differences. Rodolphus is of quiet sort, Rabastan, not so much, he loves to make a scene when it involves pain.
There is always more to learn, painting the Lestrange name on the walls in Hogwarts is a difficult task, when you have to live up to your brother's reputation, but where there is struggle, success is that much more sweet. Even though the brothers have their differences, it doesn't stop Rabastan looking up at Rodolphus as an idol, a role-model of sorts.
When it comes to school itself, Rabastan finds some classes easier than others, he's always had a hell of a time when it came to diviniation, but potions and defense against the dark arts, those two were a breeze. He wasn't on the bad side of a majority of teachers, but a select few. He took pride in his marks, and he always knew he was intelligent, even if he had to do extra work to understand something so simple. Sports always came last, he loved to watch quidditch, but would much rather indulge in the less spectacular game of Wizards Chess.
He never had eyes for the women, though attractive, his schooling was far to important, but it didn't keep him away from his close knit circle of friends. He was a fair dueler, much up on the higher scale, not as good as Rodolphus, that was a given, but he enjoyed every minute of it. Laughter would erupt when he landed a spell, it was a rare sight, but dueling got the best of him. Howls of glee stormed from his lungs when he harmed another, but it was in his blood, he lived for pain, and could dish back whatever he took.
