the rules.

basics;

´´ use a proper (and full) character name. we don't want a (l)draco-4eva on the board, instead you can use 'draco malfoy'. you can choose how you portray your name though, different styles are accepted.
´´ before you can start rp-ing, post your application in the pending area and wait till one of the admins approves. this also counts for the ic c-box!
´´ we'd love you to have a signature for your charries, but please don't stretch the board, else the admins will have to remove your pic until it's cropped.
´´ no posting anywhere on the board until you have been accepted, with the exceptions of the canon list, questions and suggestions, celebrity claim* and advertising board

*with the celebrity claim, you can only reserve a celebrity before your application is complete, you cannot claim them until you have been accepted. you can only reserve your celebrity for three days

posting and activity;

to keep things short
´´ no god-modding. mary-& gerry sues. no avada kedavra-ing people without the permission of and admin and the person playing the character.
´´there is no word limit but absolutely NO one liners. Try and make at least a few decent paragraphs, or give back what you've received from other players if you can. do not use chat speak.
´´ activity must be kept as high as possible, therefore we ask you to come on at least twice a weak and make three in-character posts. if you're not able to come on for a week, we'd like you to warn us beforehand in the vacation section.
´´ points will be awarded for every post you make. go and claim your post in the house point section.
´´ post in third person, past tense only.

characters:

´´ when applying do it as follows: LASTNAME, firstname middlename(e.g. MEADOWES, dorcas renata) you will not be accepted if this is not the case.
´´ each character needs his or her own account and you must post as that character from that account, no other.
´´ it doesn't matter how many characters you have, just keep them all active. do keep in mind that we want to keep the boy-girl ratio as equal as possible and as there are more girls than boys, for every two girls you make, ensure you create a male as your next character. you can however have as many male characters as you like.
´´ we accept creatures of almost any sort, vampire, werewolves, animagi; it doesn't matter. just make sure that if you choose one you keep it as 'realistic as possible' and stick to the HP Lexicon with these creatures abilities. the password for the application board is the very last word of the rules. also, keep in mind that this is a marauders site. we can't have it completely covered with other creatures. if you want that, you might want to try out another site.
´´ anything in the pending section for longer than a week will be denied. we don't want forms sitting there for months at a time, untouched. post it when it's ready if it's going to take a while to do.

´´ Image sizes. Maximum for signatures 500(w)x300(h), avatar 150(w)x300(h)

´´ be nice to others, fights are okay as long as they're ic! advertise in the right section. but mostly.. have fun!
