Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
I never knew my mother Though the way my father talked about her, I feel like I do know her. He said that she was the most beautiful women he had ever meet. It makes sense if you think about it, she was a Veela. He says I look just like her, from the long blonde hair to my bright blue eyes, but then that is all he will say. I really don’t know what happened to her, because I am afraid to ask. Anytime we encroach on the subject his eyes get glassy and he just disappears. He becomes someone I don’t know. He is not the strong wizard who raised a rebellious daughter. Instead he is a hollowed soul of the man he once was. I remind him of her. I can tell every time I sing in the shower or run down the hall in my socks, he tells me my mother used to do that, but then he says no more. I heard him tell a friend it is like living with a ghost in the house apparently I am my mothers daughter.
As I grew up, we grew apart. We used to be an inseparable team, father and daughter, but it is like I said they more I grew the more I reminded him of her. I know he loves me, but when my letter came I knew it was time for me to leave. I did not cry when the train left, because I knew it was time for a new adventure. My father was locked in past, and all I wanted to do was break free. Though the past has some chains that are harder to break. Sorted into Hufflepuff, I fit in because no one judged, and no one asked. Despite the family feel of the house I became the wild reckless girl that at home. I would give anything to those who asked, anything except my heart. The only time my heart was stolen was on the field, a quittage field. I feel in love with the sport. Feeling the rush of the air, the thrill of the victory I fell in love with the sport.
Life is not easy, but then again the easy things are never worth while. This year there are going to be no rules that can't be broken. I want to let people in. I want them to see more than a pretty face. I want them to see the girl underneth.
