Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Andromeda is the second daughter of Cygnus and Druella Black (née Rosier), and younger sister of Bellatrix Lestrange and older sister of Narcissa Malfoy. Walburga and Orion Black are her aunt and uncle on her father's side, and Sirius and Regulus Black her cousins. Evan Rosier may be a relative on her mother's side. Alphard Black is Andromeda's uncle by marriage, as well as her second cousin once removed. The Black family is who she is loyal too, though she is a bit of a black sheep in the family. Her family is completely magic oriented, and doesn't do anything without magic. They even have house elves, which Dromeda doesn't really like. Dromeda's family is completely wealthy, and so her mother has spent her time trying to buy Dromeda off so that she would act more like the rest of the Blacks.
Andromeda's life between the ages of 0 and 10 were pretty nonchalent. Her parents gave her and her sisters everything that they wanted. Bella was the bossy older sister who was a manipulative Black Bitch. Cissy was a little spoiled brat who received whatever she wanted. Dromeda looks a bit more like Bella than Cissy. Cissy has white blonde hair while Dromeda and Bella both are the dark haired beauties. Bella was always the most outgoing of the three of them, followed by Cissy and then herself. However, at large family gatherings, Andromeda at least had someone to talk to, her cousin Sirius. The two of them always seemed a bit at odds with the rest of the family and so the two of them cliqued from the beginning. As they got older, her sisters' circle of friends grew, and eventually they knew a lot of what would soon be their house at Hogwarts. When Bella got her letter for Hogwarts, she was thrilled, as was Dromeda because Bella had begun a new habit of being entertained by the torment of her black sheep sister.
Two years later, Dromeda received her letter for Hogwarts, and she was scared but excited. Her sister had been coming back the past two years with books that Dromeda had stolen and looked through and a wand, that she wasn't allowed to use, but flaunted around the house. Her whole family told them that they had all been sorted into Slytherin and that she must be sorted in it as well. Andromeda was frightened that she would be shown her true colors and not be sorted into Slytherin, making her once and for all, a black sheep. She wished, more than anything to be in Slytherin, to be like the rest of her family, and she ended up being in Slytherin after all.
After Sirius got to school, she became less interested in being in Slytherin, wishing she could've been as brave as Sirius and been sorted elsewhere. She survived through Hogwarts nonetheless, striving in Charms class and struggling in Potions. She and Slughorn didn't exactly see eye to eye. She passed though with all outstandings and accepted in her NEWT's, and she headed off to do some Ministry intern work in the Department of Magical Catastrophes, cleaning up magic gone awry that is seen by muggles.
