Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Bathsheba was born to Annie Hailbury and Harrison Babbling the fifth of January 1951. Her mother was from a well known muggle family but had been the only one in her family to develop magical powers though it was believed that her grandmother, Bathsheba's great-grandmother whom she is named after, was a witch. Harrison on the other hand came from a long line of male wizards while the females in his family were all squibs.
When Bathsheba was born, Annie decided to name her Bathsheba, after her grandmother in hopes that her daughter would not be a squib and would be able to fully enjoy the perks that magic offered. Whether the name was magical or just strong genes from both her parents, Bathsheba had magical powers, though they were't apparent until Bathsheba turned ten and accidentally set her cousins hair on fire. She was in a little trouble for thinking such bad thoughts but her parents were exceedingly proud at the same time. Just incase she had been born a squib, her parents had raised her to know about potions and ruins and things that didn't have to involve a wand. If their daughter was going to be a squib, they wanted her to be well educated in the ways of their kind.
Growing up Bathsheba spent a lot of time with her cousins. All her female cousins were squibs on her fathers side of the family and her male cousins magical. On her mothers side of the family none of her cousins were magical and she herself has a feeling that none of them ever will be again, though it happened once with her mother so she decided she wouldn't be surprised if some magic came from that family line again.
Being perfectly enveloped in magic from a young age her parents encouraged it any way they could and so anything magical she wanted, she got, whether she could use it or not. Her parents weren't overly wealthy, but thanks to them only having one child they were able to afford more things for their daughter than a family with the same income with more children.
Bathsheba's Hogwarts years were magical for the young witch. She applied herself more so to the subjects she hadn't been encouraged to learn by her parents than the ones she had been, but she always had a love for Ancient Ruins and three years after she graduated she heard her old Professor was retiring and snapped up the job, having kept it in her life even after Hogwarts.
Bathsheba has been working at Hogwarts now for over three years and does not partake in the wizarding war. She supports the Order of the Phoenix and offers her house for families in hiding when she is at Hogwarts but has very little else to do with it. Her main priority is Hogwarts and the students. Her love life is lacking but she has had a few boyfriends in the past but never anything seriously and she's always broken up with her boyfriends on bad terms due to what they've done to her.
