Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Gwenog Rosemary Jones was born to Clancey and Jocelyn Jones on the bright morning of April 28th. Her older sister Hestia was born a year before her. As Hestia and Gwenog grew up, the two girls were inseparable. They did everything together, from playing, to napping, to eating. They dressed the same and liked doing anything as long as they were doing it together. This made life pretty easy for their parents, who knew that the pair would always be looking out for one another. Now sixteen, the two are still protective of one another, and do look out for each other.
However, times change. By the age of six or seven, the two girls started to change. While Gwenog liked to rub her face in dirt and play cricket with the neighborhood boys, Hestia preferred to play dress-up and have tea parties with those boys’ sisters. They were still close, and shared a room (they would continue to share a room throughout their summers between Hogwarts), and loved each other like the sisters and best friends that they were, but they understood that they were becoming different people.
Gwenog spent a whole year alone with her sister at Hogwarts. At first she didn't understand why her sister had to go to a different school than her. Her parents decided that Hogwarts was the good icebreaker for telling their children that their mother was a witch. It was confusing at first, but Gwenog figured out during the summer after Hestia started but before the letter arrived, and sometimes very difficult for Gwenog to realize that she may never go to or even see Hogwarts, but her fears were put to rest soon enough.
Gwenog wasn't sure how they felt about the sorting ceremony. Though she would be excited to go to any house, she was worried that the sorting hat would place her with her sister. Still best friends, and closer than with anyone else, they still wanted to have a Hogwarts experience all their own. Thankfully, their wishes were fulfilled. Hestia was sorted into Hufflepuff and Gwenog was sorted into Ravenclaw, finally proving to the world that they did have very distinct personalities. The girls saw each other often around the school and did have many classes together, but they enjoyed having their own dormitories and common rooms.
Gwenog was ecstatic that she could be at the school. Everything was exciting to her, from her living arrangements, to her classes, to the Quidditch Pitch. She made many friends quickly and easily, and soon was known as the cute, quirky first year who had a big smile and some good jokes. She was always a flirt, and made a big scene by successfully flirting with some fifth year boys. Her dorm mates couldn’t believe her, and thought she was absolutely hilarious, loving her outgoing attitude. She quickly became the alpha of her group of friends, and by her third year was extremely popular in Ravenclaw house. Her flirtatious attitude didn’t cease, and she started having handfuls of short term boyfriends, who usually just ended up being good friends with her. By her fourth year, she was the new star beater on the Quidditch team, but her flirtation started earning her a reputation. She lost her virginity to the captain of the Ravenclaw team in her fifth year, and dated him briefly, but ended the relationship, turning it into more of a friends with benefits type deal (she had some serious commitment issues, the mere thought of the term ‘boyfriend’ was foreign to her). Her close friends don’t think much of her down-to-hook up attitude, but many girls judge her for it. She doesn’t care, and if asked about it just shrugs, or says that they’re probably jealous.
Gwenog is now in her seventh year, is a beater on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, and enjoys Transfiguration and participating in the dueling club. She is still extremely close with her sister Hestia.
