Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Matty tends to have fun with life and when you ask him to take something seriously he would rather not. The student is a bit of an odd character and if you are looking for a good time you know where to find him, usually chilling in the kitchen. A growing boy needs to eat. His family happens to be the closest thing to him and the red head loves them to no extent. The sixteen year old is half blood and his mother is a muggle. She shows very little interest in the wizarding world although when I come home from breaks she loves to be shown what I have learned. Matty happens to be terrible with the wand and once he caught his mother's lovely black hair on fire and his dad had to come to the rescue. He was banned from using magic in the house for a couple of weeks. At dinner though the three of them thought the bald patch was amusing and all his mother kept saying was "thank goodness I am a house wife". Family life is good but a bit overwhelming sometimes.
When Matty recieved his letter at the ripe age of eleven he could remember being so happy and bursting with excitement and also a bit home sick, he is a momma's boy. The years flew by with random hook-ups, easy passing grades, and explanations of his ever changing physical features but mostly his hair, since he likes to be playful. Lately though it has seemed that everyone is obsessed with muggleblood and their rights, Matty is not sure if he cares but if anyone starts messing with his mom or his close friends there will be a penalty. Matty is an easy going guy but do not push his buttons. As for school work Matty does not put to much effort into it but he somehow manages to excel above others. He calls it a gift but his dad says it is genetics that the Scamanders all have good memory and very little of the family actually studies. As for what Matty is going to be when he is older there is a strong possibility it has something to do within the ministry. While he loves being funny he also loves showing off power and importance.
