Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Ted was born, the fifth of May to Edward & Vivian Tonks, in a small muggle, community outside of London. His parents were simple muggles. His father was a doctor at the hospital, and his mother a stay at home mother. Things were simple and wonderful for Ted growing up. His parents weren't the richest of people but they got by just as well. And adored and loved their only son.
It was around the age of five that Ted first showed, signs of Magic. There was floating cookies, when his mother said that he couldn't have one before dinner. It started to get more frequent these things. When Vivian told Edward, it was suggested that Ted go see a shrink. Vivian wouldn't hear of it. Ignoring all the things, she just no longer told Edward things.
It was on Ted's eleventh birthday that things finally got explained. Sometime during his birthday dinner, an owl flew in and crashed right into the cake. His mother screamed and saw that there was a letter addressed to him. Ted Jayson Tonks. Everything odd that had been happening since the age of five was explained. Ted was a wizard. His father was not really amused.. thought it was some kind of joke. His mother was thrilled that her only son was something so wonderful.
A few months later, on September first Ted set off to Hogwarts, on the Hogwarts Express. He said goodbye to his mum and dad. (who still thought this was all a joke) And went off to his first year at Hogwarts. Ted got sorted into Hufflepuff. And began to settle into life at Hogwarts.
He went through his Hogwarts years in a stride. It was great. It was during his sixth year that he first saw her. Andromeda Black. By then.. he had know all about her family and how they thought people like him were scum. But Ted couldn't help but think she was lovely. He knew the chances of her ever looking at him in that way were next to nothing.
Finally the day came.. Ted graduated from Hogwarts. He took up a job, in the Ministry, Acidental Magic Reversal Squad. Feeling like it was silly to work in the muggle office. He'd have just gotten mad at the people there. He has been working there now for a number of years, now his father still thinks that his son being a wizard is some kind of joke, even though Ted has now shown him loads of spells. His mother has never been more proud of her son. Ted is happy. The only thing that would make him more happy is a dream that he will never have. Andromeda Black.
