Marauder Plot?! :D

There's a Remus, a Peter and a James already (and a Sirius on the way, I believe?) - time for a Marauder plot?!

Canon says the following: (don't kill me, I just found it online xP)
FIFTH YEAR
* James, Sirius and Peter manage to become Animagi
* Somewhere between fifth and seventh year the Marauders Map is made
* Snape shows his undies?
SIXTH YEAR
* Sirius shows Snape how to get past the Whomping Willow - drama etc.
* In the summer Sirius moves in at James' house?
SEVENTH YEAR
* James becomes Head Boy and starts datin Lily



So I thought it would be at least interesting to make a topic with all of us (once Sirius joins us?) when they reveal that they're animagi or a topic in which they accompany Rem during a full moon?
A topic with Snape would also be awesome, I suppose?
And we have pranks to plan, I guess - the Halloween Ball would be a nice opportunity, non?

Peter doesn't become an animagus until his seventh year, he's slow. As for a Sirius, well, haven't heard from the Sirius in a while.

I think the marauders map is slowly being made, maybe a rough, drawing/plans of the castle, not necessarily moving bits and people recognition just yet.

And Snapey doesn't show his undies until about end of may after the OWL exams

The sixth year and seventh year . . . .lets get to that when we reach it! lol

I think a topic for the boys would be a good idea, though Peter wont be there for a full moon one, as for Hallowe'en ball pranks, I'm going to start a topic probably the middle of this month, what pranks do you have in mind?

Yeah, I was thinking that around this time they could come up with the idea to make a map to see if there are any hidden rooms or anything in the gaps or something? And then the whole moving-stuff comes in later?

As for Halloween, maybe charm the decorations to do funny things to people (or Slytherins ) that pass them? 'Real' spiders would be interesting? Hmz. Just woke up, lemme think for a bit

Huh. I wonder why it is that I thought Peter didn't become one until his seventh year then? Whatever, he'd probably be slower than the other two who became animagi's before their fifth year I think.

This would work. If we start that topic at some point through out this year then that would be good, when we have all of us here.

I can imagine Peter's at least slower of more insecure and everything (Rem is more than happy to give him a pep talk about that, by the way, lol - also if Peter feels being a rat is not that spectacular, haha xD). I do think he should be the last to manage a full-on transformation, yeah, totally agree with you on that.

Yeah.. I would make a Sirius - but I already have Rem so that wouldn't work, heh xD

And I suppose a traditional 'spike the punch' would be a good option, too?

Anygays, Snapey just said in the c-box that the Shrieking Shack incident occurs in 5th year, not in 6th, and around Yule - so that would be rather soon, wouldn't it?
Also, we have a Sirius, w00t! We're complete!

Just to say I would love to do a topic on them becoming Animagi which according to Lexicon & other sources they learned it in their fifth year.

When they learned that Lupin was a werewolf, James, Sirius, and Peter set out to become Animagi so they could join him; they succeeded in their fifth year (PA18); James earned the nickname “Prongs” because his Animagus form was a stag (PA22)

I already have a thread in which Sirius transforms... cause it's January so I just kind of assumed he would have learned it by now... I was just thinking, why don't we get a thread together soon in which all the Marauders reveal to Remus what they are? Like maybe on a day that Remus is having a bad day for some reason... gets a bit moody sort of thing, or maybe even Remus & Sirius get into a petty fight about something. Say... Remus makes some sort of comment about Sirius caring about no one but himself, so Sirius gets his lovely temper and says something along the lines of, "If I didn't care about you, would I have learned how to do this for you?" and then BAM! Transforms.

I don't know, it's an idea xD Any other ideas would be appreciated too... I just want to get this together! =D Maybe Valentine's Day thing... say Remus gets turned down or ditched by a girl, Sirius claims it's no biggie, it's just one girl blah blah. I don't know. I'm just ranting out of boredom. xD

I'd think they'd have practiced during the summer holidays and then together in between classes when Rem had Prefect stuff to do or something. (:

Sorry for double posting, but.. I have it on good authority (e.g. Snapey's authority) that the incident with Snape and Sirius and Rem takes place in 5th year (which is.. this year!), because (and I quote l'awesome Snapey:) "in DH, Sev discusses the prank with Lily before the OWLs so it must be fifth year!!"

How can we not agree with that reasoning?
(Read: Bianca doesn't mind at all and would think it's awesome to play this, let's just forget about when etc., the book says so and else we'll have to wait an entire year xP)
