Lily had been shopping around Hogsmeade for awhile now. She wasn't sure how long exactly she'd been here, but she knew that it was well. awhile. The last place she decided to go though, was the three broom sticks. She preferred the Three Broomsticks over the Hogshead, mainly because the Three Broomsticks was cleaner. Before she headed back to the castle she decided she wanted to get herself a butterbeer. It was true that she could probably take the butterbeer too go, but decided that staying really wouldn't hurt all that much. As much as she loved the castle, it was nice to get out of hogwarts grounds for awhile.
She pushed open the door of the Three Broomsticks and made her way inside the Pub. She then walked up to the counter and ordered herself a butterbeer. She decided she was just going to sit right there, instead of going and finding a seat at one of the tables. Of course Lily was entering the Three Broomsticks alone, but that didn't mean she would stay alone. She knew that chances are she'd run into one of her friends, or at least someone she knew while she was here. After all this place was pretty popular. You might enter alone, but that didn't mean that you walked back to the castle alone.
After the waiter handed her the butterbeer, Lily handed him the Money for it. She then went and sat down and picked up her drink and started drinking it.
