Before doing this, I wanted to see everyone's opinions. I was wondering how everyone would feel about a tabbed table at the top of the forum which you can scroll through to find all the information currently in the side tables (with the cbox always being in view in it's own special tab so you can access it without having to tab to it) and then getting rid of the side tables? The forum itself will not be tabbed, just all of the information currently in the side tables. What do you think? The forum will then also be wider and less cramped.

To be completely homest i love the idea!!!!! Ive been wanting to do it for my own sites for a VERY long time! With the Cbox i think it would be aweesome if we could find/make a code so that it scrolls with the page. I often fimd myself with multiple browers tabs open just so that i can view one post and then another tab so i can see the cbox. We also have that extra login box which acts as an alias box, it will still need to be visible too, what if we had that floating as well?

For cbox, couldn't we possibly find a code that makes a little tab on the SIDE of the site, and then when you scroll over/click, the cbox floats there? Or is that what you're talking about? lol If we were to put the cbox up next to the tabbed box, we could put the login thing underneath. If we could find a way to make them both float, that would be amazing. I think that's more Javascripty, and don't know if I'm that advanced to create such a thing yet xP but we could hunt!

That would work to reduce clutter, but if you cannot find a tab we can make the whole thing float. I'm sure I can look it up if you cannot find anything. =D!

I like this idea. I think it'll make reading some posts easier. I know a lot of the time stuff gets smooshed together. Especially if someone has a longer/ wider avie or sig. less weird stretching. I do agree that the cbox and quick log in need to float. But I'm not smart like that.... LOL I know you two geniuses will figure it out though!

Every attempt I've tried so far has failed -_- mainly because I can't seem to get it below the banner. I know I'll figure it out, I just don't have a lot of time on my hands LOL. But yeah... eventually I'll get it haha maybe during my reading week next week.

All the above! Lol. Global header puts it above the banner, global footer puts it well, underneath. The Main Header works, but it only puts it on, well, the main page. I'm sure there's a code that would put it on every page :/ I was working on side tabs on my test board but every time I clicked the entire page moved. GAH lol besides, I like the tabbed things on top more anyways.

Maybe find a board that has it, right click and select 'View Page Source' ?

Hah, I've already done that. Sometimes it's hard because it's just a small code that I've overlooked. I haven't really put that much time into the whole thing...
