Regulus is the youngest son of Orion and Walburga Black. He is currently in his fifth year at Hogwarts. He doesn't mind being called Reg, but despises being called Reggie. Regulus is an anti-social insomniac, whose only real passion is Quidditch. He is not an outstanding student, however he is studious and is pretty good at astronomy and charms. Even though he pretends like he doesn't care about what people think of him, his reputation actually matters quite a lot to him.
As mentioned before, Regulus is not the most social person you will ever meet. He likes being alone, which obviously means that he doesn't have too many friends. There are a lot of people he gets along with just fine (these people are almost all Slytherins, though he can have a couple of Ravenclaw friends), but there is a very limited amount of people he feels close to, probably one or two. Regulus also isn't very good with girls, even as friends, since he usually ends up hurting their feelings somehow.
Regulus is an extremely loyal person, especially when it comes to his family. He values their morals and beliefs, and he loves having the connections that he does. During his childhood he would have spent a lot of time with his cousins and other close-ish relatives like that. There are only two relatives he does not like, and they are Bellatrix, because intimidates him, and Sirius, although deep down he just wishes his brother would come back home.
Regulus does not fall for girls easily, but if the right person comes along he will fall hard. He is a very committed person, and he will do anything he can to make that special person happy, even if he can't make himself happy. Regulus needs someone to crush on, or maybe even someone to crush on him. Even if that person isn't necessarily a Slytherin. He also often starts liking girls that are a year or two older than him, since he, himself, doesn't always act his age.
Regulus actually believes in everything related to pureblood mania his parents taught him, and he feels like a true Slytherin, so he basically dislikes everyone in Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. He is also very bad at holding back when he wants to speak his mind, and he gains a lot of enemies that way. People get angry with him easily, and Regulus is never afraid of a verbal fight. Physical fights he makes sure to stay out of when he can.
