Leaning over the bar, his green eyes scoured the surface and Rabastan breathed in the atmosphere. He promised to go with Integra for what-ever she wanted him to go for, but not until he had a drink with her. Clenching his jaw tightly he lowered his head, long hair falling down his shoulders and a few strands covering his face. Lifting his hand, the bartender came to his side and he nodded.
Leaning back as far as possible in the stool without tipping over, Rab looked over the bar to see any familiar face, but that wasn't going to happen until Echoes waltzed in through the doors. His lip twitched as the man behind the counter poured him a shot. Leaning forward again, Rabastan fingered the small glass before lifting it in his hand and pounded it down. A burning sensation filled his throat, but he didn't wince at the taste.

She'd agreed to meet him for a drink before heading out, hoping he didn't expect to stay too long as they did have somewhere to be. Coming very quietly into the dimly light bar, Integra shook off the cold from the air. Following her usual path to the bar, she glanced down and spied her counterpart for the evening. The bartender moved to pull out a bottle of fire whiskey for her but Integra cleared her throat, "Only a glass to night. Important business to attend to tonight." She paused and then smiled. "And put it on his tab." She nodded to Rabastan and took her glass as the bartender, confused as he was at her abnormally small order, (and no doubt a little disappointed in his sales loss for the evening) put the rest of the bottle back under his counter. Integra moved to sit next to him, resisting the urge to tip his already tilting stool out from under him. "Well, its nice to see that you actually showed. I thought about inviting the Jamison boy, but seeing as he's not officially one of us, I thought it might reflect badly on your part. That and you're a bit better company. Jamison is rather.....honest when inebriated. And while its an admirable quality it sometimes makes me want to hurt him." She smiled and smoothed her skirt as she ran her finger over the rim of the glass. Clothes

Laughin he nodded as Integra told the barkeep to put her drink on his tab. "I'm a man of my word, unlike most people. I am a Slytherin after all, and I wouldn't be here if there was nothing in it for me." Waving the man to pour him an actual drink instead of a shot he looked over at the woman who took her place beside him. She was pretty enough to be caught with, but he was still hesitant about what he was doing. "Aside from that all, I need you to help me, count this as a favor and you helping me in return is payment." There was no way he was going to let her get away with free help. Rabastan didn't need monetary payment, considering his family name and lineage.
"I need to get the whole Jamison thing sorted out. That kid has a decent head on his shoulders and we can use him to his full potential." Gritting his teeth a little Rab looked over at her and pulled a hair band to tie his locks back in a low ponytail. "The only issue is, I can't bring him anywhere unless he has been initiated, and you know how long that can take. Perhaps I can get Lucien to pull some weight in my favor." Biting the inside of his lip he took a drink from his thick glass and smiled at her. "I'm ready whenever you are."

Integra shifted her weight as he spoke and smiled a little. Silly boy. Thought he was helping her by coming along. "Lets get this straight first. You're here because you made an ass of yourself in front of a whole lot of tattle tales and if one of those squeelly little pigs decided to go tell Dumbledore you were acting strangely, you'd have far too much attention brought your way. And our master wouldn't like that at all. You're supposed to be laying low on the grounds. Instead you let the broken mess in your head get the better of you." She took a long drink and set the empty glass down on the counter. "You're here to make yourself look better in the eyes of our leader."
Shifting to the side ready to go, she stood but didn't move. "Don't be stupid, Rabastan. You know damn well I'm capable of handling anything on my own. I haven't got a need for you in the world. I'm doing you a favor by giving you all the credit for tonight. Because whether I like it or not, you're our leader around here. Let's just leave it at that because I'm not going to be in anyone's debt. Ever." She paused and moved for the door and looked over her shoulder at the man she was giving all her good handy work to. "But..... I will help you with Jamison. Even if it is only because I know he'll be a good asset." That wasn't the only reason but Rabastan didn't need to know that. "Stay close. We need to get out of the village quietly."
Pulling the hood of her cloak over her head she left the little pub and turned down the dark alley behind it. She looked back at him, her pale milky face a vast contrast against her dark hair in the moon light of the evening. With one nod she ducked behind a few more buildings and then disappeared into the trees on the outskirts of the thickly forested hillside. She was damn near invisible unless you were close. Turning back to Rabastan she waited for him to catch up then they would apparate to their mission location together.

"I'll make an ass out of myself in front of whoever I damn well please. I have the respect from my family, as well as my superiors, that is all I need at the moment." He leaned back to finish his drink and pulled his leather jacket tightly around his shoulders as she mentioned leaving, his wand tucked securely in the inside pocket.
Raising an eyebrow to her, Rab sucked in a stoical breath and exhaled. He was quiet and definitely went even more so when she was around. "Anyone I help is in my debt, even if you are helping me in return, your little 'scheme' for helping me out just to look good, doesn't compare to the deal I'm making with you now. You can take my help, and in return I want something, anything, it will happen anytime and you may not know it is coming, but I will ask for it sooner or later."
As they left the pub he stayed quickly on her heels until she turned around. "Where are we headed?" His body itching to get out of here, to apparate to do something.

She swallowed as they stood in the forest maybe he didn't understand her clearly. "Rabastan you just won't give up will you. You have to be king around everyone. That's you're biggest downfall. You think no one can ever compare to you and you are wrong. I said before I don't NEED you here tonight. I don't NEED any help. I could be doing this by myself and making me look just fucking fabulous in the eyes of the dark lord. I'm doing you a fucking favor giving you the credit. We are EVEN and I swear to God if I hear one more god damned thing about us not being even I will not be as nice as I'm being now." She wanted to yell "I'll cut you're fucking face off and feed it to my Hell Hound!!!" But she thought it wiser not to.
Tucking herself in close to his body (which a normal person would expect to be warm, yet Integra knew better than that) she looked up in his face. "And lets be honest," she lowered her voice a little. "You won't find anyone else as loyal and sinister as me to be at your side when this war consumes us entirely. And now one half as hideous." Integra's lips curled into a smile as her thin pale and ice cold hand reached up to his face at his jawline and then in a spliced open half second they were gone in a billowing cloud of smoke. When they reappeared they were standing on a dark silent country road. There was a house down a dusty drive to their left. All the lights were out and the mail box read "Dr. and Mrs. Malovich 27 Goodfellow. PRIVATE DRIVE" Integra nodded once at the house. "That's it..." She looked sideways at Rabastan and grinned. "Hope you're ready."

"Shut your trap woman." It was the only thing he could think. There was a tear and a rip as they snapped back to reality in the country side. His extraordinarily expensive boots hitting the ground lightly. Most were not as graceful as he was and he looked at her. "I don't care if you're loyal, nor sinister, replacements come easy, and I'd rather someone who thought with his or her head, not her body or frightening looks." Fixing his hair back, he tied a leather strap at the base of his neck to bunch his locks into a low ponytail. "I will call in a favor of you, at my leisure or I will leave. Your choice Echoes." His tone was final and he made sure that his wand was within easy grasp.
Rabastan was more prepared than most in these situation than one would think. He was never hot headed, and he didn't act brashly, though he had his moments around Rodolphus.

"You incorrigible jackass." She shook her head for a moment then sighed. She was never going to win this fight. He was an ass who though she was nothing but a slut. "By the end of the night, You'll have a very different opinion of me. Let's go." Rolling her neck she moved toward the dark house and stuck to the shadows. She didn't like the idea of having to come to him should he call on her. But in reality he could do that even if she didn't owe him anything. Which she still didn't owe him anything. The house was still and silent. Which meant they had to be still and silent as well. "We need to get in.." Looking up the outside walls of the tall country house she ran her tongue over her teeth. Her heels were silent against the wood of the porch. It seemed as though she'd just go right up to the front door and open it. Naturally that's what she intended to do. But a spell might resonate through the dark hallways. Putting her hand to the glass of the door she waited a moment before it vanished and she put her arm through the hole to unlock the door her hand muffling the sound of its clicking for the most part. Looking back at Rabastan and nodded. Slipping silently into the entrance of the house and looked up to the stairs. There was a soft light coming from one room and it made her a little worried that perhaps someone might be up. Integra gave him a cautious look and took the first step up the stairs.

"You do not know that." Clenching his jaw together he stared her down for a few moments until the two of them started toward the house and slipped into the house. Fastening his jackets a bit tighter around himself he broke away from her, feet falling silently on the wooden entry way. Jeans bunching around the ankle of his boots his eyes scanned carefully, his breathing ceased as he listened. Wand slipping from his sleeve into the palm of his hand. Turning away from her as she placed her foot on the step he moved to examine the rest of the house. His ponytail swished as he turned swiftly toward the kitchen to investigate.

Integra inched her way a few steps up. She could just see into the study. A man sat facing a window away from her at a desk. He was reading quietly over a file that was fairly thick. Holding her breath she turned to find Rabastan again, but a blur of bright colors caught her eye. There were children's toys on the floor of the study and as she peeked down the hall she saw lights shimmering off the walls from a little mobile. There was a child here, around the age of a toddler. Integra cursed herself a little and turned back down the stairs.
She quietly approached Rabastan and made sure not to scare him. She didn't want her face hexed off or anything. She needed to convey a message. Taking a piece of parchment from her back pocket she put her fingers in the corner of it and took his hand putting his fingers on the opposite corner. Her thoughts silently scrawled across the paper in crimson ink. "The master of the house is upstairs in a study... awake. The wife is sleeping. There's just... one other... A child. Not old maybe 2. Our instructions are to kill the doctor and his wife how ever we please... it says nothing about the child. I don't think our instructor expected it to be here. It's your call from here..." She looked up at him. Moon light played across her cool eyes as she stared blankly up in his face. She wasn't sure she was comfortable slaughtering the child. She wasn't sure she had any say in the matter though.

Turning around after investigating the kitchen Rab looked at Integra as she came down the stairs. His green eyes calm and a smile spread across his lips. Holding a finger to his mouth he moved to the stairs, standing next to her, he whispered. "I will take out the doctor, you take his wife out and we will stun the child and bring it to a child's home. I'll take care of it if you don't want to." His boot padded on the stairs and he slammed his foot down, shaking the wall that lined up the stair case. A smile spread across his lips and winked to Integra.
A flutter of papers sounded from upstairs and the light shook. Another clomp from Rabastan's boots, and the house shuttered again. "Doctor Malovich! Come quickly! My daughter she is bleeding!" He screamed as he pressed his body against the wall in a shadow, no light reflected off of him, except for the whites of his eyes. Motioning Integra to do the same.
Steps came from the top of the stairs as the doctor swung around the corner. "Whose there?! Show yourself!" A huge smile spread across Rabastan's lips as he rose his wand and howled. "CRUCIO!" A sadistic grin lit up the Slytherin's eyes as the middle aged man fell down the stairs from pure agony. A scream erupting from the man's lips. Tiny footsteps broke Rabastan's focus, and he turned to see a little girl, brown hair in a tangle. His heart stuttered in his chest. This isn't how he wanted it, he wanted her to stay tucked in her bed. Forgetting about the doctor Rab fled to the top of the stairs. "Integra take care of him." Grabbing the little girls hand, she didn't scream. "I'll be back for you, okay?" His voice was quiet, taking out his wand he whispered - [/i]Petrificus Totalus[/i]. The young girl began falling and he eased her to the ground.

Sulking against the wall she followed in Rabastan's thudding footsteps and made a little sobbing sound to go along with the story and grinned up at her partner. When the man clattered to the floor at the bottom of the stairs, she too looked up at the girl, her eyes alight with rage. She hissed a little as Rabastan ran off with the girl. When he ordered her to take care of the man she aimed her wand down at him and sent a crucio his way. The man writhed and screamed in horrified terror and Integra giggled with glee. A few flicks sent slashes down the mans chest in the pattern of her fingernails and she cackled until a sharp feeling ran through her left side. Howling in pain Integra turned to find the wife behind her with a bloody knife in her hand.
"You fucking stabbed me you crazy bitch!!" She swallowed and removed her hand from her torso to she her own red blood. "Oooo... You are going to wish that killed me." Licking her lips she flung a killing curse at the doctor and heard the wife's knife clatter to the floor. "There's a good girl....So smart to just give up.." she trailed off as she turned and stared down the business end of a wand.
It wasn't seconds before she was on her back on top of the doctor and groaning. "That wasn't very nice..." She rolled slowly to her side but another spell just barely missed her. "I'm tired of you're insolence!!! Crucio!!!" The woman was a lot stronger than she expected and gripped the railing of the stairs. Integra was in a pretty good deal of pain but held tight to her curses.

He heard the commotion downstairs, looking at the little girl he turned and looked at Integra, he could see the woman gaining on her. A rage in her eyes, taking out his wand he leaned forward, protecting the child with his life. As he rushed past Teggy toward the woman. "You touch her I will kill you." Grabbing the wife by her throat he slammed her against the wall holding, wand at her throat. Making sure he was the last thing she saw, a sinister smile spread across her lips. "Your child will never remember you. Avada Kedavara." A slight whisper and he dropped the corpse to the ground.
"Do something with the bodies, I'll take care of the girl." Climbing the stairs again he knelt down next to her, wand still out he whispered an imperius curse, a yellow puff covered her head and just as quickly as it came, it was gone. Lifting the child into his arms he walked toward the study, a familiar name caught his attention. 'Giovanni' he knew of two, grabbing the paperclipped packet he shoved it into his coat pocket and made headway outside. These people did know to much, but that wasn't going to stop him.
He met Teggy outside and looked at her. "I take it we're burning the place?" Holding the girl with one arm. "Let me see that."

As soon as the woman was dead, Integra scrambled to her feet and made her way to the porch. The cool night air made it easier for her to breath. When Rabastan exited with the child tucked away under his arm she looked at him with bewilderment. He was being so careful with her. He'd also said a few things that she wasn't sure about but thought maybe it was delirium from her injury. Stumbling down the dirt path away from the house she nodded at his remark about burning the place. "Of course we are."
It was getting hard to stay standing as she couldn't exactly keep pressure on both wounds. Her hand went to his arm as she cringed a little. "See what??" He motioned to her and she lifted her dress up passed her torso to reveal the bloody mess of a stab wound going straight through her. "Its just a ....a scratch.." She blinked a little. Curses she could take like a champ but she wasn't invincible and physical wounds were harder to bounce back from. She was not accustomed to ever getting close enough to be stabbed. "It only hurts.... a little..." She took a deep breath but could taste a bit of the coppery flavor creeping into her mouth. Turning her head she spit it out and glared at the red spit.

looking at the wound he pulled his wand out and treated the wounds as best as he could, cleaning it, and inspecting both sides of her. "She missed what looks important." He said with a cool and calm voice, "when we get back to the castle I'll brew up a healing potion, it shouldn't be to hard, just try not to move quickly and stay up straight. I put your skin together as best as I could, but I don't think it will hold. I'm no Madame Pomfrey." Hoisting the little girl on his hip, she was still out cold, but her head lulled against him and rested between his shoulder and neck.
"I'll light the house up." A burst of orange escaped from his wand and the house instantly caught fire, adjusting the girl on his hip, once the house was engulfed in flames, he pulled Integra close to him. Papers tucked inside his jacket, and apparated to the Lestrange house. It was dark and he knew no one was him. The parents were out on some sort of Vacation, and he knew Rhodolphus kept away as much as possible. Spires peaked into the blackness of the sky. "C'mon." Unlocking the front door with a few words only a Lestrange would know, the latch clicked and he pushed it open. Being greeted by an older looking house elf quietly.
