Integra winced a little but made no noise. Her eyes watered a little, it was certainly a rough job and it didn't keep it from hurting, but it kept her from bleeding to death. When he pulled her in she took in a sharp breath. She wasn't used to him being so... protective? But for an odd reason it felt nice. Even Integra, with a heart of ice, needed to be comforted when she was hurt.
When she opened her eyes again they were standing out front of the Lestrange house. She'd been here only once when she was little. Her parents had brought her along to a party many years ago. She ignored the house elf as she was still in too much pain to really give a shit and found a chair quickly. She peeked through her ripped dress at the patchwork. Her skin was paper thin and she could see the blood pooling behind it, like a dam under pressure. "Rabastan... I very much admire your efforts... but you should stick to maiming and injuring rather than healing people." She breathed and closed her eyes. she was sweating a little.
When she looked back at him he was still holding the child. "Why don't I stay here while you take her to the girl's home." She breathed a little and nodded at the house elf when it brought her some water. She realized well enough that she wasn't fit to be going anywhere. "Don't worry... I can't get far. You can come back and yell at me for my sloppiness when you're done." She leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

"Stop talking." He laid the girl on one of the large and plush couches, and looked at Integra. "I'd rather it be a terrible job than you losing your guts when we apparated." It was a fact and he couldn't handle this right now. The reality of the situation had not set in completely and he wasn't thinking clearly, but he knew enough about fixing wounds. "Barloz, can you find me a healing potion, alcohol, cotton swabs, butterfly suttures and Father's healing book." With a curt nod the house elf was on his way.
"I can't take her back." He was pacing as he waited for the elf to return. "I...really can't do that Integra." He stretched his fingers out and looked at the little girl who was now resting peacefully on the couch. The binding charm seemed to have worn off and he looked at the girl with dark hair, she had green eyes as well when he first saw her. People would question, but he could easily take care of that with a few documents. Integra could of been wearing concealing clothes. That had to of worked, or the two of them adopted...then their girl would...their? What the hell was Rabastan thinking?

He was being weird... Too weird. What the hell was the matter with him. She was right all along. He wasn't right for that mission. He wasn't in a well enough mind! He had saved her life. But panic started to flood her when he said he couldn't take her back. "What's going on??" The stress and panic made her heart race she could feel it in her stomach. Clenching her jaw as the skin broke apart and blood poured out on her lap and slowly toward the floor. Her hand tightened around the glass she held until she shattered it. This hurt about as bad as the first time.
"Why can't you take her back Rabastan?" Her tone was harsh but more so due to her injury than irritation. Though she was very much upset at the fact that he was acting so differently. "ahhh!! fuck fuck fuck!!!!" She held her hand to the bleeding hole in her and tried to stop from dying.

"Stop moving!" He yelled at her and the little girl who was laying on the couch stirred and Rab's eyes shot up. "Fuck, Integra!" He called and heard the faintest noise. 'Daddy?' he turned and looked at the dark haired girl with a smile. "Yes Lorette?" The girl walked across the floor and clung to his jacket. 'Is mommy going to be okay?' Rabastan's eyes focused on Integra. "Yes, she's going to be okay, if only she would stop moving." He placed his hand on her head and let his gaze settle on Integra. Nudging his head, trying to hint her to shut up for a little bit. "Lorette, please can you go sit on the couch while I fix up mom?"
Barloz came back with a tray and he nodded a thank you to the elf. "Lay down, I'll fix you up." He gave her the healing potion, a look on his face told her to trust him. Lorette didn't listen, instead she stood next to him watching him work and holding onto Integra's hand. 'It's okay mommy. Daddy will take good care of you.'

Integra's eyes flew open when the little girl spoke. But she hurt too much to say anything. greedily taking the healing potion she stood and laid down on the table after clearing away the glass. The little girl's hand found hers and she finally spoke to Integra. Looking at the curly mess of dark hair through bleary eyes she coughed a little. "He better. Darling... Be a good girl and go see if you can find me a cold washcloth from the kitchen." She squeezed the little girls hand and her eyes pierced into Rabastan.
"What the fuck?! Are you mental?! Why is that little girl calling us mommy and daddy?! If you want to play house fine but why me?! You hate me!!!!" She cringed and coughed again trying to hold still for him. "God Rabastan.. Please make it stop. It hurts...." She was getting a little delirious and tired and was tearing a little from pain and frustration. She never even had the chance to think about if she wanted kids and now he was thrusting one at her. HIS child no less and they weren't even on good terms.

As Lorette walked away, Integra unleashed her rage. "I'm not having this conversation in front of our daughter. I panicked, enough about it until she's with the grandparents." Once she was done freaking out he forced her to hold still. Looking at the wound it was looking pretty bad. "Just stop thinking about it for a moment. I cannot have you tearing a fresh wound open and I don't want to take you to the school, to many questions." Gritting his teeth he pulled out the butterfly closures and sighed. Dabbing around the wounds he numbed everything he could before clasping her skin together. "I tell you know, I'm not going back to Hogwarts until one, you're healed, and two, we can figure out what we can do in this situation. My father and mother should be home soon, they will understand what to do in this situation better than we will."
Lifting her carefully off the table Rabastan carried the woman back to the couch and sat down resting her head in his lap. "I don't hate you." He said resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "I've never hated you." The door from the kitchen opened and out came the little girl he had kidnapped and brain washed. Pulling the paperwork he left on the end table, he looked over a few names that were listed and what it was about. 'Giovanni' and 'Jamison' stood out the most. This was a court document. "Integra, the woman that tried to kill us, she was in court testifying against Colle's father." Setting the papers down he smiled as Lorette was trying to put the cool wash cloth on Teggy's head and Rabastan couldn't help but chuckle. Lifting the two year old up and onto the arm rest of the couch he couldn't help but grin keeping an arm wrapped around her and one brushing the black hair out of Integra's face.

Integra calmed a little and held still until he was finished. It hurt like hell and she was feeling like death. "Rabastan, You've gone absolutely mental. I'm telling your parents just that when they get home... If I live that long.." She was clammy feeling as he lifted her into his arms. She would have loved to say that she didn't enjoy the feeling of his arms around her but at that moment it was actually kind of nice. Once they were on the couch and she was listening to him she closed her eyes a little.
"But... All those things you said earlier..And... I thought you saw me as a...." She glanced up at the little girl who was now running her tiny hands through her hair. "I thought you said I was a S-L-U-T and a D-R-U-N-K B-I-T-C-H A good for nothing... Why'd you freak then at the dance?" A tear came to her eye. As strong as Integra was, her blood loss was making her loopy and strangely honest. "So if you don't hate me.. Then you must think I'm an idiot if you're putting me in this sort of situation." She sighed and tried to not think about the throbbing in her body.

"I'm a boy, and boys say dumb things when they're around girls they like." He smiled at Loretta, and pulled her into his lap as well. With a giggle he couldn't help but feel a wee bit guilty about taking a child away from her parents, but this, was sort of nice. "I really do like you, but I'm always around the guys, or Rodolphus and they expect me to be immovable." Easying himself off the couch he was carrying the girl on his hip. "Time for bed." He whispered and Loretta scruntched her fingers in Rabastan's hair. Trying to think of where to put her he carried her up the stairs toward a guest room and opened the door. "Here we are love, bed time." She clutched onto him until she was tucked under the covers. She wanted a bed time store and he sat down for a minute.
It was about ten minutes before Rab came back downstairs and sat in an armchair his head in his hands, he was extremely tired, especially from the mission and everything that has happened. "Cmon, I s'pose you need something more comfortable than a couch." Lifting Integra up again careful not to open the wounds once more. He carried her to his room and laid her on the purple sheets.

She let his words sink in for a long time. She had plenty while he was gone. But it took a lot of concentration as she was feeling pretty fuzzy. Closing her eyes a little she drifted off a bit. Before taking a breath and blinking up at him. She was in his arms and it was nice. "you know..." Her voice was a little gravelly. "If you like a girl you tell her she smells nice... not steal her a child." She laughed a little. She was a cute kid and she really did like Rabastan as well but they were no where near that sort of thing.
"This is really insane you know...Everyone is going to think we've lost our minds. Your parents will be furious.. MY father is going to be seriously..." She took a breath as he laid her on his bed. She knew it was his because it smelled like sweat blood and anger. "He'll be upset that the mission didn't go entirely as planned. We'll have to do some explaining." She took another deep breath and gently laid a hand on her wound. It still hurt like a son of a bitch. Integra really didn't want to be alone at that moment. "Hey.." Her voice came out as a whisper as she smiled up at him. "I don't hate you either.."
