lecto says! i met tanith through our parents when we were only five years old. of course, back then we were just kids, coloring in picturebooks together. then we started hogwarts. tanith and i don't really talk too much. i can stand her, but at times she's just a little annoying in my opinion. i dunno what's wrong with her, but come on.. she's a malfoy, she could carry the name with a little more posture...
tan says! to be honest, i'm not really sure what happened with alecto. one minute she was helping me to colour inside the lines, the next she's giving me filthy looks in the corridors and barely putting up civil conversation. i don't know, puberty i guess? alecto turned out quite impressive albeit formidable and i think it peeved her a little that i didn't follow suit. i can't help getting the feeling that she thinks i'm inadequate. well, no love lost. i can't do anything if she's suddenly taken an irrational dislike to my post-five-year-old self. if anything i think alecto's got pretty haughty since our colouring book days, and i'm not going to be trailing around after her to try and get her to be my friend. in fact, i'd even return those filthy looks, but as i said, she is pretty formidable, and breaking friendship allegiances with the carrows wouldn't go down well back home. I mean, we sort of are still- it just depends on your definition of friends.We grew up together, through familial connections, so we have enough history together to be friends. Sometimes our friendly rivalry got a little heated but that was all part of the fun. Tanith was one of those people who made my start here at Hogwarts tolerable. I know some of her behaviors drive others nuts but that is what I love about her. I am glad she’s my dorm mate. In the past we have caused a little trouble but I wouldn’t trade her as a friend for anything,
