Emilia had crawled out of her bed earlier this morning. literally. She wasn't much of a morning person but then again... who was? not anyone she knew of that she could think of at the moment. But she normally had the problem of staying up way too late to begin with. She was a night person that nothing could really change that. She always has been and chances are she always will be. Not that she didn't mind it of course... but sometimes it would be better if she was a morning person. not everyone can get what they want in life and that is just tough luck. you get what you earn. At times it's better to be a night person, mostly during the summer with all the parties that tend to go on at night. Then again... that only matters if you're actually invited to those which Emilia normally isn't... because she isn't as social-able as she wishes she was. It sucked at times but it was life and she simply just got over the fact and didn't mind it after awhile.
Wearing her house uniform, she strolled from class to class learning about things that didn't really catch her interest. which always made her sleepy when she was disinterested in things. That was always a down side to her. Slowly drifting into sleep but resisting it for fear of being yelled at. She never took being yelled at lightly, she was really sensitive when it came to things like that. sometimes if she was being yelled at a lot and rather harshly, tears would start to form. But that happened to a number of girls so thankfully she wasn't alone on that. Resisting the urge to sleep was actually really hard for her. which is why she hated the feeling. Or when one of you're body parts falls sleep and when you move it, it feels like pins are it in. She hates that as well. It was never high on her list of things she actually liked.
Last class ended, Emilia pushed her chair out and went to stand but nearly fell to the ground... her left foot had fallen asleep. She waited a moment before the pain was semi tolerable and started out of the classroom. 'I should get an early start on homework eat least today' she thought to herself as she walked down the hall. She figured the best place to do homework would be the library seeing as she always got distracted in the Gryffindor common room. Once her foot was fully awake, she stopped her silly looking limp she hadn't even noticed she was doing and strolled down a few more halls and went up a staircase. She continued down one more hall way before actually making it to the library. a place she really didn't want to be but knew she had to do what needed to be done...
Emilia always has hated the library because it was the only place she actually had the chance to concentrate. She made her way to an empty table and placed her books down. She pulled the chair out, dreading that she actually came here and sat down. Slowly she took out her books and some paper. Muggle Studies... she was terrible at this subject. She opened the book and turned to page 74. She took out a writing utensil before staring at the paper. Letting out a sigh, she raised her left hand, placed her elbow on the other side of the book and rested her head in that hand. her left hand slightly sliding in her hair as she stared down at her book trying to figure out what she was even suppose to do with this. She hadn't been listening at all today, mainly resting the urge to sleep and day dreaming. but she normally day dreams during the school hours all the time.
Her eyes grew heavier and heavier as she looked at her muggle studies book before they actually closed for a moment. Her head lost balance and she face planted right in to her book. She instantly shot up which caused her chair to lean back a little too far and caused her to fall backwards. "I knew i shouldn't had gotten out of bed this morning..." she whined to herself before getting up and feeling like every one was staring at her as she fixed the chair and sat bad down only to end up staring aimlessly at the book again....

Things have been going smoothly lately, but there wasn't much time for him lately. Homework had consumed his life and sadly he was one hundred percent okay with this. It was only school anyway, and the best way to keep unwanted things off his mind was to finish with school work. Following his usual routine, Havok carried his books with him down the stairs toward the library, he had just finished with divination and was done with lessons for the evening. Pushing his dark hair back he pulled out a pair of glasses and looked around. "what did I have left to do?" The thought haunted him, there was a break in his routine and that wasn't exactly a good thing. Did he even have homework to do? More than likely not.
Wandering into the library he moved to one of the back tables for solitude. Setting his bag down, he untied his tie, and the top button of his undershirt, lessons were over and he could finally relax. Stretching his hands out he scanned the books in his satchel and then looked along the shelves. A frown caught his lips while he looked along the dust ladden tomes. The instant he stretched his hand out a loud crash came from the other side of the case. It startled him a little, but then he decided that should see what was going on. Any time of day if lessons were not in session you would find him down here. The thin end of his tie swung forward and smacked him in the back of the bringing him back to some reality. Should he really trust Alecto? Clenching his jaw together he shook his head. Could he trust the Order? Biting his lip he sighed and put the book back were it was. Havok was fiddling with things that needed to be left alone.
The sound continued to rattle through his head. He was a sweet boy in all honesty, but to everyone there is a different side, whether they let that control them it was solely up to the holder of those thoughts. Should he harbor the idea Alecto burned into his mind after a quick lay? Or should he completely forget about it? What about one of his best friends? Alice. The two of them had worked together up until she had graduated from the school. It was clear that he needed somthing to keep his mind occupied. There were things people needed to be afraid of, but sometimes those things we should be afraid of aren't even really plausible.
Turning back to the table he grabbed his bag and made way to see who it was that made a ruckus. The soft patter of his feet on concrete wore through the silence of the library. At that moment it was an awkward sound, but he didn't pay it any mind. Havok was aware of the sound that came from his own two feet. Looking at a girl who seemed guilty, yet very tired or worn rather. He approached her quietly, maybe she was stuck on something? He was good at a few subjects, his father made damn sure of that, and he couldn't let that military jerk down. Silencing the way he was walking he made it around to the back of the girl. Leaning over her shoulder he looked at what she was 'looking' at and shook his head. Muggle studies was by far one of his easiest subjects. That father of his was a muggle military general, obviously he had to know of a few things.
Slowly he opened his mouth to speak, "you seem to be having troubles, Miss." Maybe it was his strong germanic accent, or perhaps he was extremely suave, it was only a guess at most, but he was prepared if the young woman were to be startled at his sudden voice in her ear. "Perhaps I may be of some service?"

Emilia basically dozing off to the words on the book. Muggle studies, always a hard subject for her... actually all subjects were hard for her. She hated to study and homework and the such, but what student didn't? She wasn't wild and wanted to party like every night like some students wish they could do. She was about to run her hand through her light brown hair before she heard a voice that scared her half to death. In fact, the voice scared her so much, she ended up smacking herself in the face. After whining to herself for a moment about how she basically beats herself up everyday, she listened to the voice continue to talk which made chills go down her spine. Accents have always been a 'thing' of hers. which was a good and a bad thing... at times. Good because she enjoyed them (a little to much some would say) and a bad thing because she'd try to get the person to say different words just to see how they would sound like with a different accent.
Emilia turned her head to look at who was talking. She hadn't seen him before but she was happy to make new friends especially if they could help her with homework and stuff. "I would love help" She said softly, with a smile added on. she wasn't sure if she was going to have to flirt to get help with this horrible subject. " Muggle studies is one of my worst subjects, but then again... I'm not good at any subject to be honest... well, I'm good with note taking and such but when it comes to homework and studying I'm horrible at it." she spoke softly before gesturing to the chair next to her. "Have a seat" she added. Her grayish- blue eyes actually checking him out. He wasn't bad looking... Actually she found him quite attractive.
"By the way, I'm Emilia Mcinnis, you might have heard of the elder brother but don't worry I'm not super mean like them" she pointed out. She wasn't sure if he knew about them but just in-case he did know about them. She brushed her hair out of her face again, it always had a habit of moving into her line of viewing. Emilia started to nibble on her bottom lip with nervousness, she wanted help on her muggle studies and he had offered, hopefully he would stay true to his offer and actually help her. Some times when people would offer her help, she'd introduce herself and they would walk away with fear. which she never quite understood why, besides the fact that her brothers were ruthless Slytherins that didn't take anything from anyone.
Emilia turned her head back to her book before running her finger of the page she was on. She sighed softly as her hair fell in front of her face again. her other hand rested on the table. her nails tapping lightly on the wood, she started to read but concluded it'd be useless for her because she didn't even understand the material. " So what house are you it? not like it really matters to me but I'm still curious to know. I'm in Gryffindor" she stated, attempting to start a convocation so that they'd get distracted and end up not studying. which she wouldn't really mind. even though she had been lacking on studying. She was lacking in every subject so if needed too, she'd flirt her way to getting help from him... unless she didn't needed to flirt... she'd probably still flirt because she enjoyed it.
She ran her hand through her hair before smiling at him. the library was obnoxious quite now but when wasn't it? it was a library after all! it was made to be quite so people could read and such. but to her, she found it too quite... like how it is in scary movies just before the monster/murder come out of nowhere and scares the banana's out of people.

She had a nice smile and he was very happy to see that. Also he recognized her from around the common room. Havok knew that she was in the same year as him, but he hardly talked to anyone to begin with. All he wanted was to be left alone for the most part and here he was confronting a girl who seemed to be having issues with homework. It wasn't like him, but some people come out of their shell sooner or later. They color of her hair was soft and it made him smile, and he looked down at the book she was reading. Muggle Studies. That was easy enough for him. His father was a German Military General so he had some sense of muggle things. He never really understood why the wizarding world thought they were so different from muggles, they all bleed red. They're not that much different either, the wizards have things muggles make and some muggle know of some things the magic folk harbor. Pulling up a seat next to her he leaned in a little bit and nodded. "No need to worry about your family background Emilia, somethings should never be worried about, nor should they make you the person you are," atleast that was what he believed and now where he stood Fenrir was on his side. Long sleeves covered his arms. His family didn't need to know that he was a death eater, but this put him one step closer to Fenrir and following his moves. It was the perfect decoy to get what he wanted. Even if he had to bed Alecto in order for his motives to be put into action. Was it the right decision? He had no idea.
"Havok Verdugo, I believe we're in the same house and year, I've seen you around a bit. Usually I'm not so talkative, you may of not realized me throughout the years, but that's not a problem really." He was considerate of her and he didn't want to pry into personal territory if he didn't have too. It's not like he was on high alert from everything around him, aside from Carrow. That woman scared him to death and he wasn't ready to die, not until Fenrir was laid to rest. "Maybe you just haven't learned the right way to study? Everyone does it differently. Some people need visual descriptions and pictures. Others need a more linear approach, and even more there are people who need the hands on approach. Personally I learn visually." It seemed that Emilia was nervous around him, but Havok was completely oblivious to the feelings of others who might actually care about him. He was far to driven to get tied down, unless that person who he decided to court was with him one hundred percent in the killing of Fenrir. Havok didn't mind other werewolves, he only had a vendetta against one and being a death eater brought him ever so close to his goal, even though he was now starting to regret his decision, though at the time it wasn't a decision Carrow had forced him to be a snitch, but he never said that it was going to be true information.
An idea sparked in his head and he stood up. "Pack your things, I'll be back in a moment." What was he thinking? Perhaps they needed to get outside most of the time it was easier to think when you were in a non-thinking area, your mind seems to wander and ideas will pop in your head. Moving back to his table he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder, before grabbing the one dusty book he was looking at. It just seemed like it would be a good read to prepare him for the worst of what werewolves were actually capable of. He leaned against the bookcase by her table. "Just have to check this out, then we can go outside. What is your homework on anyway? I'm not taking muggle studies at this time, but perhaps I can be of some help?"

"havok verdugo..." the name lingered in her mind for a moment but couldn't think if she had actually met him before. Which was necessarily a bad thing. It meant she could flirt her way to get him to help her with her homework as well as to help her study. Normally, She would be against using her feminine abilities to get what she wants but Havok seemed rather smart, and figured he'd be a lot of help for her. " I'm so jealous of people who can study and not have a problem with it. I always have so much trouble, I normally end up not studying!" Emilia felt bad. She was acting dumber than she actually was. But to her, it was normally the dumb flirty girls that always got help with their things. So she decided to give it a try, just to see how it felt and so far, it was turning out bad.
She had to admit, She picked a good 'test subject'. Havok was rather cute in her opinion. Although, she felt guilty for doing this but she had to try it at some point in her life. she smiled lightly at him and leaned back in her chair. He told her to pack her things. She pulled her bag off the floor and started to put her things away as he walked away to get his. She was clearly taking her time. She tapped her fingers on the table before stretching back in her chair. She leaned back on the two back legs of the chair, almost falling back wards again. She leaned forward, setting the chair back on all fours before pushing the chair out with her feet.
She was about to get up before she decided to finish putting all her things in her bag. Its wasn't long before Emilia saw Havok come and lean against the bookcase by her table. continuing to ask what exactly what she was stuck on, to be honest, everything but she wasn't going to say that just yet. "Something about some war that happened." Emilia really had no idea what muggle studies was even teaching at the time, every day in class she seemed to space out. maybe because it was lack of interest in the subject that was probably it anyways. She stood up, placed the back strap over her left shoulder and head so it hung just below her left hip. she moved past him, almost touching her body to his body. she paused for a moment as if she was going to say something.
But, She didn't. She sat on the edge of her table, facing him. waiting for him to lead the way to wherever they were going to go to work on this dreaded subject. "I'm sorry if this is a bother for you..." she apologized as she nibbled on her bottom lip lightly and looked up at him. There was a height difference, but then again, there was always a height difference between her and guys. She was only 5'1 so it wasn't a big deal that he was taller then her, most people were.
She smiled lightly gesturing for him to lead the way to where ever he was going to take her. For all she knew, he was going to take to to the forbidden forest, knock her out and murder her... But she figured seeing as he was in Gryffindor he wasn't anything like that. which was a good thing. Emilia was one of those people that figured all the bad apples were put into Slytherin which made her easy-going with every one else. So she felt fine going somewhere with Havok, he seemed enough like a good guy. " So, tell me about yourself" she smiled brightly as she looked at him. She was curious and wanted to figure out if she could use anything about him to get advantage.
She figured they would be off soon, although she was fairly comfortable where she was. She hopped off the table but when she landed on her feet, she lost her balance and completely fell into him. Her face started to heat up with embarrassment. " I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed quietly seeing as they were still in the library.

a smile crept to his lips as he watched her walk there was nothing wrong with checking a girl out for a little while as they wandered back to the front of the library. Madam Pince was sitting at the check out counter and he slid the book forward. She smiled at him and greeted the both of them warmly then looked down at the book. "It's for Advanced Defense Against the Dark Arts, I have an essay to write on the treatment of werewolves in the 16th century." She smiled at him politely and he signed his name at the bottom of the check out card.
He began to pick up the conversation again and noticed she was talking about a war. "World War I or World War II? My father served in both. Luckily though not for the Nazi's." He was proud to not be a Nazi supporter, they were the purebloods of muggles and he knew that. It would make an interesting comparison essay and he was tempted just to write one out himself though if she needed the help he was more than willing to help her with the facts of the muggle wars. After all he was a 'muggle' military brat, even though he was a pureblood living in a muggles world. Perhaps it was hi father that had driven him to explore that line of things, and he lead them to live a more mugglized life.
"It's not a bother really, I don't have any homework for the rest of the week and it's the least I could do for someone in my house, let alone same year. Don't worry about it." He smiled and then she toppled into him, he moved quickly to catch her and smiled. "No worries. All is well, my mother is more clumsy than you are, I can already tell." He grinned and lead her out of the library and down a few stairs on his way to covered courtyard.
She wanted to know about him and he rose an eyebrow. "You're rather a curious one for not being able to learn very well." He let out a laugh then looked at the dead trees beginning to come back to life. "I am from Dresden, Germany originally, but my father is now stationed in Hamburg, Germany for two years. I grew up moving a lot so I never really had close friends until I came to this school when I turned eleven. It's pretty much stayed the same though. I lost my brother when I was twelve to a magical beast so I'm going to try and work in the department of control of magically creatures. Or whatever they call it at the ministry. I had the option to attend Durmstrang but decided it was a little to dark for me, and I convinced my dad to allow me to attend here. It's really been an interesting trip I tell ya. My father inisted on living like a muggle, so I am all to familiar with the muggle studies even though my mother would cheat on the dishes and have them do themselves." He was rambling, not many people had asked him about his past, hell not even Alecto had when she initiated him as a Death Eater. "What about you? Where do you come from?" He couldn't help but laugh a little when it came out. It sounded awkward to himself, but that was alright.

Emilia grinned. " I'm not sure which war it really is... but those to do sound familiar!" she explained happily. her lips moved from a grin to a smile as he went on about how he didn't mind about helping her out. 'This was good... he will slowly fall for my girlish charm. mwhaha' she thought evilly. As a cute smile was occupying her face, she plotted more on how she was going to get help from him in the rest of her subjects. he lead her out of the library and down a couple staircases, clearly they were going to one of the many courtyards that were here.
Emilia shrugged and smiled "Well, I like to know about my new friends." she explained as she walked next to him. They walked into the covered courtyard, one that Emilia hadn't been in for such a long time, perhaps it was because she easily got lost trying to find it. Havok started to talk about himself, she listened trying to pick out anything she could use to advantage of flirting.
Her face dropped when he talked about how he lost his brother. Naturally, her hand raised and touched his arm lightly, in a comforting gesture. "I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, I could never imagine what it'd like to loose a sibling." she said softly with a little frown. "I know we just met but if you ever need someone, you know, to talk to or anything like that.. I'm your girl" she stated with a smile. Emilia was right, She could never imagine what it was like to loose a sibling, even if they only had moved away, She loved her family to death although some of her grandparents rejected her for some unknown reason to her. that would just be unbearable for her to go through loosing a close family member.
Everything else he said was quite interesting but she couldn't really use any of it to her advantage besides how Havok almost was forced to live like a muggle, which Emilia for one, probably wouldn't be able to do without snapping and using magic.
Emilia stared at him blankly for a moment before realizing he was curious about her... "Me? Well, My mom and dad had an arranged marriage, I have no idea what he does for a job, My mom is a stay at home mom, My grandparents on my mom's side seem to hate me for some reason... Which I don't really know why.. I have two elder brothers, like I said before they're in Slytherin. I love strawberries and flowers but what girl doesn't?" she paused as she laughed slightly " I like looking at the stars when I'm feeling home sick because it makes me feel more at home because when I was younger my mom and I used to look up at them and point out the constellations and such." she smiled thinking about it.
Emilia moved to a bench and sat down before opening her bag and pulling out her muggle studies book. She opened it and turned to the page, "World War 1 it seems to be." she said before looking at him. "Now teach me wise one" she joked playfully before sheepishly smiling at him. She had to admit to herself. she was actually quite excited for this. For the chance to actually understand what the professor was going on about. She didn't have any idea what world war 1 was even about! thankfully, she met Havok in the library today. Emilia reached for her back and pulled on parchment and a quill as well as some ink.

Havok didn't have much to do for the rest of the day, but this book on werewolves was something he needed and he was upset that he had to lie to Madam Pince. His heart thumped a bit, not really sure which direction he should go with his life, in other words he really needed to talk to someone he could trust and he only knew one adult that he could talk to freely. Dim. He smiled for her sympathies, but this was something he could only do alone and he wouldn't stop fighting for it. He was used to the charades of others when it came to his Germanic accent, normally he had girls flocking him just to hear him speak, he wasn't blind to the moves they made in order to gain attraction. It was just that he was so broken inside with the whole Death Eater attention and Alecto, she was a vial bitch. There was really only one thing he could do now, and that was to play nice.
"It happens to some and unfortunately it happened to me, no big deal. It still hurts yea, but it's passed quickly my family was pretty devastated, but we knew if it was the way it was to be than it would be how it is now." It was that understanding that made it easier to get through with life everyday, but not only that, the revenge burning in his chest was what fired his motivation. "You've just really need to cope with it all, it gets easier with time." That was definitely the truth.
Listening to her talk about her family was a great escape if only for but a moment. It had come to his realization that she was pretty plain and average, at least at this time she seemed that way. Maybe there was something more that she was hiding other than being flirty and a homely person. Talk about the stars was interesting, "if you think about it, no matter where you are if you look up your mother is seeing the same stars you are. Perhaps that is a better connection?" He didn't judge, but she had a really nice smile, he wasn't completely oblivious to the signals, in the least, but he wasn't entirely sure if he should act on them.
He moved to sit next to her when she pulled out the muggle studies book to the World War I section and he nodded. "It's simple to learn, you just really need to apply yourself when you study. You shouldn't half ass something." He wasn't about to be nice when it came to the books. He was one of the few that studied after classes nearly everyday, but he wasn't going to go as far as ditching the weekend to study. Everyone needs a break now and then.
"So, on June 28th 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo, and thus Austria-Hungary declared war against Serbia causing the Central Powers, which included the German Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the British Empire, France and Italy, to fight against the Kingdom of Serbia. Alliances that had been formed over decades were invoked and within weeks the major powers were at war, spreading conflict around the world. On July 18th the Austro-Hungarian invasion of Serbia began followed by the invasion of Belgium, Luxembourg and France by the Germans, which is when Russia attacked Germany. After the German march on Paris was stopped, the western front settled into a static battle that changed little until 1917. Russia succeed against the Austro-Hungarians, but were fought back by the Germans. More front had opened later in the war. The Ottoman Empire joined in 1914, Bulgaria and Italy in 1915, Romania in 1916 and the Russian Empire collapsed in 1917, thus they left the war after the October Revolution. In 1918 the United States stuck their nose into our business and the Allies drove back the German army, and in November they agreed to a cease fire which we know now as Armistice Day."
"By the wars end the major imperial powers, German Russian, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman Empires had ceased to exist because of the military and political defeat. There for the League of Nations was formed in hopes to prevent another World War," Havok looked over at her and realized in the middle of his speech he had lit up a cigarette without realizing it. Not until it was propped between his lips did he say anything else. "Did I go to fast for you?"

Emilia never really thought of it that way. the fact that her parents, her family could be looking at the stars exactly as she was... This new thought excited her no doubt. "You know, I've never really thought of it that way, normally I'd look up at the stars and just think back about the fun times I've had with my mum." she laughed softly. the fact that this surprised her didn't surprised her. She was fairly easy to surprise most of the time. really all depending on her mood and such.
She grinned slightly when he moved next to her. she didn't know if her plan was working to her advantage or what exactly. perhaps he was just being nice? she didn't know exactly for sure. But she'd be more then willing to take all the help she needed. {color=007fff]" When it comes to learning, I just think I don't really know how to study correctly for the information to actually stick. "
[/color] she tried to explain that maybe that was why she actually had no idea what was going on in that class. Emilia's mind was trying to soak up everything he had said like a sponge but it got half way through before stopping her and her mind almost completely froze. She was confused beyond belief. Muggle studies just wasn't her subject so this was really confusing but she listened still trying to understand what was going on. She got the jest of it, there was fighting... a lot of it but she got lost when the Germans made a invasion on France. "I thought the Germans were on the same side as france..." she said, laughing softly at herself. " and why was Ferdinand assassinated?" she asked. Normally, there were reasons for a person to kill another person and she was simply curious to why he was murdered. When he asked if he had gone to fast, he really had. but she soaked a decent proportion of the explanation. "Kinda. You lost me after the German march on Paris." she laughed nervously as she scratched her head. Emilia stared at his cigarette, It didn't really bother her that he smoked, just was just a little concerned with the smell of it. depending on the type of cigarette it was, it determined how it smelt. Hopefully it didn't smell horrible and cause her to gag. she sighed slightly while looking at her Muggle studies book. Adding a yawn to this combination, she always seemed to suddenly get sleepy when working on Muggle studies which was never a good thing to happen in the middle of class. Emilia stretched before looking at Hovak. "sorry I'm really bad at this subject" she apologized again. "Why does it seem like France always getting picked on by Germany. In World War 2,doesn't Germany invade France again? or am i getting my countries mixed up again?" Emilia was never good with the locations of counties in Europe, she always seemed to get them mixed up not terribly missed up, sometimes she'll mix up Poland, Germany, and France thinking Germany was next Russia then its France then poland... She was never good with geography or directions. Which was why she always got lost basically all the time unless she was with someone else and they actually knew where they were going. She was directionally challenged, it had taken her a while to actually understand where she was going in Hogwarts and still there were times she got lost. Luckily, she wasn't to fond of change so each day she'd take the same way to class so she was never late to class because of her lack of sense of direction. Inhaling softly he looked over at her, then caught the wind a bit switching sides making sure it wasn't directly in her face. "I apologize, I'm usually not around many people, if it bothers you I can put it out." Havok was being sincere, he was always patient and willing to teach people, it never really bothered him in the least if an individual struggled with a subject he would do his best to help them understand. There was never a time when he didn't think of the need of others and that possibly got him into more trouble than necessary. For instance the whole ordeal with Alecto, he had no idea how he was going to maneuver his way out of the issues.
He let out a small chuckle when she mentioned France and Germany being on the same sides and he shook his head. "I honestly cannot remember a time when Germany has gotten on with France, in both of the world wars Germany had invaded. The question about why Ferdinand was assassinated, that I can answer. The objective of the assassination was to break off Austria-Hungary's south-Slav provinces so that they could be combined into a Greater Serbia, or what we now recognize as Yugoslavia." She was confused and he took that into account with a smile.
"I'm sure you'll understand, here let me see your book." Once it was within his hands he flipped to the section he knew nearly by heart and looked into it. "Right here, this explains the rise and fall of the Ottoman Empire, this is extremely important since I am more than certain it'll be on the test. " He pointed out more information regarding the assassinations as well as other important details that would be on the chapter end test and made a little note in her book to let her know the main points within the book. "If you remember the names you should be fine on the quiz, if you need more help studying I'm sure I can help you a bit, that is if you need it."
"You'll get it down, and to be honest the second time was because of Adolf Hitler, and the United States beaching on the shores of Normandy. Just a bunch of jumble I'm sure you'll get into once you reach that chapter, no need to get more confused about it now." He nodded and found himself playing with the hem of his sweater, flicking the ash off the end of his cancer stick and sighed. "I've found that if you read about it right before you go to bed and before the test it'll stay in your head longer so you can quickly answer the questions you know right away before they escape your head. Another thing is that if you know some questions read them all the way through so that you can relate them to other questions on the test. Some professors tend to do that."
She was a pretty girl, he didn't know what it was exactly but apparently he was attracted to longer and darker haired women. Those were the pinpoints he was noticing and he would take into heavy consideration. Granted at the moment he felt like a geek, spewing his knowledge of the muggle world all into her lap. It was almost as if it were verbal vomit that he couldn't control. "Other than looking at the stars and thinking of home, what else is it you do for a good time?" For being in the same house and the same year he was surprised that he hardly knew the girls, he was aware of the boys, oh hell he was so aware of them, considering half of them were marauders, and you cannot get a decent night sleep anywhere in the common room.

Emilia shrugged. It didn't bother her that he was smoking to be honest. She just never expected him to smoke that's what caught her off guard. " No, it's fine you don't have too. I'm just surprised it all, I didn't really expect you to smoke. You don't seem like one anyways." she explained. She never really expected anyone from Gryffindor to actually take up smoking, Slytherin sure that is a given kinda, and maybe some Hufflepuffs were pressured into doing it. Ravenclaws were too blagh to try it she thought anyways.
As he explained how Germany and France were actually like Cat and mouse. Germany being the cat and France being the submissive mouse. Germany always invading France and taking some of it over and France trying to fight it but always end up going under and being controlled by Germany.
The explanation for why Ferdinand was assassinated it really started to make more since to her the more in depth he went about the subjects and really explained the answers to the questions she had asked. slowly it was starting to make sense.
Emilia handed him her book when he asked for it. He started to flip through it until it reached a section she didn't find familiar at all. her blue eyes scanned over the information he pointed out in the book and realized there was no way she was going to remember all of this by the day of the quiz. but she came up with a plan when he offered to help her. "I probably will need all the help I can get, if you don't mind helping that is" she smiled sweetly at him and bit her bottom lip lightly. "Chances are I wont remember this by the time the quiz comes around" she laughed nervously at herself. She was planning to get as much help as she could out of Havok.
"you cant suddenly jump to the second world war and get me all confused!" she joked and she nudged him with her elbow lightly before laughing softly at her implied joke she attempted to make. "reading right before bed? That sounds a little odd... But I cant deny it until I try it... so I guess I'll know what I'll be doing to night" she was a little suspicious at that idea of reading before bed helps you remember things for the day to come. That sounded like trickery to her but she cant say anything bad about it before she tries it at least once.
He had changed the subject which she was all for at this moment. Nothing was more boring then Muggle Studies to her. She normally fell asleep even thinking about it! It was really her worst subject out of everything. "Well, Besides you know, normal things like hanging out with people, going to Hogsmeade, and sleeping. Late at night when I know the chances of someone coming out are very very slim, I go skinny dipping in the lake but shhhhh don't tell any one." she winked and giggled softly. It was hard to tell if she was telling the truth or just flirting to the max, but in all honest she was telling the truth.
It was true though, She was being honest and to be even more honest, she loves her body and enjoys being naked more than having to wear clothing. "What about you? what do you do for fun? I mean besides hanging in the library and waiting for girl's who struggle with school so you can help them" she teased playfully.

Havok was a nice sort of fellow, he didn't need to many interactions to get to know someone, and from this point he knew that Emilia was going to be a fun individual in the future. "Don't worry about World War II, there are other things that lead up to it that may be worth extra credit on your test. It's important you get good marks, it'll decide your future and make it easier for you to get a better job." A smile crept along his lips and met his eyes as he nodded.
There was a time when life was so carefree, and he just wanted it to be there again. It didn't help that he could feel a change in the winds of time and everything was going to eventually come to an end. "Yes, reading before bed helps, well it helps me in the least. When I'm stuck on something I'll read about it for a little then let it sink in." He strummed his fingers on the bench and pulled the cigarette to his lips. He inhaled quickly before she said aything about what she does in the lake and he exhaled with a heap full of coughing.
Hunching over, the smoke he inhaled came out in puffs, he held onto his chest and finally began laughing. "That, that is quite a feat I must say so myself. I don't think I've met anyone brave enough to even go swimming in the lake." He coughed lightly clearing his through and smiling at her. "I'll try not to let your secret go, it's between you and me." He laughed again and shook his head.
Havok would of never pinned her for the type to skinnydip in the lake, not that he wouldn't mind watching. Perhaps when she was no where to be found he'd head to the Astronomy Tower and get a little peak. Then the question was then reversed onto him and he had to actually think about it. "Well, I like to hang out in Hogsmeade and drink with my friends, you know the usual. I read a lot, more to the point of obsessed with reading. Anything that deals with werewolves you know. None of that vampire stuff, they get old after a while." Perhaps he's said to much, but he was certain of one thing. He didn't hate ALL werewolves, no he only hated one, and he hated him so much that he wanted his head for a trophy in his living room.

Emilia laughed softly at the easier to get a better job thing. She already knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to be a stay at home mom but she had to admit, She thought she was pretty enough to be to be a Milf, which was true in her mind. " For a while, I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. But now, I think I want to be a house wife, a Milf, and a trophy wife all in one. " she laughed softly. It may have sound like she was joking but she really wasn't. That was what she truly wanted to be, that is until she found something better to be.
Emilia was still iffy about the whole 'reading before bed' thing. That meant she had to actually bring her book to her bed and read it. Which would probably end up her falling asleep with it on her lap or next to her taking up most of her bed which she wouldn't like at all. " I guess I'll have to try it once. but I'm still a little unsure about it. But you said it helps you so it wont hurt to at least try it once."she explained. The only way she would actually do it is if she remembered to do it.
" Well I am in Gryffindor aren't I? Of course I'm brave enough to go in there! It's really nice when it's really hot out. " she giggled softly. As he said he would try not to tell anyone, She smirked and winked at him. She didn't actually realized she was flirting with him. But she was enjoying it quite a lot. Then again, She was a girl and girls tend to flirt a lot. " It's really refreshing, It helps to clear your mind too... you're welcome to join me anytime. I'm defiantly not shy about my body" she winked at him again.
Emilia's interest peaked when he mentioned he drank with friends. after he went on about what he did, her mid went back to the drinking thing. " Drink?" she questioned. "You don't look like a drinker but then, I don't think I look like one either." she paused. "We should drink together sometime! That'd be really fun!" she added. She looked back at her book of boringness and sighed softly, she didn't want to study, she wanted to do something else but didn't know for sure what exactly it was.
Her hand moved to his cheek and caressed it softly. " Thanks for helping me though, I was starting to loose faith that I'd ever understand it. If there's any way I could repay you, just let me know alright?" she smiled happily before moving her hand away from his cheek, hoping she hadn't made it awkward for him. She bit her bottom lip softly before moved her hand to her book and closed it. " I'm tired of studying... could we do something else?" she smiled sweetly. "I'm not quite sure what we could do, but I'm sure we could find something. I mean unless you want to keep studying, I don't mind but I figured it'd be more fun to do something awesome and fun." she nervously said as she gathered her hair and pulled it over her shoulder that was farthest from him. She started to nibble on her bottom lip again, why? that wasn't known for sure, she did it whenever she could.
