[Annelise Westerhof]

Annelise found herself in the library more and more frequently lately. She had dropped her obsessive studying of Fenrir Greyback in exchange for material that was more relevant for her classes. She had to admit, she was struggling. She didn't want to always go to Remus with every little problem or issue she had, though. To be honest, she wanted to surprise Remus with good grades, but she didn't know how exactly that was supposed to happen. When she opened a book and started to read, she felt like the words were going into her eyes but her mind wasn't really doing anything with it. Annelise entered the library to find it relatively empty. It was no surprise... everyone seemed to make study groups lately, and many wanted to go outside even though it was still chilly. She looked out the closest window to see thin, grey clouds covering the sky. It seemed a little too ominous to her. The last thing she wanted to go outside and then get rained on - or worse yet, ruin library books and then try to return them!

Annelise looked down at the book list she had made for herself. She had gone to some professors and ask for some suggestions for books to maybe help her understand the material better. She felt a little offended when she looked down at the list. Most of them were the wizarding equivalents of "_____ for Dummies". She tried to ignore her pride and then scrolled along the shelves, aimlessly looking for books. Many of them were at eyelevel with her, which was nice considering she wasn't very tall. However, when she got to one of the last books, her arms were already full of books. There was a book just out of reach for her... she reached up and tried to grab it. However, considering she was struggling to hold the books she had and balance on the tips of her toes, she ended up falling forward, accidentally pulling down a shelf of books down on top of her as well.

It wasn't often when Emilia would go to the library and actually study... but she needed too keep her good grades so her death eater father would keep off her back about such things. "books books books too much of a hassle in my opinion." she muttered to herself as she casually walked towards the old library. she had just freshly painted her nails a green color, oh how sometimes she was just so muggle like. Her blue eyes shifted from left to right looking down hall ways for anyone she might know so she could 'accidentally' run in to them and find some way out of studying... but there wasn't a soul to be found. it was like everyone she knew was either in class or had disappeared off the face of the earth. She hadn't seen Emma in only god knows how long and as for Sirius? He was probably off snogging Lena.

Emilia pulled a bit of a face at the thought of Sirius and Lena. No she wasn't jealous, but just the fact of imagining two people snogging grossed her out a bit, especially if she wasn't one of the persons doing the snogging. Honestly, she never really imagined Sirius and Lena getting together... It seems a bit off. To Emilia anyways, they didn't seem right, but then again, she doesn't know Lena so well and maybe there's a side to Lena that matches Sirius perfectly. She couldn't really judge them. She didn't even know if the two were together but it certainly seemed like it when it felt like Lena was kinda following Sirius around a bit... or vise verse.

Emilia shook her head, dismissing the thoughts of Sirius and Lena. Emilia didn't believe in dating so much anymore. It only caused drama which she didn't like unless the guy was very special to her. "ah!, here we are" her legs haulted in front of the library "Defense Against the Dark Arts books, Here I come!" she added before stepping in to the library. a few seconds after she had walked to some books there was a large crash! "It wasn't me this time!" she nearly shouted. many times before she had caused a little trouble.... but she wasn't taking the blame for this! but as she shouted that, she certainly made a dash to where the ruckus came from.

upon arriving, there was a rather large pile of books and a girl... "oi! are you alright?" Emilia made her way over to the girl and slowly started taking books off of her. "to make this not awkward or anything of the such, I'm Emilia Mcinnis. " she paused for a moment studying the girls face now. "you look a little familiar..." Emilia thought she had seen the girl around the common room... or maybe more like hanging with Remus.. the rare occasion Emilia would actually see Remus.

Annelise, covered in books, heard someone talking apparently to themselves. It wasn't like she had to struggle to hear: the voice was quite loud. In her head, she panicked a bit. She didn't want to be found covered in books, but at the same time couldn't get the books off herself. She struggled to even wiggle her hand. When she tried to full-force stand up and just let the books spilled off her, she just looked immensely awkward - almost like she was going to go to the bathroom under the books. Really, not much of her was showing. There was even a book covering her face. Only her one foot and opposite hand stuck out from under the rubble. She didn't even know how that many books fell on top of her. Then again, she wasn't very big. Annelise then heard someone scream that it wasn't them after the books had fallen on her.

"Well, no, it was me,"

[/b] Annelise stated, but there was so much weight on top of her that it compressed her chest and therefore made it difficult to talk out. She was (somewhat) thankful moments later when books started to get pulled off of her. As each book was pulled off, Annelise began to feel like she could breathe better. "Thanks," she said as soon as enough was pulled off for her to stand up. She glanced over to Madam Pince who was stalking over to them, grumbling who-knows-what. "We'll put them away! It's fine!"[/b]

Surprisingly, the librarian actually seemed to think that the book were OK. Annelise looked down and picked up a book to discover the cover was falling off. She grimaced at it, wondering if it had been like that before the accident. She awkwardly placed it on the shelf before bending down and grabbing more.

"Yeah I know who you are. Emilia McInnis, sixth year Gryffindor, right? You're best friends with Emma from Ravenclaw. You guys have been best friends I think since first year, am I right? I find Emma nice, even if she doesn't realize that Matthew is completely in love with her,"[/b] Annelise rambled, mindlessly. Her thoughts seemed to mentally flicker through the journal she kept regarding things she noticed about people around her. It helped her remember things, and since she had such a hard time making friends, it allowed her to feel like she was getting to know people and like people even if they had never really spoke to her much. "I sit three desks away from you in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Oh, I'm Annelise Westerhof, I suppose you don't know me,"[/b] she stated. She didn't offer a hand due to putting books away, but she did offer a smile. The moment she did, however, it disappeared. She realized she was saying too much. Social deprivation made her say things that she was supposed to pretend that she didn't know. She took a deep breath in hopes that it would prevent her cheeks from going crimson. She bit her lip as she avoided eye contact and put a few more books away. "You probably know me as Remus Lupin's girlfriend, maybe."[/b]

She tried not to say it with cynicsm. She loved being with Remus, but people only seemed to know her through extension. Well, people initially knew Remus by extension from James and Sirius, and then knew her from a further extension. Regardless, she wished either people didn't recognize her at all or recognized her because they actually spoke to her and knew her. It was funny how her brother could get murdered by Greyback, and instead of being the girl with the brother who was murdered by Greyback, she was still just Remus' girlfriend.
