..Let me tell you, a little something about myself[/color]
Matt was born into a middle class muggle family. He was the second eldest out of four. He has two younger sister and an elder brother. It was actually a little funny how he came in to this family. Matt is adopted. His mother gave birth to his elder brother but when they tried for another, his mother couldn't get pregnant. they tired and tired and tired until finally, they gave up and adopted a little boy. Thus how Matthew came into the Yeaghly family. this newly found ability of having unprotected sex without getting pregnant, his parents got on quite a lot...
a few years later, his mother got pregnant again with twins this time. thus brought his sisters in to the world. When Matt was about seven, his family had to move due to his fathers job change. It brought them to a nice neighborhood were they meant the McCoy family. The family's almost instantly clicked. they were as close as any neighbors would be. the children played with each other while the adults hung out and talked together.
That was when he met her. Emma, she was a little younger than him but he liked her. actually, he liked her a lot. If he could have married her, he would have. but they were children so of course it was nothing serious right? Emma was his best friend, well to him she was his best friend. He always played with her or hung out with her despite her being... well her.
When he turned 11, he received a little that his elder brother hadn't received. something about being a wizard. His family ignored it at first... until it kept coming and coming. his family finally accepted it and celebrated the fact that he was a wizard. but had no idea what to do about it... It wasn't long until his family figured it out and off he was to Hogwarts to be a wizard!
His first year was great. He was sorted in to Ravenclaw, being a genius and all. his second year, to his surprise he saw Emma in ravenclaw, of course this only excited him more due to the fact that his childhood sweetheart was a witch AND in the same house as him. He avoided her at first... really nervous and unsure of how she'd react. they were neighbors after all and he was the only one in his family that was a wizard.
through out his years, he's tried his best to hide his lanky awkwardness from his few friends. over the years, his imagination and smarts only grew, which makes him want to live as a muggle after Hogwarts and be a scientist or a cartoon artist!
