What can be found in a name:
When the day I was born:
The Angels screamed:
And Hell shut its doors:
While creatures retreated:
To depths unknown:
I hide from them:
Be who they want to see:
now severus isn’t someone that is known for his good looks, he lack them for all that is worth. starting from the top we begin with his coal black hair, reaching to his shoulder and slightly curled you will think that it is something nice. unfortunately severus’ hair is rather greasy, it isn’t like he doesn’t watch it like a few may believe, it is just naturally that way. something he inherited from his own muggle father. moving down we may find Severus eyes, who are almost if not as black as his own hair. some people believe that they tell you the emotions within, unfortunately for you this doesn’t work with Severus. looking into them you will only probably watch to cold, wholes that lead to no where. severus makes sure to always keep his emotions heading and his eyes will never betray that about him. his lips are neither large, nor are they small. they are pretty average, slightly pink for most of the time, this is the result of his bad habit to sulk and bite on them.
like his lips his ears are also very average, thought severus does think that they may be a bit small compared to the rest pf his face. now the most noticeable aspect about severus’ face would be his rather hooked nose, something that causes many jokes around people when he is there. severus isn’t as bothered by it as you may think, it was something that he inherited from his mother side and he is proud of that. thought it would be a lie not to say that he isn’t fond of the jokes people tend to through his way. leaving that aspect we move to the rest of his body. severus is someone who is rather tall, coming from both sides of his family. he stand to almost 6 feet tall, with a very thin figure. Only weighting approximately 137, take or out a few more. his arms are legs are both long and like his body thin and very flexible for someone so tall. like tall he also is rather quick and has no trouble blending in and sneaking around. with long and slender finger and slightly darkened nails from working with potion ingredients we have severus.
severus isn’t someone that practices much sports to be truthful, his body lacks muscle at all. yet it is hard to notice this when it comes to his ward drove. severus is found of soft blues and dark greens. he also likes to wear blacks combined with whites and such. His wardrobe mostly consist of second hand robes and a few muggle outfits, he does have a few nicer and new robes. yet he only uses them for more especial type of occasions were they may be needed. for most of the time he is seen wearing the slytherin school robes, unless during weekends and a few rare hogsmeade trips. his hair is left untied for most of the time and slightly combed. as for the shoes severus only has two, the ones he wears most of the time, been the school ones and another that are only left for those very rare important events. he is someone that likes to keep things in place and the way he looks tends to give this off.
But that leaves no one:
To discover that inside:
now there are many ways to describe severus snape, many of them can have the same chance as to be right, than as to be wrong. to begin with severus snape has a rather sarcastic and cold personality. he can act very cruelty toward other people, especially when around other slytherins that he calls “friends”. he is also someone that tends to act very sarcastic and throw comments even without noticing he did it. this tends to take many people back and most of the time it tends to annoy them a lot. people can never really tell what he is really thinking or planning, he has a very closed mind and his face and movements tend to hide his thought very well. there are very few times were severus allows his barriers down and this tend to be around lily. to those he is friends with he can be nice to, he has a few very close friends. mostly belonging to slytherin, but he also has a few outside of the house.
but to outsiders he may act even more cold toward, he is very afraid of opening himself to people. mostly out of fear of showing any type of weakness that may end up affecting him later. when he was younger and even now later in life severus tended to be an awkward child, he tended to once more blurt things out without meaning to. he was also probably a bit more open there, after his third year and up he became slightly more closed, something that lily noticed a lot. he was also very shy and people usually bullied him without much thought about it, including his own father and sometimes mother. but as he grew older and began to learn more about magic, he began fighting back too. no longer taking that type of treatment fro other, something that changed his personality a lot. plus once he began hanging around other slytherins, people began leaving him alone, more out of fear than anything else.
he has only fallen in love once with a child-hood friend. but his feeling where never returned by lily evans, it became more of a one-sided thing. he tend to hold strong grudges to those who hurt him, especially the gryffindor students, self named marauders. he spends must of his time inside hogwarts studying. he doesn’t like noise and keeps away from activities that may have too much of these. he also still feels awkward around new people that he doesn’t know much about. this causes him to have a hard time getting to know new people. so most of his closest friends have been friends with him for a long time. he doesn’t begin to trust someone, until he knows he knows a lot about them. you never know when someone will try to turn around and stab you right in the back. better to be prepared that to suffer for the lack of common sense. one of the few lessons he learned from his father.
This soulless being:
Is just as lost:
As everyone else:
In a world that knows only hate:
And causes pain for the soulless like me:
They left me to die:
On a bed of roses:
Blood seeping through:
The satin sheets of fame:
What a bitter story of love:
Severus heart stopped slightly when he noticed nothingness beyond him, he had been rather jumpy lately. It was one of those things that he disliked, he hadn’t met the Marauders in some time now and he was sure that it wouldn’t be long before the showed their faces before him. He only hoped that they dared to do such thing while he was surrounded by other Slytherin, to give him a chance of fighting. But that was not how James Potter, Sirius Black and the other two that followed them acted. They preferred to go against those who in their eyes were outnumbered, removing their wand and enabling them to fight back. Everyone applauded this weak actions of them, unable to see the cowardice that laid behind their dirty Gryffindor faces. Severus couldn’t help to scowl at them, his time in Hogwarts could not be longer having them around. Yet it would see that his efforts to rid of them worked, not even his own life placed at risk convinced the Headmaster that they should be spelled and if possible dragged into Azkaban.
Another scowl and Severus was picking his book once more and picking it from a different page. Without another sound he picked a clean paper and began writing down some notes. He had been working lately on a spell, it was hardly complete yet, but Severus had high hopes for his latest invention. The only thing he hoped for was that it would not get out against his wishes like one of his previous works. One that had been unfortunately used against him, by the same people he despised with every tissue of his being. He hadn’t dared to speak that he had been the one to make the spell, it would only encourage the Marauders even more into using it against himself. Plus credit mattered very little to him, the reason why he never placed his name on his possessions, thought there was little need for that. No one in their right mind would try to steal anything from him, not even his wand had been his own. Instead it had belonged to his grandfather, someone he had never even met.
Severus rose an eyebrow in annoyance when a female voice spoke not far from were he now sat, cursing himself for allowing his guard to go down like that. With his history the Slytherin boy expected that he should know better by now. He couldn’t help to show a bit of annoyance as he turned toward who ever had dared to disturb him, without even asking first. Yet at the sight of the person his features relaxed slightly. It was a strange thing that he had not recognized the familiar voice of no other but Narcissa Black, someone that even thought he wasn’t close to had known for sixth years now. He closed the book slightly, leaving it to rest on his free hand, his eyes moved slowly toward Narcissa ad he offered a seat besides him. Doubting that someone of her high status would take it, but it would be best for him to at least try to act well mannered, it was the thing a gentlemen would do after all.
“You can say that, mostly jus reading over a few old notes.” Severus looked away slightly rolling his eyes unintentionally. He had heard that one many times before, it appeared that people never grew tired of pointing out the obvious. He knew it would be wrong to get upset for something so small, but it would be a lie to deny that Severus wasn’t in the best of moods. Something usually brought up when he thought about James or any Gryffindor for that matter. Not even thinking about Lily was something that brought joy to him anymore, it had been a while since he had seen that bright smile of hers. “What are you doing out here Narcissa? Is something wrong? I wouldn’t mind giving you a hand, I’m done with my work anyway.” Severus tried to give the blond girl a half-hearted smile, resting his back against the tree once more. Feeling as the roots pressed painfully against his skin over the light robes he wore now.
